Artificial intelligence (AI)-based clinical reasoning support systems in physiotherapy, and in particular data-driven (machine learning) systems, can be useful in making and reviewing decisions regarding functional diagnosis and formulating/maintaining/modifying a rehabilitation programme. The aim of this article is to explore the extent to which the opportunities offered by AI-based systems for clinical reasoning in physiotherapy have been exploited and where the potential for their further stimulated development lies.
Systemy wspomagania wnioskowania klinicznego w fizjoterapii oparte na sztucznej inteligencji, a w szczególności na danych (uczenie maszynowe), mogą być przydatne w podejmowaniu i weryfikacji decyzji dotyczących diagnostyki funkcjonalnej ora formułowania/utrzymywania/modyfikowania programu rehabilitacji. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zbadanie, w jakim stopniu możliwości oferowane przez systemy oparte na sztucznej inteligencji w zakresie rozumowania klinicznego w fizjoterapii zostały wykorzystane i gdzie leży potencjał ich dalszego stymulowanego rozwoju.

Research background: With increasing evidence of cognitive technologies progressively integrating themselves at all levels of the manufacturing enterprises, there is an instrumental need for comprehending how cognitive manufacturing systems can provide increased value and precision in complex operational processes. Purpose of the article: In this research, prior findings were cumulated proving that cognitive manufacturing integrates artificial intelligence-based decision-making algorithms, real-time big data analytics, sustainable industrial value creation, and digitized mass production. Methods: Throughout April and June 2022, by employing Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines, a quantitative literature review of ProQuest, Scopus, and the Web of Science databases was performed, with search terms including "cognitive Industrial Internet of Things", "cognitive automation", "cognitive manufacturing systems", "cognitively-enhanced machine", "cognitive technology-driven automation", "cognitive computing technologies", and "cognitive technologies". The Systematic Review Data Repository (SRDR) was leveraged, a software program for the collecting, processing, and analysis of data for our research. The quality of the selected scholarly sources was evaluated by harnessing the Mixed Method Appraisal Tool (MMAT). AMSTAR (Assessing the Methodological Quality of Systematic Reviews) deployed artificial intelligence and intelligent workflows, and Dedoose was used for mixed methods research. VOSviewer layout algorithms and Dimensions bibliometric mapping served as data visualization tools. Findings & value added: Cognitive manufacturing systems is developed on sustainable product lifecycle management, Internet of Things-based real-time production logistics, and deep learning-assisted smart process planning, optimizing value creation capabilities and artificial intelligence-based decision-making algorithms. Subsequent interest should be oriented to how predictive maintenance can assist in cognitive manufacturing by use of artificial intelligence-based decision-making algorithms, real-time big data analytics, sustainable industrial value creation, and digitized mass production.

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, traditional face-to-face learning was replaced by distance education, e-learning, online learning and blended learning at all education levels, including adult education. Learning Management Systems (LMS) are crucial in organising an efficient pedagogical process online and ensuringthat learners attain learning outcomes. The current research, conducted in six EU countries – Croatia, Latvia, Slovenia, Romania, Poland, and Czechia, evaluates the suitability of the LMS to non-formal and informal adult learning for various target groups when face-to-face adult education was restricted. The research involved 638 participants, 209 of them were learners with barriers to learning. The participants studied the blended learning course created for non-formal and informal adult learning and filled in a feedback questionnaire after its acquisition. The results indicate overall learner satisfaction with the LMS and the course delivery, and the suitability of the LMS for regular adult learners and learners with cultural, social, and geographic barriers to learning both for non-formal and informal learning. The LMS is suitable for learners with economic obstacles for non-formal learning. However, learners with learning difficulties require special pedagogical approaches to support them to acquire the course in an online-only blended learning format.
W związku z pandemią COVID-19 tradycyjne nauczanie twarzą w twarz zostało zastąpione edukacją na odległość, e-learningiem, nauką online i edukacją mieszaną na wszystkich poziomach, w tym w nauczaniu dorosłych. Learning Management Systems (LMS) mają kluczowe znaczenie dla organizowania skutecznego procesu edukacyjnego online i zapewniania, że uczący się osiągają efekty uczenia się. Obecne badania, przeprowadzone w sześciu krajach UE: Chorwacji, Łotwie, Słowenii, Rumunii, Polsce i Czechach, określają przydatność platform LMS do pozaformalnego i nieformalnego uczenia się dorosłych w przypadku różnych grup docelowych, w przypadku, gdy kształcenie dorosłych w bezpośrednim kontakcie jest ograniczone. W badaniach wzięło udział 638 uczestników, w tym 209 osób z trudnościami w dostępie do nauki. Uczestnicy przestudiowali przygotowany kurs typu blended learning jako kurs edukacji pozaformalnej i nieformalnej oraz wypełnili ankietę ewaluacyjną po przyswojeniu treści kursu. Wyniki wskazują na ogólne zadowolenie uczących się z LMS i z prowadzenia kursu oraz przydatność platform LMS dla potrzeb standardowych uczniów dorosłych oraz uczniów z kulturowymi, społecznymi i geograficznymi przeszkodami w uczeniu się zarówno w przypadku uczenia się pozaformalnego, jak i nieformalnego. LMS jest odpowiedni dla uczniów z trudnościami ekonomicznymi w uczeniu się pozaformalnym, ale uczniowie z barierami w nauce wymagają specjalnego podejścia pedagogicznego, aby wesprzeć ich w przyswajaniu treści kursu w formacie nauczania mieszanego wyłącznie online.

