    The aim of this paper is to answer the following questions: what military art is, what it is concerned with, what it is for, how it developed through history, and what its essence and impact on the quality of logistics potential is. While discussing the above, the authors refer to the following issues: • philosophy of military art in historical approach; • theory of Clausewitz versus military art; • vision of nuclear war versus military art; • military art versus information potential of the military; • military art in the logistics system of the military; • quality and quantity of the military and its capability; • quality of logistics in performing military tasks of the military. The essence, specificity, and scope of military art concerning its impact on the knowledge connected with the military and their operational tasks are considered by the authors of this paper in the historical aspect as well as the current reality of the armed forces. The need to improve the quality of performing logistics tasks and the creation and improvement of the logistics system of the military are discussed across the spectrum of military art concerning the current high quality requirements. It is expected within the scope of services rendered by the operational military systems. This paper analyses the essence and necessity of qualitative breakthrough in the current logistic reality on the basis of theoretical interpretations of combat war phenomenon involving its two opposing subsystems (potentials) containing material (energetic) and nonmaterial (informational) aspects. It is assumed that both of these varying aspects of any potential are expected to function properly according to their designation. Therefore, they must be influenced by the proper qualitative logistic potential based on the settled principles of the military art to provide feedback, continuity, and completion of tasks. Finally, having described the great role of logistics in providing the high level of combat operations and expected results, the authors conclude the paper with reflections concerning the place and role of logistics, as well as its qualitative requirements in practical activity, and the contribution of the military art in this approach.

    In this work the difficulties of a safety restriction in the transport of chemical substances is explored. The ranking of dangerous substances and materials is presented to indicate that substances used in various industries have been called hazardous. Transport of substances classified in hazardous group or even toxic is regulated by international rules, which apply in all countries of Europe - The European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. This legislation aimed to eliminate or reduce the risks associated with transport of dangerous substances. The main aim of this article is to present the most important aspects which entrepreneurs planning the logistics of hazardous substances should consider.

    Głównym celem publikacji jest przedstawienie roli wybranych logistycznych aspektów związanych z organizacją imprez masowych artystyczno-rozrywkowych. Problematyka pracy dotyczy głównie kryteriów wyboru odpowiedniego miejsca imprezy oraz przygotowania niezbędnej infrastruktury, która jest jednym z kluczowych czynników decydujących o bezpieczeństwie i satysfakcji wszystkich uczestników wydarzenia. Studium przypadku przeprowadzono na przykładzie Rzeszowskich Juwenaliów - największego studenckiego święta organizowanego w południowo-wschodniej Polsce.
    The principal objective of this publication is to present the role of selected logistic aspects connected with the organization of artistic-entertainment mass events. The subject-matter of this dissertation is principally relevant to the criteria of choosing the appropriate venue of the event, and also preparing an indispensable infrastructure, which is one of the crucial factors determining the safety and satisfaction of all participants in the event. The case study was conducted with the use of the example of Rzeszow Juwenalia, the largest student holiday organized in the South-East of Poland.

    Powstanie nowego rodzaju Sił Zbrojnych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej wymaga innego spojrzenia na realizację zadań przez poszczególne pododdziały, oddziały i związki taktyczne. Okazuje się bowiem, że to Wojska Obrony Terytorialnej mogą przyjmować na siebie główny ciężar walki, przynajmniej w początkowej fazie wojny czy też konfliktu zbrojnego. Wychodząc z takiego założenia, należy podjąć szereg działań, w tym w obszarze logistyki, które pozwolą zaspokoić potrzeby logistyczne pododdziałów i oddziałów walczących na pierwszej linii. Wydaje się również uzasadnione, aby tworząc nową jakość w Siłach Zbrojnych RP, jaką są Wojska Obrony Terytorialnej, zapewnić im nowoczesny i przyszłościowy potencjał logistyczny. Powinien on być adekwatny do wyposażenia bojowego, to jest cechujący się porównywalną nowoczesnością z wyposażeniem bojowym, a jednocześnie zdolny do realizacji zadań zabezpieczenia logistycznego.
    The emergence of a new kind of Polish armed forces enforces a different look for tasks by the subunits, branches and associations. It turns out that the territorial defence forces can take on yourself the main burden of the fight, at least in the initial phase of the war or armed conflict. Assuming that we should take a series of measures including in the area of logistics, which will meet the needs of the logistics detachments and units during on the first line. It also seems reasonable to create a new quality in the armed forces of POLAND which are Territorial defence forces, provide them with a modern and future-proof potential logistics. It should, in principle, must be adequate to the combat equipment is characterized by a comparable modern combat equipment, and simultaneously capable of achieving the objectives of the security.

    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie podstaw metodycznych charakterystycznych dla procesu projektowania praktycznych systemów logistycznych, uwzględniając specyficzne wymagania charakteryzujące procesy i operacje logistyczne. Artykuł zakończono wnioskami.
    The aim of this article is to present a methodological framework to design practical logistics systems taking into account specific requirements of the logistic processes and operations. Following problems are discussed: applied logistics as a practical science, logistic process design, design principles, improvement and custom design, universal approach to design and implementation processes, a concept of a logistic system of production control.
