Opis:: The paper discusses technological solutions that are used to organize communication between technical devices within the electrical substation area. Design and operation of presently used supervision and control systems are based on various communication solutions. Ever growing standards concerning the required quantity of data and their transmission rate induce a search for new solutions. The paper presents new concepts of LAN-based data exchange and an equipment that can be applied to develop SCADA systems using that technology. An example physical model of communication has been used to present a configuration of devices that form a frame of the network and remote control elements that use it.

Opis:: Contention-based MAC protocols for wireless ad hoc LANs rely on random deferment of packet transmissions to avoid collisions. By selfishly modifying the probabilities of deferments greedy stations can grab more bandwidth than regular stations that apply standard-prescribed probabilities. To discourage such misbehaviour we propose a protocol called RT-hash whereby the winner of a contention is determined using a public hash function of the channel feedback. RT-hash is effective in a full hearability topology, assuming that improper timing of control frames is detectable and that greedy stations do not resort to malicious actions. Simulation experiments show that RT-hash protects regular stations' bandwidth share against various sophisticated greedy strategies of deferment selection; as such it may contribute to MAC-layer network security.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono schemat oprogramowania do nadzoru i sterowania urządzeniami pracującymi w gospodarstwie rolniczym. Program umożliwia modyfikację danych wejściowych z komputera w danym gospodarstwie a wraz ze współpracującą stroną www. z dowolnego komputera podłączonego do lokalnej lub globalnej sieci. Działanie programu przetestowano na urządzeniach utrzymujących zadany poziom cieczy w zbiorniku.
The paper presents flowchart of software for supervision and control of equipment working in a farm. The application allows to modify input data from computer in a given farm, and via cooperating Web page - from any computer connected to local or global network. The application operation was tested on equipment maintaining preset liquid level in a tank.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono propozycję dedykowanego stanowiska laboratoryjnego, w którym z wykorzystaniem technologii internetowych i sieci komputerowej można diagnozować, za pomocą optycznych czujników przemieszczeń, jakość połączeń spawanych w płytach stalowych. W ramach ćwiczenia przedstawiono również możliwości analizy otrzymanych danych wibrodiagnostycznych w dziedzinie czasu i częstotliwości. Opisane w pracy ćwiczenie, na tle innych - realizowanych na kierunku mechanicznym w Akademii Morskiej w Gdyni, cechuje się przede wszystkim tym, że pozwala studentom w sposób zdalny i z wykorzystaniem technologii informatycznych rejestrować, analizować i diagnozować układy mechaniczne metodą wibrodiagnostyczną.
In the paper there is presented a proposition of dedicated laboratory station in which, with usage of internet technologies and computer network, quality of welding joins in steel plates can be diagnosed by laser displacement sensors. As part of the exercise, options of analysis the received vibrodiagnostic data in the domain of time and frequency were presented. The exercise described in the work, against the background of others - the ones carried out in the mechanical department, is primarily characterized by the fact that it can help students - with usage of the informatic technologies - register, analyze and diagnose mechanical systems in the remote way by vibrodiagnostic method.

Opis:: This paper presents comparison of prototype location system built with standard components of 2.4 and 5 GHz WLAN network infrastructure. The system can be used for personal or other objects’ positioning, both for indoor and outdoor environments. The system is local, i.e. its operational area is limited to WLAN network operating range. The system is based on standard and widely available WLAN components (access points, network adapters). The goal is to avoid any hardware and software modifications. Also position calculation should not be power hungry operation. Method of location is based in Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) returned by most of RF ICs (including WLAN). The main focus is research of how much accuracy (and usefulness) can be expected from standard WLAN hardware. Both static and dynamic scenarios have been tested and compared.

We have proposed an Industrial Monitoring System utilizing XAMPP server and detecting based applications for web of things. In this paper we use detecting gadgets to check diverse parameters like creation tally, brightening force, control utilization, relative mugginess and temperature of room.

Opis:: A compact planar antenna for multisystem ap- plications has been designed and manufactured. A modified feeding method has been used to meet the requirements of modern telecommunications devices. It has been shown, that by adjusting the size of the rings, required allocation of bands is possible. The proposed antenna is suitable for ISM band devices and gives perspectives for multi-standard operation. The antenna has been simulated using MoM 2.5D software Zeland IE3D, next fabricated and measured.

Opis:: W referacie przedstawiono rozwiązania techniczne wykorzystywane do organizacji komunikacji pomiędzy urządzeniami technicznymi w obrębie stacji elektroenergetycznej. Praca współczesnych systemów sterowania i nadzoru oparta jest na różnych rozwiązaniach komunikacyjnych, które wykorzystywane były do ich tworzenia. Wzrost wymagań co do ilości danych oraz szybkości przekazywania informacji sprawił, że zaczęto poszukiwać nowych rozwiązań. W artykule zaprezentowane zostaną nowe standardy wymiany danych oparte na sieciach LAN oraz urządzenia, które mogą być zastosowane do tworzenia układów SCADA opartych na tej technologii. Na przykładzie fizycznego modelu komunikacyjnego zaprezentowana zostanie konfiguracja urządzeń tworzących szkielet sieci oraz korzystających z niego elementów telemechaniki.

