    This paper addresses issues associated with the global optimization algorithms, which are methods to find optimal solutions for given problems. It focuses on an integrated software environment - global optimization object-oriented library (GOOL), which provides the graphical user interface together with the library of solvers for convex and nonconvex, unconstrained and constrained problems. We describe the design, performance and possible applications of the GOOL system. The practical example - price management problem - is provided to illustrate the effectiveness and range of applications of our software tool.

    Industrial processes’ control systems based on PLC controllers play today a very important role in all fields of transport, including also sea transport. Construction of control systems is the field of engineering, which has been continuously evolving towards maximum simplification of system design path. Up to date the time needed for system construction from the design to commissioning had to be divided into a few stages. A mistake made in an earlier stage caused that in most cases the next stages had to be started anew. Modern software allows for quicker implementation of system design. Available debugging systems allow for defect detection at an early stage of project implementation. Application of additional protective devices will allow for remote diagnosing of the equipment state and introducing changes (depending on authorities granted). The paper presents general characteristic of integrated software for implementation of complex control systems. The issues related to the software use for programming of the visualisation environment, control computer, selection of transmission medium and transmission protocol as well as PLC controllers’ configuration, software and control have been analysed.

    Systemy sterowania procesami przemysłowymi oparte na sterownikach PLC odgrywają w dniu dzisiejszym bardzo dużą rolę, we wszystkich dziedzinach transportu. Budowa systemów sterowania jest dziedziną inżynierii, która ciągle ewoluuje w kierunku maksymalnego uproszczenia ścieżki konstruowania systemu. Czas potrzebny na budowę systemu, od projektu po oddanie do eksploatacji (do dnia dzisiejszego) musiał być podzielony na kilka etapów. Błąd popełniony na wcześniejszym etapie powodował, że kolejne etapy trzeba było w większości przypadków powtarzać. Dostępne systemy debugowania pozwalają na wykrycie usterki we wczesnym stadium realizacji projektu. W artykule przedstawiono ogólną charakterystykę zintegrowanego oprogramowania, do realizacji złożonych systemów sterowania. Przeanalizowano zagadnienia dotyczące wykorzystania oprogramowania do programowania środowiska wizualizacji, komputera sterującego, wyboru medium transmisyjnego oraz protokołu transmisji oraz konfiguracji, oprogramowania i sterowania sterownikami PLC.

    What has been presented in the paper is a research/testing tool used in the Air F orce Institute of Technology (Instytut Techniczny Wojsk Lotniczych - ITWL) to build, actuate, test, and optimise integrated communication systems as far as both a set of devices the system is composed of and the applied software are concerned. Particular attention has been paid to the so-called integration station (built under the Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-24 upgrade project), i.e. the laboratory equipment to optimise and unify communication systems integrated on the basis of digital data buses (following the MIL-1553B standard, among other ones). Such equipment has allowed ITWL to integrate new communication devices/systems while upgrading the W-3PL helicopter. Some selected tasks performed with this equipment engagedhave been discussed. Also, problems arising while actuating and testing the developed software to integrate communication devices/systems (including digitally controlled radio stations of the RRC, HARRIS, and MR6000 types, communication control panels of the PSL-1 type and multi-function displays of the MW-l type) have been given consideration in the scope of the software functionality and reliability. Presented are also additional monitoring and measuring systems used to test this software, just to mention the M230 rugged laptop computer used to diagnose the system and prepare plans of the radio communication.

    There exist numerous models of software architecture (box models, ADL’s, UML, architectural decisions), architecture modelling frameworks (views, enterprise architecture frameworks) and even standards recommending practice for the architectural description. We show in this paper, that there is still a gap between these rather abstract frameworks/standards and existing architecture models. Frameworks and standards define what should be modelled rather than which models should be used and how these models are related to each other. We intend to prove that a less abstract modelling framework is needed for the effective modelling of large scale software intensive systems. It should provide a more precise guidance kinds of models to be employed and how they should relate to each other. The paper defines principles that can serve as base for an integrated model. Finally, structure of such a model has been proposed. It comprises three layers: the upper one – architectural policy – reflects corporate policy and strategies in architectural terms, the middle one –system organisation pattern – represents the core structural concepts and their rationale at a given level of scope, the lower one contains detailed architecture models. Architectural decisions play an important role here: they model the core architectural concepts explaining detailed models as well as organise the entire integrated model and the relations between its submodels.

