This article describes new method of insulation monitoring for de-energized devices. Many loads such as extinguisher pumps, emergency supply units, slide valve drives, antismoke lids, motors for pumps etc. are switch on only occasionally or works sequentially so during the shut- down periods the insulation faults may cause. Switching the device on may then lead to the tripping of the protective devices, that's why insulation monitoring turn out to be unnecessary.

Efekt ROPO (Research On-line Purchase Off-line) charakteryzuje zachowania nabywcze, w których konsumenci po wyszukaniu informacji o produktach w internecie dokonują ich zakupu w placówkach stacjonarnych. Rozwój efektu ROPO związany jest z wirtualizacją działalności handlowej i usługowej (dostępu do informacji o ofercie handlowej i usługowej w internecie), jak również ze wzrostem zainteresowania konsumentów poszukiwaniem informacji w internecie (również dokonywaniem zakupów on-line). W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań desk research dotyczących uwarunkowań rozwoju efektu ROPO w Polsce oraz wyniki badań field research przeprowadzonych na ogólnopolskiej próbie konsumentów, dokonujących zakupów dóbr i usług konsumpcyjnych.
ROPO effect (Research On-line Purchase Off-line) is characterized by purchasing behavior in which consumers are searching Internet for product information and make their purchase in stores. Development ROPO effect is a results of virtualization commercial and service activities (access to information about product on the Internet), as well as of an increase in consumer interest in searching Internet for information (as well as making purchases online). In the article presents desk research results concerning development conditions ROPO effect in Poland and field research conducted on a sample of consumers who purchase consumer goods and services.

We prove several results about the structure of 2-factors in iterated line graphs. Specifically, we give degree conditions on G that ensure L²(G) contains a 2-factor with every possible number of cycles, and we give a sufficient condition for the existence of a 2-factor in L²(G) with all cycle lengths specified. We also give a characterization of the graphs G where $L^k(G)$ contains a 2-factor.

Opis:
The purpose of the article is to present the current state of development of on-line services in retail banking and to discuss their future development. It covers a high level analysis of functional morphology of on-line banking in view of historical banking channel development. The final study provides a view on key strategies that can be used in the future to foster further development of on-line business models. The strategies are divided into organic growth, partnerships/intermediation and accelerated growth. Concluding remarks point out the leading role of banks in the digitalization of economic systems and support for e-government. They also emphasize the potential for further development of on-line banking towards universal service platforms which provide a secure environment for execution of auditable business transactions between known parties.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie obecnego stanu rozwoju usług on-line w bankowości detalicznej oraz dyskusja ich dalszego rozwoju. Artykuł obejmuje ogólną analizę morfologii funkcjonalnej bankowości on-line w kontekście historycznego rozwoju kanałów w bankowości. Strategie podzielone są na wzrost organiczny, partnerstwo/pośrednictwo oraz przyśpieszony wzrost. W zakończeniu jest wskazana wiodąca rola banków w digitalizacji systemu ekonomicznego oraz wsparcia usług e-administracji (e-government). Podkreślono również potencjał do dalszego rozwoju bankowości on-line w kierunku uniwersalnych platform usługowych, które zapewniają bezpieczne środowisko do realizowania audytowalnych transakcji biznesowych pomiędzy znanymi stronami.

In Mexico, Solanum rostratum has been employed for the treatment of several diseases, including uterine cancer. The aim of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic activity of extracts of Solanum rostratum Dunal on MDA and SiHa cell lines. The methanolic, ethyl acetate, and hexane extracts of the aerial parts of Solanum rostratum were tested for phenols concentration, antioxidant activity, and anti-carcinogenic effect. The leaves extracts showed the highest content of phenols; however the flower-fruits extracts showed higher scavenging activity. On the other hand, ethyl acetate extracts exhibited the highest anti-carcinogenic effect, while methanolic extracts showed the least effect. The results of this work indicated that Solanum rostratum is a promising source of antioxidants, and the extracts exert a dose-dependent anti-carcinogenic effect on both cell lines.