Opis:: The article presents a non-destructive welded joints assessment (vibrodiagnostics) method, in which, with the use of the Internet, computer networking technologies and laser displacement sensors, the quality of welded steel plates may be monitored. The article also describes the possibilities of analysis of received vibrodiagnostics data on the base of diagnostic parameters analysed in function of time and frequency. The method described in the article allows remotely registering, analysing and diagnosing mechanical systems using vibrodiagnostics and information technologies. Modern, computerized methods exhibit efficiency and reliability of results – they are currently the best measuring tools that can be used in automatic monitoring (structural health monitoring - SHM) of marine structures. It is essential to make objective assessment of the results by NDT users, which is tightly connected with the expertise of norms and regulations of NDT. It may be helpful in this respect to monitor responses from a few sensors, arranged in a few measuring points. NDT results quite often trigger further analysis of durability of an object. The NDT of welded joints method as presented in the article allows remotely and in an IT-aided way analysing and diagnosing mechanical systems with the use of vibrodiagnostics method.

Opis:: In this paper, we propose a simple but efficient method for improving correlation properties of polyphase spreading sequences for asynchronous direct sequence code division multiple access (DS CDMA) applications. The proposed method can be used to reduce the mean square value of aperiodic crosscorrelation or the mean square value of aperiodic autocorrelation, the maximum value of aperiodic crosscorrelation functions, merit factor or other properties of the sequence set. The important feature of the method is that while it modifies correlation properties of the sequence set, it preserves sequence orthogonality for perfect synchronization, if this is the property of the original sequence set.

Opis:: The family of 802.11 standards introduced by IEEE is undeniably the most popular technology for wireless local area networks (WLANs). 802.11-based products marketed under the Wi-Fi banner are present in many homes, offices and public buildings. Since Wi-Fi networks operate in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, they are exposed to high level of extraneous RF signals coming both from neighboring Wi-Fi networks and other sources. The problem is especially acute in the most crowded 2.4 GHz band. In offi ce buildings with centralized networks, the problem of interferences might be alleviated by a careful network planning. However, such an approach is typically not applicable to blocks of flats where plenty of independent Wi-Fi networks coexist on a relatively small area. In this paper, the application of 5 GHz Wi-Fi in small home networks is considered as a remedy for the above-mentioned problem. Results of measurements performed in an urban environment suggest that when a router and a mobile station are located at the same floor, the 5 GHz Wi-Fi might become an attractive alternative for its 2.4 GHz counterpart.
Rodzina standardów 802.11, wprowadzonych przez organizację IEEE, stanowi niewątpliwie najpopularniejszą technologię dla lokalnych sieci bezprzewodowych WLAN. Produkty oparte na standardach z rodziny 802.11 i opatrzone logo Wi-Fi są obecne w wielu domach, biurach i budynkach użyteczności publicznej. Sieci Wi-Fi operują w nielicencjonowanych pasmach o częstotliwościach 2.4 i 5 GHz i z tego względu są narażone na wysoki poziom obcych sygnałów radiowych, pochodzących zarówno z sąsiednich sieci Wi-Fi jak i innych źródeł. Zjawisko to jest szczególnie dokuczliwe w intensywnie wykorzystywanym paśmie 2.4 GHz. W budynkach biurowych, z centralnie zarządzanymi sieciami Wi-Fi, problem może zostać złagodzony dzięki starannemu planowaniu sieci. Takie podejście nie jest jednak na ogół możliwe w blokach mieszkalnych, w których na stosunkowo niewielkim obszarze współistnieje wiele niezależnych sieci Wi-Fi. W niniejszym artykule rozważono zastosowanie sieci Wi-Fi pracującej w paśmie 5 GHz w małych sieciach domowych jako potencjalnego sposobu rozwiązania wyżej wspomnianego problemu. Uzyskane wyniki pomiarów przeprowadzonych w środowisku miejskim sugerują, że o ile router i stacja mobilna znajdują się na tym samym piętrze, to częstotliwość 5 GHz może stanowić atrakcyjną alternatywę dla pasma 2.4 GHz.

Opis:: The attractiveness of real-time multimedia communication as part of an e-learning platform largely depends on the quality of the telecommunications infrastructure and on theservices that support the exchange of audiovisual data. The research subject of this workis communication between stationary and mobile devices using distributed services such as Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) running in HTML5 compliant web browsers. The test connections were carried out in a peer-to-peer architecture over a local wireless WiFi network and a mobile network supporting the Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard for data interchange. Several audiovisual sessions between two clients were analyzed for different connection scenarios. Parameters responsible for the transmission quality, such as delay, jitter,packet loss, or the speed of sending and receiving video frames were measured for each scenario. Open audiovisual communication system performance experiments were conducted under real operating conditions. The obtained results indicated potential applications in the development of e-learning websites.
