The technological development, particularly the development of information technology, brings about economic transformations in the organization of work. Neither the present orthodox concept of work nor the definition of the various professions are able to accompany the modern technological and organizational evolution which determines the conditions of employment. The systemic character of desemployment causes the present criterion for the distribution of the produced wealth to become meaningless. It will, therefore, have to be replaced by a new one which allows a distribution of wealth that is more in conformity with the real labor activity.

Celem artykułu jest określenie znaczenia firm, producentów technik informacyjnych (ICT) w tej części gospodarki światowej, którą tworzą korporacje o zasięgu globalnym. Na podstawie dostępnych danych statystycznych określona zostanie liczba oraz udziały firm z branży ICT w przychodach, zyskach i wartości rynkowej ogółu korporacji transnarodowych. Pozwoli to na ocenę, czy branża, do której powszechnie przywiązujemy tak duże znaczenie, rzeczywiście odgrywa przypisywaną jej rolę.
The aim of the article is to determine the importance of ICT companies in this part of the world economy which is formed by global corporations. On the basis of available statistical data the number of companies from the ICT sector as well as their share in the revenues, profits and market value will be defined. This will allow to assess if the industry to which commonly we attach such importance indeed plays the attributed role.

This research is the product of a task related to the training and qualification of tribal people for social innovation and sustainability in the Amazon. It seeks to generate competencies and skills while preserving the culture and tradition of traditional peoples in the scenario of the Western Brazilian Amazon; as an effect, it is expected to construct multiplying talents among the peoples of the Amazon Forest through imaginary games, using also information and communication technology for development (ICT4D), if possible.. This work considers the reference of the Ashaninkas for elaborating sustainability concepts, which help improve the quality of life in the various Amazonian tribes. It is proposed to develop indigenous skills through correlation treatment. It is proposed the creation of a scenario, individual and group inclusion, survey of propositions, and monitoring of the development of these skillsusing ICT4D that should be consistent with the culture and tradition of those involved. As a result, it is concluded that the complexity of technical preparation is an innovation, given that there is no task like this published in the annals of events that deal with traditional peoples. However, the need for this task is entirely conceivable, given the accelerated development that oppresses the indigenous people and reduces their food availability. Worrisome; mining activities without strict supervision have contaminated the region's rivers with mercury, which is dangerous for aquatic life and for the indigenous people who feed on these free lives. It is possible to admit a solution, and the workshop for constructing multiplier talents among tribal societies is one of the solutions. This work is of interest to public managers when creating government policies. It is also of interest to anthropologists, environmentalists, administrators, economists, sociologists, pedagogues, and others committed to this issue addressed here. The concept of the Smart City becomes a reality the functioning of modern cities. The purpose of this article is to indicate, on selected examples of implemented projects in Poland and all over the world, which constitute the foundations for the implementation of intelligent solutions in the process. Z uwagi na rozwój społeczeństwa informacyjnego, technologie IT mają coraz większe znaczenie dla gospodarki światowej, w tym również dla gospodarki polskiej. Artykuł jest przeglądem literatury. Pokazano w nim ekonomiczny rozwój sektora IT w Polsce ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem okresu kryzysu finansowego, którego skutki polskie IT szczególnie odczuło w roku 2009. Przedstawione też zostały główne kierunki rozwoju IT na najbliższe lata.
The term IT means a branch of information technologies covering production of hardware, software as well as connected with it consultancy, service, sale and education in the field of IT. Due to the development of information-based society, information technologies are of ever growing importance for the global economy, including the Polish economy. The article is a review of literature. The author presented in it the economic development of the IT sector in Poland with a particular consideration of the period of financial crisis whose consequences Polish IT experienced particularly in 2009. There are also presented the main directions of IT development for the years to come.

W artykule autorka rozważa wybrane aspekty związane z komunikacją wizualną i problematyką jej nauczania. Pomimo pytania zawartego w tytule, nie próbuje nań odpowiedzieć. Podkreśla, że zagadnienie komunikacji wizualnej jest bardzo obszerne, jest przedmiotem badań stosunkowo młodej dziedziny badawczej – komunikologii. Komunikacja ze względu na gwałtowny rozwój technologii jest sferą dynamiczną. Jej użytkownicy i odbiorcy są zdani na nieustanną naukę znajdywania sposobów na komunikację. Autorka podkreśla znaczenie efektywnego języka komunikacji dla takich wartości jak wolność i demokracja. Autorka posłużyła się metodą obserwacji bez interwencji opartą na osobistych doświadczeniach.
In the article, the author considers certain aspects related to visual communication and the problems of teaching in this subject. Despite the question in the title, she does not try to answer it. She emphasizes that the issue of visual communication is very extensive, it is the subject of research of a relatively young field of research. Communication due to the rapid development of technology is a dynamic sphere. Its users and recipients are reliant on continuous learning to find ways to communicate. The author emphasizes the importance of an effective language of communication for such values as freedom and democracy. The author has used the method of observation without intervention based on personal experience.

