Opis:
In this article, the authors mentioned the function of short-recoil-operated weapons with a vertical sliding-wedge breechblock. The dynamic simulation was conducted and then the results were compared with the corresponding experimental data to verify reliability of the model. The model is calculated and tested out on the 37 mm twin anti-aircraft gun. Besides, the article presents the effect of some structural parameters on functionality of the automatic weapon. The reported results are an important theoretical basis to determine the rate of fire and the forces acting on the guns. The movement of the breechblock also affects stability of the weapon and can therefore be used to a math model or to simulate the movement of the weapon. Calculated and verified data could be used for the design of an automatic firing system as well as for solving vibration on automatic guns when burst firing.

Opis:
In this paper, Lagrange’s equations along with the Ritz method are used to obtain equation of motion for a flexible, slender cylinder subjected to axial flow. The cylinder is supported only by a translational and a rotational spring at the upstream end, and at the free end, it is terminated by a tapering end-piece. The equation of motion is solved numerically for a system in which the translational spring is infinitely stiff, thus acting as a pin, while the stiffness of the rotational spring is generally non-zero. The dynamics of such a system with the rotational spring of an average stiffness is described briefly. Moreover, the effects of the length of the cylinder and the shape of the end-piece on the critical flow velocities and the modal shapes of the unstable modes are investigated.
W pracy zastosowano równania Lagrange’a i metodę Ritza by uzyskać równania ruchu giętkiego, smukłego cylindra poddanego działaniu przepływu osiowego.

We study incommensurate fractional variational problems in terms of a generalized fractional integral with Lagrangians depending on classical derivatives and generalized fractional integrals and derivatives. We obtain necessary optimality conditions for the basic and isoperimetric problems, transversality conditions for free boundary value problems, and a generalized Noether type theorem.

Opis:
Purpose: The present paper is intended to investigate the problem of linear and non-linear longitudinal free vibration of uniform rods and rods whose cross-sections vary exponentially at large vibration amplitudes. Design/methodology/approach: The method adopted consists in discretizing the energy term on linear kij and non-linear rigidity tensor bijkl, as well as the mass tensor mij. Therefore, the formulation of this structure is based on Lagrange equations and the harmonic balance method so as to obtain the nonlinear algebraic equations. These latter are solved numerically and analytically through the explicit and linearized method. Findings: The response of Clamped-Clamped uniform and non-uniform rods on our structure are highlighted in the amplitude frequency and associated first three mode shapes. Moreover, this research leads to study the influence of the exponential slope on the maximum displacement, thus emphasizing the non-uniform bars usefulness. The obtained results are then compared with the available literature with a view to validating this theory. Research limitations/implications: As a perspective, the method used in this paper would be pushed to study the FDM material, taking into account other parameters related to additive manufacturing, and later to be validated experimentally. Practical implications: Longitudinal vibrations are important in mechanical structures; therefore, the determination of their dynamic behaviour needs to be understood. In the present study, the effect of the displacement amplitude on the exponential slope of the structure was analysed, which led to the determination of the reduction range of the vibration amplitude under resonance. However, this should be taken into account in the design process. Besides, the usefulness of the non-linearity geometric effects was demonstrated to examine these structures by considering all the parameters involved. Originality/value: A linearized procedure is used to solve a nonlinear algebra equation. The use of this method leads to reduce calculation time contrary to iterative methods.

Opis:
The paper deals with a single-phase reluctance motor used to test the motion equations of an electromechanical system. The identification of the motor electric parameters as a function of the rotation angle of the rotor was carried out using AC 50 Hz voltage source. A mechanical part of the system was designed as a physical pendulum containing the motor rotor and a metal bar mounted on the rotor axis. The parameters of the mechanical part were measured during the pendulum oscillations. The work presents the characteristics and motion equation parameters of the motor dynamics. The reluctance motor motion equation does not fullfil the power balance. The parameters of the motion equations obtained from the experiment and from the second order Lagrange’a equations are compared. The derivation of motion equation, together with a discussion of holonomicity of electromechanical systems is also presented.

Opis:
The geometry dynamical modeling method for a double pendulum is explored with the Lie group and a double spherical space method. Four types of Lagrange equations are built for relative and absolute motion with the above two geometry methods, which are then used to explore the influence of different expressions for motion on the dynamic modeling and computations. With Legendre transformation, the Lagrange equations are transformed to Hamilton ones which are dynamical models greatly reduced. The models are solved by the same numerical method. The simulation results show that they are better for the relative group than for the absolute one in long time simulation with the same numerical computations. The Lie group based result is better than the double spherical space one.

Opis:
The problems of optimization for nonlinear programming (NLP) with constraints inequalities are considered. Definition of condition-indicator as quantitative criterion of the properties of Lagrange function is justified. Application of indicator to increasing degree of completeness for system in NLP for finance and business problems with constraints inequalities are obtained. The new Lagrange function with square of each component of vector Lagrange multipliers for nonlinear objective function simultaneously with criterion-indicator as a source of additional equations is investigated. The conditions, in which the dimensionality of the vector of strategies and the number of constraints doesn’t effects on the uniqueness of the optimization problem solution is received and discussed.