Mija właśnie 20 lat, od kiedy oddano do użytku warszawiaków pierwsze stacje metra, środka transportu, który znacząco wpłynął na sposób przemieszczania się mieszkańców stolicy. Jest to dobra okazja, aby przypomnieć jak powstawało warszawskie metro i przybliżyć tajniki jego funkcjonowania. Warszawski system kolei podziemnej składa się z dwóch linii: M1 i centralnego odcinka M2. Chociaż warszawskie metro ma tylko i aż 20 lat, to pierwsza uchwała o jego budowie została podjęta już w 1925 roku. Niestety, kryzys oraz wybuch II wojny światowej zniweczył plany budowy, do których powrócono w 1951 roku. Jednak i tym razem inwestycja nie została zakończona – budowę zarzucono w 1957. Dopiero w roku 1983 na mocy rządowej uchwały budowa metra ruszyła ponownie. Pierwsze stacje linii M1 oddano do użytku w 1995 roku, a budowa całości pierwszej linii zakończyła się trzynaście lat później. W 2010 roku rozpoczęto budowę centralnego odcinka drugiej linii przebiegającej pod Wisłą. Prace ukończono w 2015 roku. Obecnie z komunikacji podziemnej korzysta około 500 tys. pasażerów dziennie, uznając ją za najszybszy i najwygodniejszy sposób przemieszczania się po stolicy, a władze spółki Metro Warszawskie widząc ogromne zainteresowanie tym środkiem transportu, dokładają wszelkich starań, by ciągle podnosić komfort i bezpieczeństwo jazdy pasażerów.
It has been already 20 years since the first Warsaw metro stations have been opened. This mean of transport has brought significant changes in travelling in the capital for its residents. It is a good opportunity to remind the origin of construction of the Warsaw subway and present details of its functioning. The Warsaw underground rail system consists of two lines: M1 and the central section of the M2. Although the Warsaw subway has only or as much as 20 years, first decision of its construction was taken already in 1925. Unfortunately, the crisis and outbreak of the Second World War blighted the building plans, which came back in 1951. However, again the investment has not been completed – construction was given up in 1957. It was only in 1983 when, on the basis of the resolution of the national government, the subway’s construction started again. The first stations of the M1 line were put into use in 1995, and the construction of the entire first line was completed thirteen years later. The construction of the central section of the second line M2, running under the Vistula river started in 2010. The work has been completed in 2015. Nowadays, around 500 000 passengers use daily an underground communication, considering it as the fastest and most convenient way of travelling around the capital. Taking into consideration a great interest in this mean of communication, the authorities of Warsaw Metro work very hard to continuously enhance comfort and safety of passengers.

The paper presents selected issues of overhead electrical power lines of medium voltage MV. The paper discusses the construction of overhead electrical power lines. Described in detail the support structures of the line. Mainly discusses the accessory items, such as: transmission towers, insulators, handles, hooks, covers and clamps. The arcing protection devices are also described. The paper presents own photographs, made by the authors, depicting the individual, real elements of the MV line.

The infimum of the least eigenvalues of all finite induced subgraphs of an infinite graph is defined to be its least eigenvalue. In [P.J. Cameron, J.M. Goethals, J.J. Seidel and E.E. Shult, Line graphs, root systems, and elliptic geometry, J. Algebra 43 (1976) 305-327], the class of all finite graphs whose least eigenvalues ≥ −2 has been classified: (1) If a (finite) graph is connected and its least eigenvalue is at least −2, then either it is a generalized line graph or it is represented by the root system E8. In [A. Torgašev, A note on infinite generalized line graphs, in: Proceedings of the Fourth Yugoslav Seminar on Graph Theory, Novi Sad, 1983 (Univ. Novi Sad, 1984) 291- 297], it has been found that (2) any countably infinite connected graph with least eigenvalue ≥ −2 is a generalized line graph. In this article, the family of all generalized line graphs-countable and uncountable-is described algebraically and characterized structurally and an extension of (1) which subsumes (2) is derived.

W artykule opisano wykorzystanie rezonansu zachodzącego w kryształach posiadających własności piezoelektryczne do wykrywania bardzo małych zmian masy zachodzących w małych obiektach biologicznych. Przedstawiono zasadę działania czujnika opartego na tym zjawisko oraz wyniki pomiarów zmian masy próbki powodowane rozwojem kultury drożdży. Omawiana metoda pomiarowa służy do konstrukcji systemów pomiarowych on-line i at-line, które znajdują coraz większe zastosowanie w przemyśle rolno-spożywczym.
The article describes the use of resonance occurring in crystals possessing piezoelectric properties to detect very small mass changes taking place in small biological objects. The work presents operation principle for a sensor based on this phenomenon, and measurement results for changes in sample mass due to yeast culture growth. The discussed measurement method is used to design online and at-line measurement systems, which find more and more applications in agricultural and food industry.

A signed graph (or sigraph for short) is an ordered pair S = (Su,σ), where Su is a graph, G = (V,E), called the underlying graph of S and σ : E → {+,−} is a function from the edge set E of Su into the set {+,−}. For a sigraph S its •-line sigraph, L•(S) is the sigraph in which the edges of S are represented as vertices, two of these vertices are defined adjacent whenever the corresponding edges in S have a vertex in common, any such L-edge ee′ has the sign given by the product of the signs of the edges incident with the vertex in e ∩ e′. In this paper we establish a structural characterization of •-line sigraphs, extending a well known characterization of line graphs due to Harary. Further we study several standard properties of •-line sigraphs, such as the balanced •-line sigraphs, sign-compatible •-line sigraphs and C-sign-compatible •-line sigraphs.