Introduction/background: The essence of human resource management is the effective and strategic management of the organisation's people. The key elements of this process are recruiting and selecting appropriate candidates, developing and motivating employees, ensuring harmonious team relations, evaluating staff and managing their departures. Appropriate human resource management contributes to increased productivity, employee engagement and the achievement of organisational goals. Aim of the paper: The aim of this study is to present the functioning of selected human resource management processes among retail shop employees in a retail company in the sports and functional apparel industry, and to develop conclusions and recommendations contributing to the improvement of HRM processes in the studied company and other organisations. Materials and methods: For the aim of the study such research techniques like observation, interview and questionnaire survey were used. Results and conclusions: As a result of the research conducted, conclusions have been developed regarding individual human resource management processes. Recommendations were also made that can be used to improve HRM both in the organisation studied and in other companies. Among the most important areas for improvement were the process of managing departures and the incentive systems used in the organisation.

This study seeks to analyze the students’ need, the conceptual model, and generate a living values-based digital learning resource model in Civic Education. The research and development design was adopted, with the subjects being junior high school students in Bandung City and West Bandung Regency, Indonesia. The students need living values-based digital learning resources in accordance with 21st century learning and skills. Conceptually, the model of living values-digital based learning resources is one that incorportaes living values and living values education principles into civic education learning materials through various platforms in the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS). The model product in the form of a Moodle-based LMS contains teaching materials, living values, media, discussion forums, assignment uploads, and evaluation for the civic education. The model is thought to develop student’s character.

The low performance of educational laboratories managed manually has a negative impact on the students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to compare the performance of laboratories which implement the MISLab as the information systems management to the performance of laboratories managed manually. The study was conducted in 18 Vocational Schools in North Sumatera Province of Indonesia, involving 36 laboratory managers, 54 practicum teachers, and 90 students of educational laboratories. The finding of this study showed that the implementation of MISLab succeeded in improving the performance of educational laboratories with 88.45% achievement of ideal standard and contributed to the 55.52% performance improvement compared to manual laboratory management. The increased laboratory performance has a positive impact on increasing the satisfaction of laboratory managers and students as users, which will lead to enhanced learning effectiveness and achievement of learning outcomes.
Niska wydajność laboratoriów edukacyjnych zarządzanych ręcznie ma negatywny wpływ na wyniki uczenia się uczniów. Niniejsze badanie ma na celu porównanie wydajności laboratoriów wdrażających MISLab jako zarządzanie systemami informatycznymi z wydajnością laboratoriów zarządzanych ręcznie. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone w 18 szkołach zawodowych w prowincji North Sumatera w Indonezji, z udziałem 36 kierowników laboratoriów, 54 nauczycieli praktycznych i 90 uczniów laboratoriów edukacyjnych. Wyniki tego badania wykazały, że wdrożenie MISLab z powodzeniem poprawiło wydajność laboratoriów edukacyjnych, osiągając 88,45% osiągnięcia idealnego standardu i przyczyniło się do poprawy wydajności o 55,52% w porównaniu z ręcznym zarządzaniem laboratorium. Zwiększona wydajność laboratorium ma pozytywny wpływ na zwiększenie zadowolenia kierowników laboratorium i studentów jako użytkowników, co doprowadzi do poprawy efektywności uczenia się i osiągania efektów uczenia się.

