Opis:: Artykuł jest poświęcony publikacjom bp. Jerzego Mazura, które ukazały się w miesięczniku „Martyria” w latach 2003-2023. Zawiera on pełny wykaz tekstów biskupa, ich uporządkowanie wedle rodzajów tekstów oraz analizę zgromadzonego materiału. Informuje także o stopniu sprawowania władzy biskupiej poprzez działalność pisarską i publikacyjną. Na skutek uporządkowania materiałów, których łącznie jest 157, wyróżniono i omówiono dziewięć rodzajów tekstów: homilie, listy, słowo pasterskie, słowo podczas Mszy, wywiady, komunikaty i informacje, dekrety, zaproszenia i zapowiedzi wydarzeń oraz życzenia.
The article is devoted to the publications of Bishop Jerzy Mazur, which were published in the monthly „Martyria” in 2003-2023. It contains a full list of the bishop’s texts, their arrangement according to text types and an analysis of the collected material. It also informs about the degree of Episcopal authority exercised through writing and publishing activities. As a result of organizing the materials, which number 157 in total, nine types of texts were distinguished and discussed: homilies, letters, pastoral word, word during the Mass, interviews, messages and information, decrees, invitations and announcements of events, and wishes.

The author of the article focuses on the theological and ecclesial view of missions ad gentes and the activities of Bishop Jerzy Mazur SVD in the Polish Episcopal Commission for Missions in 2011-2021. His commitment and multitude of pastoral initiatives contributed to renewing the missionary zeal of the Church in Poland. It also presents the vision of mission represented by Bishop Mazur, who promoted the conciliar view on understanding the issues of mission. Discusses the role of the laity in the missionary work of the Church, the integration of missionary environments, the media and writing achievements of Jerzy Mazur, and the intellectual, spiritual and religious formation of people involved in missions.

Dotyczą one relikwii, pielgrzymek i publikacji na jej temat. Ponadto zostały przybliżone i omówione te aspekty życia Marianny, które wskazują na jej świętość oraz patronowanie poszczególnym osobom i społecznościom (teściowe, wdowy, seniorzy, małżeństwa, oczekujący potomstwa). Artykuł ukazuje także działania biskupa Mazura, które przyczyniły się do promocji kultu bł. Marianny.
The article concerns Bishop Jerzy Mazur SVD, bishop of Ełk, in the aspect of promoting the cult of Blessed Marianna Biernacka. Against the background of the heritage of holiness of the Ełk diocese, it shows the essence and manifestations of the cult of Blessed Marianna both in Leipzig and in parishes in Poland and abroad. They concern relics, pilgrimages and publications about her. In addition, those aspects of Mariannaʼs life that indicate her holiness and patronage of individual people and communities (mothers-in-law, widows, seniors, married couples, those expecting children) were presented and discussed. The article also shows the activities of Bishop Mazur, which contributed to the promotion of the cult of Blessed Marianna.

Opis:: For 10 years, Bishop Jerzy Mazur SVD held the responsible position of the Chairman of the Polish Episcopal Commission for Missions. The authors of the article consider his most important initiatives and achievements as Chairman of this Commission. The article is published in two parts. Part 1 begins (Nurt SVD, no. 1, 2021, p. 8-42) with the presentation of the missionary profile of Bishop Jerzy Mazur. Then, the authors discuss his undertakings aimed at strengthening the mission structures and integrating the mission environment in the Church in Poland. They pay attention to mission animation and formation activities as well as mission cooperation with the Pontifical Mission Societies, religious congregations, diocesan mission groups, foundations, Catholic movements and associations supporting missions. Special place is given to the importance of material and spiritual support of missionaries and assistance for projects carried out in missions. In Part 2, the authors, among other items, present Bishop’s initiatives on mission outreach through media, both print and electronic ones. They also mention initiatives regarding the participatory involvement of laity in missionary service. Finally, they consider two most important events for the mission environment in Poland, namely, the 4th National Mission Congress, prepared and conducted by the Bishop, and the Extraordinary Mission Month.

Opis:: This article presents the literary achievements of doctor priests from the Ełk diocese specializing in biblical theology. It collected publications that were published within twenty-five years from the year the diocese was founded. Fr. Zdzisław Mazur, currently the pastor of the parish St. Bruno in Giżycko. Although he is a biblical theologian by profession, he wrote a significant part of all his works, popularizing the history of the Church, publishing them mainly in the diocesan journal Martyria.