The article has presented comparative tests of the rheological characteristics of lowdensity polyethylene (LDPE) with an addition of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), containing 7, 14, 21 and 28 wt % of filler, respectively. The measurements were carried out by an off -line measuring technique (using a modified dead-weight plastometer), an on-line measuring technique (with a gear pump capillary rheometer) and an in-line measuring technique (with an extruder rheometer). The rheological parameters of the polymeric materials were determined based on the Ostwald de Waele powerlaw model at a temperature of 170 °C. The effect of calcium carbonate addition on the characteristic of operation of each of the employed instruments, the flow curves, the viscosity curves, and the values of power-law index (n) and consistency factor (K) have been determined.
Przedstawiono badania porównawcze charakterystyk reologicznych kompozytów polietylenu małej gęstości (LDPE) z dodatkiem 7, 14, 21 i 28 % mas. węglanu wapnia (CaCO3). Zastosowano techniki pomiarowe typu off-line (zmodyfikowany plastometr obciążnikowy), on-line (reometr kapilarny z pompą zębatą) oraz in-line (reometr wytłaczarkowy). Parametry reologiczne materiałów polimerowych wyznaczano w temperaturze170 °C na podstawie modelu potęgowego Ostwalda-de-Waele. Określano wpływ dodatku węglanu wapnia na charakterystykę pracy każdego z zastosowanych urządzeń, przebieg krzywych płynięcia, przebieg krzywych lepkości oraz wartości wykładnika płynięcia (n) i współczynnika konsystencji (K).

W odprowadzaniu do ziemi prądu zwarciowego lub piorunowego biorą udział elementy uziomu sztucznego słupa oraz jego fundamenty. Podczas pomiarów kontrolnych rezystancji lub impedancji takich uziemień powinny być uwzględniane oba elementy uziemienia. Ponadto procedura pomiarowa musi brać pod uwagę fakt, że uziemienia słupów linii są połączone równolegle poprzez przewody odgromowe. W artykule została omówiona problematyka pomiaru i oceny właściwości uziemień słupów linii elektroenergetycznych z wykorzystaniem przebiegów wolno- i szybkozmiennych. Pomiary rezystancji uziemień słupów przy użyciu mierników stosujących częstotliwości zbliżone do sieciowych są uciążliwe i pracochłonne. Wpływ uziemień sąsiednich słupów może być zredukowany poprzez wykorzystanie impedancji falowej przewodów odgromowych przy przebiegach wysokiej częstotliwości lub udarowych. W wyniku porównania obu metod opartych na przebiegach szybkozmiennych okazuje się, że mierniki udarowe są znacznie bardziej odporne na zakłócenia wywołane polem elektromagnetycznym linii. W pracy został przeanalizowany wpływ czasu czoła udaru oraz długości przęsła linii na błędy popełniane podczas pomiarów z zastosowaniem mierników udarowych.

Opis:
Power system state estimation is a process of real-time online modeling of an electric power system. The estimation is performed with the application of a static model of the system and current measurements of electrical quantities that are encumbered with an error. Usually, a model of the estimated system is also encumbered with an uncertainty, especially power line resistances that depend on the temperature of conductors. At present, a considerable development of technologies for dynamic power line rating can be observed. Typically, devices for dynamic line rating are installed directly on the conductors and measure basic electric parameters such as the current and voltage as well as non-electric ones as the surface temperature of conductors, their expansion, stress or the conductor sag angle relative to the plumb line. The objective of this paper is to present a method for power system state estimation that uses temperature measurements of overhead line conductors as supplementary measurements that enhance the model quality and thereby the estimation accuracy. Power system state estimation is presented together with a method of using the temperature measurements of power line conductors for updating the static power system model in the state estimation process. The results obtained with that method have been analyzed based on the estimation calculations performed for an example system - with and without taking into account the conductor temperature measurements. The final part of the article includes conclusions and suggestions for the further research.

Opis:
The ultrastructure of two lines of nonmorphogenic Plantago asiatica callus was compared. The ultrastructure of most organelles of cream-coloured and green-coloured lines of these callus lines was similar. Among the plastides no difference in prevalence and composition of proplastides and amyloplasts was observed. The main difference lies in the presence of chlororoplasts in green callus. The phenomena of vacuolisation and tracheogenesis in both lines were found.