This case study investigated how student interaction patterns (Moore, 1993) with different instructional media in a graduate level online environmental toxicology course impacted student outcomes, as measured by grades and student engagement levels. Student engagement levels were measured as Posts, Access, Time, and Hits (PATHs) by using the PATHs Framework (Adebowale, 2017) approach to quantify learning analytics obtained from a Learning Management System. Data was obtained from 13 online students during the fall 2018 semester. Findings indicate that Narrated PowerPoint and Shaky Hand video led to higher student outcomes compared to the other forms of instructional media. Implications for course design, quality assurance mechanisms, assessments, improvement of student outcomes, and criteria for selecting the type of instructional media to use in online courses are also discussed.

The article deals with the problems, disadvantages and advantages of using adaptive learning systems in interactive monitoring and assessment of knowledge. Methodical and technical aspects of interactive monitoring and assessment of knowledge based on the adaptive learning system are defined. The schemes of the algorithms based on which the learning process with simultaneous interactive monitoring and assessment of knowledge is realized is offered. Recommendations on the use of software products for the implementation of interactive monitoring and assessment of knowledge based on an adaptive learning system are proposed.
W artykule omówiono problemy, wady i zalety stosowania adaptacyjnych systemów nauczenia w interaktywnym monitorowaniu i ocenie wiedzy. Określono metodyczne i techniczne aspekty interaktywnego monitorowania i oceny wiedzy w oparciu o adaptacyjny system nauczenia. Zaproponowano schematy algorytmów, na podstawie których realizowany jest proces nauczenia z jednoczesnym interaktywnym monitorowaniem i oceną wiedzy. Proponuje się zalecenia dotyczące wykorzystania oprogramowania do wdrażania interaktywnego monitorowania i oceny wiedzy w oparciu o adaptacyjnej systemie nauczenia.

High quality is organizations’ competitive advantage. It is beneficial to base this on professional approach, and basic concepts and definitions with scientific foundation. The necessary main concepts consist of quality, quality management, quality improvement and quality assurance. Organizations' top management is responsible of the quality management decisions and implementations. The present practical situation is fragmented and the implementations are most often based on the instrumental means of the different methodological schools, which is confusing and detrimental to the understanding and usefulness of the concept of quality management. It is not beneficial to build a special system for quality management by only following the requirements of the general standard. This cannot ensure competitive business advantage. In this article, we present an alternative approach that is a natural practical way to realize quality management as the teleological solution, Quality Integration, in which the general and specific quality concepts, principles and methodology are embedded within the normal business management activities. Our Quality Integration is based on the thinking of organizational learning. Its framework covers both running the current business and improving the overall business performance. This model has been used as the thinking framework in practical organizational cases since 1990’s. As the business circumstances change constantly, the organization must be constantly ready to renew through both small and radical changes. This change also receives resistance, and the development takes place according to a multi-phase process towards the new integration and requires a proper recognition and decisions. Principles of the organizational learning can help organizations in a consistent way. Evaluation of the overall organizational performance is an important quality management practice and should take into account performance enablers (processes) and also the results obtained thereof. In our approach, the evaluation criteria emphasize organizational learning and integration. The external context of the organization has a crucial role in achieving and developing the business objectives. The organization’s strategy can no longer be based on the value chains but on finding ways to alter them radically through value networking. The organization is influenced by the true and all-inclusive reality, which differs from the apparent reality perceived by the senses, and which is only revealed through consciousness. Understanding this reinforces awareness and trust that are important factors also in quality management and quality assurance.