    In the era of digital economy customer satisfaction and loyalty are key factors for the establishment of good relations with customers and partners in the supply chain. Using the innovative solutions enables integration of customers, partners and suppliers in a virtual network that is oriented to the end users. The challenge for the companies in the future is introducing the concept of electronic customer relationship management - CRM to increase productivity and profits of the company and thus gain a sustainable competitive advantage. Companies are increasingly exploring the market and searching the best ways to meet needs and requirements of their customers. In order to adapt to digital economy and accept new business philosophy many companies will implement modern technology and software solutions like e-CRM to their information systems.     W erze gospodarki cyfrowej satysfakcja i lojalność klientów to kluczowe czynniki dla dobrych stosunków z klientami i partnerami w łańcuchu dostaw. Aby klienci byli usatysfakcjonowani muszą być spełnione warunki ochrony danych i prywatności przy jednoczesnym uzyskaniu wysokiej jakości informacji. Zebrane informacje mogą być przetworzone przez inteligentny system biznesowy w kompletny system planowania zasobów przedsiębiorstwa. Powoduje to tworzenie zintegrowanych systemów biznesowych. Korzystanie z innowacyjnych rozwiązań umożliwia integrację z klientami, partnerami i dostawcami w wirtualnej sieci, która jest ukierunkowana na odbiorców końcowych. Wyzwaniem dla firm w przyszłości, jest wprowadzenie pojęcia elektronicznego zarządzania relacjami z klientami - CRM w celu zwiększenia wydajności i zysków firmy, a tym samym uzyskania trwałej przewagi konkurencyjnej. Firmy coraz dokładniej badają rynek i poszukują najlepszych sposobów, aby zaspokoić potrzeby i wymagania klientów. W celu dostosowania się do gospodarki cyfrowej i przyjęcia nowej filozofii działania wiele firm będzie wdrażało nowoczesne technologie i rozwiązania takie jak oprogramowanie e-CRM do swoich systemów informatycznych.

CAD EC converts reference books EC in the corresponding files of Moodle.
    В статье описана программная модель системы автоматизации проектирования общезначимых, с минимальным влиянием субъективного фактора электронных курсов (САПР ЭК). САПР ЭК использует онтологию предметной области (ПдО). В автоматизированном режиме из ПдО строится онтология предметной дисциплины (ПдД), включающая в виде справочников ЭК описания понятий ПдД, примеры, лабораторные работы, тесты. В конце работы САПР ЭК конвертирует справочники ЭК в соответствующие файлы Moodle.

