Opis:: Le choix de notre sujet impose une démarche analytique, qui s'attache successivement à chaque aspect de la réalisation de l'imaginaire du désert. Notre étude s'inscrit dans un cadre topographique qui suggère un parcours, qui s'accompagne, pour les personnages, d'une rupture d'avec leur monde familier, d'une série d'épreuves et d'une résolution ambiguë de la quête. Ces motifs autorisent une interprétation de type initiatique et mystique, le sacré inhérent à toute initiation n'équivalant pas au mysticisme du Sahara. Une fois le schéma fictionnel analysé, nous nous pencherons dans notre deuxième partie sur les symboles que laisse surgir l'espace saharien. Ces symboles procèdent des lieux, appréhendés dans le détail, mais aussi des êtres, car la profondeur de l'imaginaire du désert s'attache à la présence humaine. L'image première de l'espace qu'incarne le désert à bien des égards, constitue un enjeu topographique. Enjeu d'une écriture absolue, idéalement accordée à son objet, mais aussi enjeu d'une écriture de mémoire, qui s'efforce de recueillir les échos d'un espace profondément ancré dans une temporalité spécifique. C'est sur ces perspectives d'un désert créateur, tentation et tentative d'un imaginaire topographique sollicité à l'extrême, que nous conclurons notre étude.

Opis:: The article analyses three different photo-texts of francophone writers: Jean-Philippe Toussaint’s Autoportrait (à l’étranger) (2000), Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio’s L’Africain (2004), Marc Pirlet’s Le Photographe (2006) taking into account the degree of the presence of photography in their structure. Those three writers accomplish both mental and physical travel in purpose to find their origins and to rebuild their identity. The paper analyses the authors’ approach towards the space from the perspective of Marc Augé’s theory (lieu and non-lieu).
Przedmiotem artykułu są trzy fototeksty pisarzy frankofońskich: Autoportrait (à l’étranger) (2000) Jeana-Philippe’a Toussainta, L’Africain (2004) Jeana-Marie Gustave’a Le Clézio i Le photographe (2006) Marca Pirleta, a w szczególności sposób funkcjonowania fotografii w strukturze dzieła literackiego. Toussaint, Le Clézio i Pirlet odbywają podróż fizyczną i mentalną w celu odnalezienia swoich korzeni i ponownego ukonstytuowania własnej tożsamości. W ten sposób tworzą swoje osobiste mapy, które autorka artykułu analizuje posługując się teorią miejsca (lieu) i nie-miejsca (non-lieu) Marca Augégo.
