The aim of this article is to present issues regarding to IT projects specifications that must be taken into account during cutting a deal on IT system. The introduction includes the characteristic of information needs which are directly or indirectly the basic elements of future IT system. The next problem mentioned in the paper is the process of gaining and describing requirements for IT system as well as other key elements that must be present in the agreement. All this matters are the basis of potential claims. The author also shows advantages od negotiation process, which is inherent element of cutting deals.

Opis:
In this paper, development trends of information systems, information systems technology and enterprise information management were analyzed in the context of Industry 4.0 tools. In the first part (par. 1–2), fundamental definitions referred to the subject were presented as well as historic background of Integrated Management Information Systems. In the second part (par. 3), evolution and trends in ERP class systems, electronic economy tools and Product Lifecycle Management software were described. In the third part (par. 4–5), observed trends in information systems technology, in relation to Industry 4.0 tools, were discussed including manufacturing resources, production objects and novel management strategies approach. Many conclusions were related with actual manufacturing practices observed by the authors.

Niniejsza praca jest analizą stanu obecnego, jak i kierunków rozwoju zintegrowanych systemów zarządzania zasobami przedsiębiorstwa, zwanych popularnie systemami ERP (ang. Enterprise Resource Planning) w porównaniu z systemami do zarządzania zasobami wojskowymi zwłaszcza w trakcie działań militarnych, tj. systemami BMS (ang. Battlefield Management System). Znaczna część artykułu została poświęcona prezentacji najnowszych rozwiązań tego typu oprogramowania i wyróżnieniu w nich cech innowacyjnych, które w najbliższym czasie nadal będą rozwijane lub rozbudowywane. Głównym celem opracowania było wykazanie, iż w dobie dynamicznych zmian otoczenia osiąganie sukcesów w zakresie zarządzania przez zarówno przedsiębiorstwa, instytucje wojskowe, jak i związki operacyjne bądź taktyczne idzie w parze ze wspieraniem działalności nowoczesnymi systemami informacyjnymi. Oprogramowanie to, tworzone przy użyciu zaawansowanych technologii informatycznych, wywołuje swego rodzaju „sprzężenie zwrotne”, bowiem staje się podstawą budowania współczesnych modeli zarządzania organizacjami czy też strategii zarówno biznesowych, jak i wojskowych.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the current situation as well as the development trends of the integrated Enterprise Resource Management systems in comparison with the Battlefield Management systems. The main part of the article is devoted to the presentation of the latest solutions in this type of software and the indication of the innovative features which will continue to be developed or expanded in the near future. In addition, the reader will be made famil-iar with a detailed analysis of this trend of expansion in the automotive industry, which has been particularly affected during the global economic downturn. The main purpose of the article is to demonstrate that the dynamic changes in the age of achieving a successful economic environment are going hand in hand with the promotion of modern management systems, which are created with advanced information technologies. They are the basis for creating new models of organization management or business strategies.

W pracy przedstawiono wykorzystanie analizy ryzyka oraz scenariuszy przebiegu incydentów w systemie teleinformatycznym do oceny wpływu incydentów na bezpieczeństwo gromadzonej i przetwarzanej w systemie informacji. Dokonano przeglądu literatury przedmiotu, a następnie zaprezentowano związki pomiędzy analizą ryzyka a scenariuszami. Scenariusz w sposób opisowy ma pokazać, jakie mogą być skutki incydentów dla bezpieczeństwa systemu teleinformatycznego oraz dla znajdującej się w nim informacji. Przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące znajomości zagadnień związanych z analizą ryzyka. Wykonanie analizy ryzyka jest wymaganiem ustawowym.
In the paper the use of risk analysis and incident scenarios in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems is presented. An evaluation of the incidents affecting the security of information stored and processed in an ICT system is made. In the first part of the paper an analysis of the current state is made. Next a correlation between risk analysis and incident scenarios developed for information security is shown. In Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4 the result of the survey conducted by the authors on the body of knowledge related to risk analysis methods is shown. The survey shows that potential analysis users who would have to do it sometime in the future have decent theoretical knowledge about risk analysis. However, as they indicated in their responses, they were not ready to make it themselves.

