Opis:
The paper presents the analysis and discussion of video detection data usage for discrete transport systems safety improvement. The Autonomous Vehicles (AV) and the Augmented Reality (AR) research in connection with a Driving Assistance (DA) are presented. This article is going to show where the border between those two fields of interest is and how they are going to influence on the future of automotive. The proposal of the AR system – based on soft-computing methods used for an object classification problem – is given. The input data are taken from the real traffic monitoring system located at the set of roads in Poland. Data from the monitoring devices are used to analyze the travel time of vehicles – elements of the transportation system. The travel time model taking into account the real road situation is built. The proposed solution can be an essential tool for the owner and administrator of the transportation systems

Opis:
In Indonesia, ground-based rainfall monitoring is uneven and sometimes lacks continuity especially in small watersheds, which makes hydrological modeling difficult. This paper aims to the performance evaluation of the HBV Light model from the manual measurement of rainfall (MMR), Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM3IMERGDF), and Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM-3B42) as input for the hydrological model. The Hydrologiska Byrans Vattenbalansavdelning (HBV) Light hydrological model is applied to three small watersheds, namely Sampean Baru, Bedadung, and Mayang. The model’s performance evaluation is assessed based on the correlation between the average rainfall data for the satellite product area and the MMR product, the stationarity of the rainfall and discharge data, and the model accuracy. The model simulation results show that the MMR rainfall in all watersheds provides a better discharge response than the other two products. Meanwhile, the simulation model of the GPM-3IMERGDF satellite product is slightly better than TRMM-3B42. The stationarity test of rainfall and discharge data needs to be enforced before modeling.

Mixed Methods Research (MMR)
Opis:
The paper argues for the necessity of a combination MMR methods (questionnaire, interview) and sentiment/opinion techniques to personal satisfaction analysis at the maritime and training education and proposes a generic, but practical research approach for this purpose. The proposed approach concerns the personal satisfaction evaluation of Engine Room simulator systems and combines the speech recording (sentiment/opinion analysis) for measuring emotional user responses with usability testing (SUS tool). The experimental procedure presented here is a primary effort to research the emotion analysis (satisfaction) of the users-students in Engine Room Simulators. Finally, the ultimate goal of this research is to find and test the critical factors that influence the educational practice and user’s satisfaction of Engine Room Simulator Systems and the ability to conduct full-time system control by the marine crew.
