Opis:: The definition of the sustainable tourism is considered. The purpose of the integrated spatial formation of the CBR, and its priorities are considered. The problems that hinder the development of effective tourism and recreation industry are analysed and key objectives of local policy to encourage the development of tourist activities are identified.

Opis:: The paper summarizes the contribution of the Ukrainian and Polish scholars into the study of challenges of European integration in Ukraine. It proves the importance of researching socio-economic problems of Lviv region in the context of European integration. We have described the general characteristics of Lviv region and revealed the advantages of economic and geographical position of the region. It has been analyzed the problems of structural changes in the region’s economy, the challenges of reindustrialization, the investment and foreign economic activity of Lviv region. The special emphasis has been put on the need to transform the region’s economy in order to overcome the long-lasting socio economic crisis.

Opis:: Lubelskie Voivodeship located on the Polish borderline and on the edge of the European Union is a very important area of development of the integration processes The natural area of cooperation between Poland and Ukraine is to protect nature and the environment. Nature conservation on the Polish-Ukrainian border is an example of successful cooperation of neighboring countries. Despite the differences within the policy of nature conservation, the cooperation brought the establishment of the UNESCO nature reserve. Those differences concern mainly the approach to the idea and forms of conservation in legally protected areas. These differences will be shown on the example of border areas of Lubelskie Voivodeship and Lviv Oblast.

Opis:: The article is devoted to the issue of shaping the architectural environment of small towns located in the Lviv Oblast (Ukraine). It includes all the most important spatial features of the analyzed localities and their significance in shaping architectural attractiveness of individual towns and the region. The article defines the phenomenon of architectural attractiveness. The most important issue in this article is the presentation of the author’s independent method of identifying possible directions of development of small town architectural attractiveness.
Artykuł poświęcony jest problemowi kształtowania środowiska architektonicznego małych miast położonych w obwodzie lwowskim (Ukraina). Zostały w nim określone najważniejsze cechy przestrzenne badanych miejscowości oraz ich znaczenie w kształtowaniu atrakcyjności architektonicznej poszczególnych miast i regionu. W artykule zdefiniowano zjawisko atrakcyjności architektonicznej. W tym artykule najistotniejszą rzeczą jest zaprezentowanie autorskiej metody określania możliwych kierunków rozwoju atrakcyjności architektonicznej małych miast.