Proces zarządzania zasobami wiedzy w aspekcie działalności logistycznej przedsiębiorstw z  sektora MŚP jest prezentowany stosunkowo rzadko w  literaturze przedmiotu. Opisy zarządzania wiedzą w procesach logistycznych w przedsiębiorstwach opierają się w głównej mierze na modelach odnoszących się do dużych przedsiębiorstw. Modele zarządzania dużymi przedsiębiorstwami z kolei opierają się na rozbudowanej strukturze organizacyjnej oraz zdefiniowanych wzajemnie powiązanych procesach. Zasoby wiedzy w dużych przedsiębiorstwach składają się z wiedzy ukrytej oraz jawnej, przy czym występuje zjawisko konwersji jednej kategorii wiedzy w drugą. W literaturze przedmiotu brak jest analiz dotyczących istotnych różnic w  zarządzaniu zasobami wiedzy w  działalności logistycznej pomiędzy dużymi firmami a małymi i średnimi przedsiębiorstwami. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest prezentacja badań własnych dotyczących procesu zarządzania wiedzą w działalności logistycznej w sektorze MŚP. W pracy sformułowano problemy badawcze, które zostały przeanalizowane na podstawie badań prowadzonych w latach 2015-2016 wśród 50 małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw z województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego, łódzkiego oraz mazowieckiego. W  artykule przedstawiono wyniki badania typu case study. Na podstawie wyników badań sformułowano założenia do modelu zarządzania wiedzą w działalności logistycznej w badanych przedsiębiorstwach.
Process of Knowledge Management (KM) in logistic activity of SMEs is presented not so often in literature of the subject. Description of knowledge management in SMEs are mostly based on models appropriate for big enterprises. Models of management of big enterprise in turn are based on elaborate organisational structure and defined interlinked processes. Knowledge resources in big enterprises are composed of hidden knowledge and open knowledge and there is the phenomena of conversion of one category into another. There is a lack of description of differences between Knowledge Management (KM) in big enterprises and SMEs. The goal of the article is to present the results of own research. Discussed are the results of studies conducted in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Łódzkie, and Mazowieckie voivodeship on knowledge management process in logistics activity in SMEs in 2010-2016. The article analyses the results of case study research from 50 SMEs. The following methods were used: questionnaire survey, interview, discussion with experts, case study method. Based on research results, assumptions for a model of knowledge management in logistic activities of studied SMEs were made.

The real step in solving these problems consists of creating an information and educational e-environment, using open learning, and providing an open access to educational resources. For this purpose, in the system of e-learning of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, an electronic training course “Design and expertise of information and educational e-environment” (available online: http://e-learning.kubg.edu.ua/course/view.php?id=2741) was developed.

The issue of regulation of a learning management system (LMS) at the state level of Ukraine is considered in the article. Types and interpretations of electronic educational resources that can be used in distance education are pointed out. The Moodle environment, as an example of one of successful learning management systems, is considered. In particular, the article contains a list of roles that can be shared by users of a learning management system. The general structure of an e-learning course, which can be used by educational institutions, is also proposed.

Opis:
Gamifikacja jako forma wzbudzania motywacji wewnętrznej poprzez wykorzystanie elementów zaczerpniętych z gier cieszy się coraz większym zainteresowaniem instytucji edukacyjnych i nauczycieli. Jednak pomimo iż wzrasta liczba dostępnych podręczników gamifikacji, to jej praktyczna implementacja nadal wymaga znaczących nakładów sił i środków. Choć popularne systemy zarządzania nauczaniem udostępniają już moduły pozwalające na wprowadzanie do kursów elementów gamifikacji, ich wykorzystanie jest pracochłonne, a możliwości nader ograniczone. Rozwiązaniem jest wykorzystanie systemu zarządzania nauczaniem, w którym gamifikację uwzględniono już na etapie projektowania, co pozwoli na jej łatwe wykorzystanie przez projektujących i prowadzących kursy. W niniejszym opracowaniu zaproponowano i skonkretyzowano wizję struktury funkcjonalnej takiego systemu.
Gamification, as a form of inducing intrinsic motivation by using elements characteristic for games, is gaining more and more interest in educational institutions and among teachers. Notwithstanding the increasing number of available gamification textbooks, its practical implementation still requires substantial effort on instructor’s behalf. Although the popular Learning Management Systems already provide modules allowing to include gamification elements within the courses, making use of them is labor-intensive, and the range of provided features is very limited. The solution is to use a Learning Management System not only having a wide range of gamification features embedded already at its design stage, but also suitable for easy use by course designers and teachers. This paper proposes a detailed vision of the functional structure of such a system.

Opis:
This paper evaluates the affordability of Quipper as an online platform for teaching and learning English as a foreign language (EFL). It focuses on the extent to which features available in Quipper may correspond to fundamental components of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) pedagogy, as suggested by Chapelle (2003), including L2-input exposure, interaction and linguistic production. The evaluation results indicate that Quipper is affordable for use as an online teaching and learning EFL platform. More importantly, it corresponds to the three conditions of CALL pedagogy, thus making it a potential aid for activities used in teaching and learning foreign language.