    The paper describes the concept of augmented reality. Based on literature analysis, the authors claim that augmented reality technology enriches human experiences with digital data. The introduction of augmented reality applications and services provides an opportunity to increase the realism of research, while also offering an enhanced emotional and cognitive experience. Therefore, it can be an effective tool for the organization of learning in schools, colleges and universities.Augmented reality technologies can be interesting as an object of study as well. To do this, scientists need to design, develop and test appropriate methodologies.This paper explores one of the components of such techniques. The authors analysed several platforms for creating augmented reality applications. Unity, Vuforia and 3d-Studio were chosen for the purpose of analysis. Using them, the authors developed a fragment of the content of education. It contains instructionsfor creating an augmented reality application. The paper contains the author’s account of the process of training future teachers of computer science at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University (Ukraine). Based on the conducted study, the authors claim that students showed considerable interest in augmented reality technologies and the content of their training.
    Artykuł zawiera przegląd koncepcji rozszerzonej rzeczywistości. Na podstawie analizy literatury autorzy twierdzą, że technologia rzeczywistości rozszerzonej wzbogaca ludzkie doznania o dane cyfrowe. Wprowadzenie aplikacji i usług rzeczywistości rozszerzonej daje szansę na zwiększenie realizmu badań; dostarcza wrażeń emocjonalnych i poznawczych. Może więc być skutecznym narzędziem do organizacji nauki w szkołach i na uczelniach. Technologie rzeczywistości rozszerzonej mogą być również interesujące jako przedmiot badań. Dlatego naukowcy muszą zaprojektować, opracować i przetestować odpowiednie metodologie. Autorzy artykułu przeanalizowali kilka platform do tworzenia aplikacji rozszerzonej rzeczywistości. Wśród nich wybrano Unity, Vuforia i 3d-Studio. Korzystając z nich, autorzy opracowali fragment treści kształcenia zawierający instrukcje tworzenia aplikacji rozszerzonej rzeczywistości. Artykuł zawiera relację autora z procesu kształcenia przyszłych nauczycieli informatyki na Narodowym Uniwersytecie Pedagogicznym im. Włodzimierza Hnatiuka w Tarnopolu (Ukraina). Na podstawie badania autorzy twierdzą, że studenci wykazywali duże zainteresowanie technologiami rozszerzonej rzeczywistości i treścią ich szkoleń.

    Croatian national health ICT implementation strategy is determined by Croatian national health strategy and plan, Croatian ICT development strategy for 21st century, and requirements specifications for the health information system. National health ICT implementation strategy components are accented: purpose of the ICT implementation strategy, information principles, needs and ICT enablement in domains of patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers and managers and public. Telemedicine and telecare positions and implementation steps are described. Based on the determinants, three organizational levels have been established - government, ministerial and project levels. General architecture of Croatian healthcare information system and respective pilot projects and results of pilot implementations as well as national ICT environmental accelerators for health ICT implementations are presented.

    Software reliability prediction is very important to minimize cost and improve software development effectiveness, especially in a spacecraft’s software system. In this paper, a new spacecraft software system reliability definition is given and a new reliability prognostics-oriented life cycle integrated system health management for a spacecraft software system is focused on. Adaptive genetic algorithms are then combined with a support vector machine to build an adaptive genetic algorithm support vector machine reliability prediction model. This model attempts to overcome the genetic algorithm weaknesses, such as the local minima and premature convergence problems, and solves the parameter selection difficulties often encountered in a support vector machine. After construction, the proposed adaptive genetic algorithm support vector machine model is employed to predict the reliability of a spacecraft software system. Finally, a numerical example is given to show how the proposed approach has a superior prediction performance compared to a standard support vector machine and artificial neural network.
    Przewidywanie niezawodności oprogramowania odgrywa ważną rolę w minimalizowaniu kosztów i poprawie efektywności tworzenia oprogramowania, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do systemów oprogramowania statków kosmicznych. W niniejszej pracy, podano nową definicję niezawodności systemu oprogramowania statku kosmicznego koncentrując uwagę na opartym na prognozowaniu niezawodności oraz cyklu życia modelu zintegrowanego zarządzania kondycją systemu opracowanego dla systemu oprogramowania statku kosmicznego. Skonstruowano następnie model przewidywania niezawodności oparty na połączeniu adaptacyjnych algorytmów genetycznych oraz maszyny wektorów nośnych. Model ten stanowi próbę przezwyciężenia słabości algorytmów genetycznych, takich jak problem minimów lokalnych czy problem przedwczesnej zbieżności, a także rozwiązania trudności związanych z doborem parametrów, jakie często występują przy zastosowaniu maszyny wektorów nośnych. Skonstruowany model opartej na adaptacyjnym algorytmie genetycznym maszyny wektorów nośnych zastosowano do przewidywania niezawodności systemu oprogramowania statku kosmicznego. Wreszcie, przedstawiono przykład liczbowy, który pokazuje że opracowany model charakteryzuje się wyższą dokładnością prognozowania w porównaniu do standardowej maszyny wektorów nośnych oraz sztucznej sieci neuronowej.