Reliability of production systems in enterprises is increasingly dependent on the availability of ICT systems that supervise them. The research presented in this paper focuses on the improvement of the availability of ICT systems by identifying possibilities of further automation of their maintenance processes. After preliminary research, it has been concluded that the possibility of further automation by using artificial intelligence methods to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems is worth considering. The main aim of the paper was to carry out research into the possibilities of using and implementing artificial intelligence to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems.

The paper describes stages of development of the Semantic Web, classifies them, and describes proposed methods of utilizing the Internet in the future. It delves into issues pertaining the Web-based technology, and the mechanisms which, perfected and popularized, will lead to creation of Web 4.0. The observed rapid increase in the amount of data available on the Internet leads to difficulties in fast selection of content relevant to the user. The nature of the human language causes considerable obstacles for machine pattern recognition of information contained within the given content. This results in slow and inefficient extraction of valuable data. The basis for proper machine recognition of patterns contained on the Internet is the process of creating ontologies. The paper describes the most important features of ontologies and methods of describing information in such a way that its structure is clear to agents and multi-agent systems. The authors also present the issues of improving the quality of human life by proper management of information on the Internet. As its basis the paper uses a case study of ontology of City Hall of Częstochowa.

The purpose of this article is to present the results of research on the directions of the development of integrated management information systems. The authors took especially into account the functionality of systems and technology solutions. The survey was sent to the leading MRPII/ERP producers on the Polish market. Findings allowed to identify future trends in the development of MRPII/ERP systems for the years 2013-2015: Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, access to the system through a web browser, management dashboards, Cloud Computing and virtualization of data, mobile technology and tools for business processes modeling in ERP systems.

In the developed world at present, perhaps there is already a modern man, growing organization, or functioning process, which would reduce the importance of information in dynamically changing society and its gradual transformation from an industrial society to an information society. In such a society is awareness and understanding of the concept of information necessary to adequately define the requirements for information security and in particular of a number of key aspects. When information arises, how to handle information and when the information becomes void. Understanding the concept of information is also a prerequisite for obtaining the ability to assess the importance of information to quantify its fair value and define the desired level and form of its protection.

Artykuł ukazuje praktyczne zagadnienia związane z informatyką prawniczą. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie wybranych systemów wyszukiwawczych. W pracy zostały omówione podstawowe systemy informacji prawnej: LEX, Internetowy System Aktów Prawnych, Dzienniki Urzędowe, Bazy orzeczeń Trybunału Konstytucyjnego, Bazy orzeczeń sądów administracyjnych. Wskazano na podstawowe zasady funkcjonowania systemu wyszukiwania informacji.
The article presents the practical issues related to legal information technology. The aim of the study is to present selected search systems. The paper discusses basic legal information systems: LEX, Internet system of legal acts, Official Journals, Databases Constitutional Court decisions, rulings base administrative courts. It specifies the fundamental principles of the system search for information.

Health informatics is characterized by the need to securely store, process and transmit large amounts of sensitive medical data while ensuring interoperability with other systems. Among many standards used in such systems there are two which have gained interest in recent years and cover most of those needs: openEHR and HL7 FHIR. In this paper, both standards are discussed and compared with each other. The architecture of both systems, the similarities and differences, methods of data modeling and ensuring interoperability were presented.

This article addresses integrated functional safety and cybersecurity analysis with regard to: the generic functional safety standard IEC 61508 and the cyber security standard IEC 62443 concerning an industrial automation and control system (IACS). The objective is to mitigate the vulnerability of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems, and reduce relevant risks taking into account a set of fundamental requirements (FRs). A method is proposed for determining and verifying the performance level (PL) or the safety integrity level (SIL) of defined safety functions, and then validating these levels depending on the security level (SL) of a particular domain,e.g.a safety related control system (SRCS). The method is general in the sense that it is based on risk graphs prepared for individual risk and/or societal/group risk with regard to the criteria defined.

Even the best technology will be ineffective if not used appropriately, therefore education and training about cybersecurity principles and programs are essential components of any cybersecurity strategy. This article presents selected models of the decision support theory from the point of view of cybersecurity education. The analysis of scientific literature and the available research results serve as a base to characterize approaches to raise the awareness of decision-makers about potential cyber threats and the development of appropriate attitudes and the conscious use of information systems and digital resources. The main part of the article is devoted to the issue of the use of teaching methods to increase the involvement of learners. It also describes examples of selected models of the game theory used in IT security education, including examples of simulation games dedicated to decision-making in the domain of IT security.