The growth in the ICT industry contributes to the development of the information society in a wide range. It influences on a shaping the economic, social and ecological order. It forms the basis for the sustainable development. The main goal of this article is to indicate areas of positive effects of the information society on the sustainable development. In this context, with the use of the statistical data and dynamic indicators, the authors assess the level of the development of the information society in Poland between 2009 and 2012. The practical part of this thesis is preceded with theoretical deliberations on the information society and the sustainable development.

In the perspective of the ever-growing and evolving requirements of the modern customer, there is a justified need for the better, faster and highly personalized matching of marketing activities for him/her. This challenge becomes even more difficult to implement when the client is a business entity and the marketing activities concern the B2B market. The solution, or at least an alleviation of the problem, seems to be the tools of marketing automation. However their use requires specific competences of marketing employees and an awareness of the possibilities and limitations from managers. This article presents the results of a survey conducted in a group of 100 Polish B2B market companies, the purpose of which was to identify the level and scope of applicability of marketing automation tools, characterize their advancement and the typical approach to their maintenance and further development. In terms of solutions functionality, the results of this analysis were referred to the state of the American business market. The summaries prepared on the basis of the analysis results can help in mapping further research, as well as in preparing dedicated and specialized courses and training for Polish entrepreneurs.

The complexity of the goals of regional development and the dynamics of social changes have placed on the agenda the task of expanding the composition of indicators and the set of tools used for analysis. It is necessary to overcome the excessive formalization of regional planning processes. This article provides an overview of publications on the use of data from social networks to analyze the processes important for the development of regions. This review aims to analyze the possibility of using these new tools in the development and monitoring of regional and local development programs. Publications were selected on the basis that they cover the main aspects of such development programs. The main directions for the application of data from social networks in territorial analytics are identified, as well as opportunities for involving members on the public in management processes. New sources of data have made it possible to enrich traditional tools for the analysis and planning of territorial development. These data can be successfully used to understand the stratification of local communities and identify social problems. Identification of accessibility models and spatio-temporal models of human behawior allows architects and planners to understand how people move within an area, so as to assess the convenience of streets, urban spaces, public transport routes, and routes for pedestrians. The fact that data in social networks are constantly accumulating means that these data sources may be used to monitor and evaluate the success of local and regional socio-economic development projects. Most people use social networks, and this fact facilitates the direct participation of a large numer of residents in the process of collecting and updating various data, as well as in development projects.
Złożoność celów rozwoju regionalnego, dynamika zmian społecznych wymaga poszerzenia składu wskaźników i zestawu narzędzi do analizy. Konieczne jest przezwyciężenie nadmiernej formalizacji procesów planowania regionalnego. Ten artykuł zawiera przegląd publikacji na temat wykorzystania danych z sieci społecznościowych do analizy procesów ważnych dla rozwoju terytorium. Celem tego przeglądu jest analiza możliwości wykorzystania tych nowych narzędzi w opracowywaniu i monitorowaniu regionalnych i lokalnych programów rozwoju. Publikacje wybrano z uwagi na zawierające przez nie główne aspekty programów rozwojowych danego terytorium. Określono główne kierunki stosowania danych z sieci społecznościowych w analizach terytorialnych, a także możliwości zaangażowania mieszkańców w zarządzaniu danym obszarem. Nowe źródła danych pozwoliły wzbogacić tradycyjne narzędzia do analizy i planowania rozwoju terytorialnego. Dane te można z powodzeniem wykorzystać do zrozumienia stratyfikacji lokalnych społeczności i zidentyfikowania problemów społecznych. Identyfikacja modeli dostępności i modeli czasoprzestrzennych zachowań ludzkich pozwala zarządzającym i planistom zrozumieć, w jaki sposób ludzie przemieszczają się wewnątrz terytorium, jak ocenić, jak wygodne są ulice, przestrzenie miejskie, trasy transportu publicznego i trasy dla pieszych. Fakt gromadzenia danych w sieciach społecznościowych umożliwia wykorzystanie tych źródeł danych do monitorowania i oceny powodzenia projektów rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego danego terytorium. Większość osób korzysta z sieci społecznościowych, co ułatwia możliwość bezpośredniego udziału dużej liczby mieszkańców w procesie zbierania i aktualizowania różnych danych, a także w projektach rozwojowych.

