    Opis:
    Przedstawiono wyniki badań wpływu natężeń przepływu wody i powietrza na opory przepływu oraz średnice kropel w mieszalniku wielosekcyjnym typu KMS. Stwierdzono, iż spadek ciśnienia w mieszalniku statycznym typu KMS jest ponad 100-krotnie większy niż w pustej rurze o tych samych parametrach. Pęcherzyki gazu w kolejnych sekcjach mieszalnika, przy określonych parametrach przepływu medium są coraz mniejsze, ale zwiększa się ich liczebność. Im większe natężenie przepływu cieczy przy stałym natężeniu przepływu gazu, tym średnica pęcherzyków w sekcji wylotowej mieszalnika jest mniejsza. Kształt pęcherzyków gazu wzdłuż mieszalnika ulega deformacji osiągając kolejno kształt grzyba i elipsoidy, a ostatecznie kulisty, który zachowują tylko pęcherzyki o małych wymiarach.
    Results of water and air rates effect on flow resistance and drop diameters in the multisectional KMS mixer are presented in the paper. It is shown that pressure drop in the static mixer tested is more than 100 times greater comparing to the empty tube of the same parameters. Gas bubbles in the subsequent mixer sections for unchanged media flow parameters are smaller but their quantity rises. For constant gas flow rate, the increase of liquid rate causes the decrease of bubble diameter in the outlet section. As a distance from the tube inlet increases the bubbles are deformed taking shapes of fungus, ellipsoid and finally spherical. The last one was observed only for small bubbles.

    Knowledge constitutes a wide and complex matter which has provided a definition for the epistemological dispute in the philosophy of the West since the times of the classical Greek era. Nonetheless, in the recent years, great interest has occurred in approaching knowledge as an important organizational resource. The increased interest in organizational knowledge and knowledge management originates from the conversion into the area of knowledge economy, in which it is perceived as the primary source of the creation of value and sustainable competitive advantage. Knowledge Management (KM) constitutes an integral part of the business world in contemporary times. This can be seen at a time of analyzing the modern literature of business, management, technology as well as organization. This worker views and interprets KM literature in enterprises. The main aim of the research is to summarize literature on the subject of Knowledge Management (KM) and to get the sense of the primary concepts/common terms, conventional definitions in the area of knowledge and Knowledge Management (KM).This work constitutes a profound overview on the process of the management of organizational knowledge with great focus put on the possible part of IT in the different phases of the process of knowledge management. The author chose this subject as not much research has been carried out to analyze this side of KM.

    Opis:
    Creating knowledge management systems (KMS) is a vital factor in the competitiveness of organizations. Therefore, we have viewed the concept of KMS from the position of its impact on the economic results of the company and the inclusion of innovative components in KMS according to the following blocks: knowledge preservation, search for knowledge in special networks, providing conditions for new knowledge generation, knowledge sharing training. As the analysis showed, in temporary transition economies the level of implementation of the traditional components of KMS is on average slightly more than 50%. Innovative components are used less – the highest level is 48% (for element “Search for knowledge in special networks”). Only 12% of the sampled companies have all the features typical for the system in their activity on knowledge management. However, the companies which developed more KMS components are characterized by higher profitability and ratio between the average monthly wage at the enterprise and in the sector. The identified issues related to slow implementation of KMS in the enterprises within transition economies are mainly caused by insufficient awareness regarding the KMS benefits and the possibility of their use as core factor to facilitate asset growth and to enhance human capital reproduction.
    Artykuł prezentuje koncepcję, żę tworzenie systemów zarządzania wiedzą (SZW) jest istotnym czynnikiem konkurencyjności organizacji. Dlatego też dokonano w nim przeglądu SZW z punktu widzenia jego wpływu na wyniki ekonomiczne firmy oraz włączenie innowacyjnych komponentów SZW takich, jak: utrzymanie wiedzy, poszukiwanie wiedzy w specjalnych sieciach, zapewnienie warunków dla nowego generowania wiedzy, szkolenie dzielenia się wiedzą. Jak wykazała analiza, w gospodarkach będących w fazie transformacji poziom realizacji tradycyjnych składników SZW wynosi średnio nieco ponad 50%. Innowacyjne składniki stosowane są rzadziej – najwyższy poziom to 48% (dla elementu "Szukanie wiedzy w sieciach specjalnych"). Zaledwie 12% przedsiębiorstw objętych próbą posiada w swojej działalności wszystkie cechy typowe dla systemu związanego z zarządzaniem wiedzą. Zidentyfikowane problemy związane z powolną implementacją SZW w przedsiębiorstwach w gospodarkach okresu transformacji.

    Paper deals with problems of KMS (Key Management System), which is developed in mobile communications GSM-R (Global System Mobile for Railway) recommended within the European Train Control System (ETCS), through the Euroradio system. Th e main part is oriented to safety procedures description of off-line KMS system between communication entities of ETCS system. In the experimental part the results of computational safety of modifi ed DES algorithm are summarised using special brute force attack to key – birthday paradox.