Research background: There is a considerable amount of literature focused on customers' motivation to participate in cooperative new product development [NPD], but previous research neglected the suppliers' perspective concerning organizational mechanisms for the facilitation of customer involvement in cooperative new product development. Purpose of the article: The aim of the study is to explore the influence of two kinds of dynamic capabilities, proactive customer orientation [PCO] and joint learning capability [JLC] on the acceptance and use of machine to machine interaction [M2M] in collaborative innovation development [CID], from the supplier's perspective. Methods: The research is based on a case study carried out from June 2018 till June 2019 of a Polish automation integrator supplying a manufacturer of automotive equipment, i.e. automotive industry, in a fully robotized workstation. In order to understand how the company functions in this case, in-depth interviews with the company's employees have been conducted. Findings & Value added: The results revealed that intelligent devices, interacting machines, and real-time data transfer to the supplier may cause disruptions through their impact on establishing trustful business relationships. We believe our findings could have a profound impact on the way how proactive customer orientation and relational interactions supported knowledge sharing and joint learning sense-making through operational meetings and on-the-job workshops which role was to evaluate the collaborative project.

In the present world information and knowledge are important elements of the local course of every stage of the civil service. Information delivered to local community contributes to achieving a high local identity level. Development of information function in gminas is being extorted by permanent progress in the scope of the information and communication technologies (ICT). In local society, the most important way of holding information should be Internet. It is important because more and more households in rural area have opportunities to the access to the Internet. Local society can use websites erected by local governments to disseminate information about functioning and action picked up in administrative districts to local actors. Transparent websites are becoming a source of information as well as they let achieve the competitive edge above other gminas. An attempt of assessment of providing information by authorities and usefulness of this information from a socio-economic development point of view is the purpose of the paper. Building transparent and available websites for local society is the important task for local governments, because well-informed society participates in local life and in local undertaking picked up by authorities. This is important, especially in the rural gminas located in metropolitan areas which must achieve the competitive edge above other gminas. The paper shows that that the information constituting the indispensable element of social and economic processes becomes more and more universal and serves publicizing and nationalizing decision-making processes.

Artykuł omawia znaczenie informacji i technik informacyjnych jako istotnych przyczyn przemian współczesnego świata. Opisano mechanizmy wpływu technik informacyjnych na gospo-darkę i społeczeństwo. Omówiono rosnącą zależność współczesnego człowieka od systemów infrastrukturalnych oraz wzajemne związki rozwoju systemów infrastrukturalnych i rozwoju spo-łeczno-gospodarczego. Zdefiniowano infrastrukturę informacyjną i jej szczególną rolę we współ-czesnym świecie. Opisano wpływ technik informacyjnych na gospodarkę i procesy zarządzania. Podkreślone zostaje znaczenie twórczej destrukcji, jako mechanizmu formującego zarówno sam rynek technik informacyjnych jak i pozostałe rynki, na których ICT jest używane. Krótko scharak-teryzowano historię rozwoju technik informacyjnych. Opisana została niepredyktywność rozwoju ICT i związane z tym przemiany rynkowe. Podkreślono szczególnie dynamiczny rozwój technik mobilnych umożliwiających dostęp do infrastruktury informacyjnej osób i regionów dotychczas wykluczonych. Omówiono rolę ICT w kreacji nowych produktów, usług i rynków. Zdefiniowana została także rola technik informacyjnych jako źródła niepewności i zmian w strukturach rynkowych. Tak więc uwzględnione zostają zarówno pozytywne, jak i negatywne skutki rozwoju i rozpowszechnienia technik informacyjnych.
The article discusses the importance of information and information technology as a significant cause of transformation of the modern world. It describes the impact of information technology on the economy and society. The growing dependence of contemporary human from infrastructure systems and the inter-relationships of infrastructure systems development and socio-economic development are discussed. The information infrastructure and its special role in the modern world is defined. The impact of information technology on the economy and governance processes are described. The importance of creative destruction, as a mechanism for forming both the information technology market itself as well as other markets in which ICT is used, is underlined. The history of the development of information technologies is briefly sketched. The unpredictability of the ICT development and the associated market transformation are described. Rapid development of mobile technologies is particularly underlined. It is a factor allowing access to the information infrastructure to people and regions hitherto excluded. Finally the role of ICT in creating new products, services and markets is discussed. The role of information technology as a source of uncertainty and changes in market structures is defined. So, both positive and negative effects of the development and dissemination of information technologies are taken into account.
