    The intention of the author of this article is to draw attention to the increasingly strong influence of global and local conditions for the development of e-tourism Poland. In this context, outlines the important issue related to the diagnosis of the factors that provide essential knowledge about the contemporary environment of e-tourism which need its tourist operators to build innovative offerings and business models.

    Let F be a polynomial mapping of ℝ², F(O) = 0. In 1987 Meisters and Olech proved that the solution y(·) = 0 of the autonomous system of differential equations ẏ = F(y) is globally asymptotically stable provided that the jacobian of F is everywhere positive and the trace of the matrix of the differential of F is everywhere negative. In particular, the mapping F is then injective. We give an n-dimensional generalization of this result.

    The global stability of electrical circuits composed of positive linear parts and nonlinear static element with given characteristic and positive gain feedbacks is investigated. New sufficient conditions for the global stability of this class of nonlinear positive electrical circuits are established. These new stability conditions are demonstrated on simples examples of positive nonlinear electrical circuits.

    The amount of water required to support a river ecosystem in proper condition are of particular importance in the areas of high natural value. The hydrological threats for the protected areas are region-specific and vary from region to region. The local hydrological conditions depend largely on the temporal and spatial variations of the hydrologic cycle, of the main components and physiographic conditions on site. Future climate change is projected to have a significant impact on the hydrological regime, water resources and their quality in many parts of the world. The water-dependent ecosystems are exposed to the risk of climate change through altered precipitation and evaporation. Investigating the current climate changes and their hydrological consequences are very important for hydrological issues. This analysis may be a very important foundation for determining the causes observed in the recent period of anomalous growth – both hydrological and climatic. The aim of the research is to assess the effect of projected climate change on water resources in lowland catchment the Narew River in Poland. The hydrological reaction to climate warming and wetter conditions includes changes in flow and water level. This paper describes the directions of changes climatic and hydrological conditions and the impact of climate change on the Narew River. The data such as: daily air temperature, precipitation obtained from the Bialystok climate station located within the Narew river and hydrological data such as water flows and water states observed in water gauges were used for the analysis of climate variability and their hydrological consequences. The results show a significant decrease in winter outflows in river, as well as a delayed increase in the spring melt flow. It has also been observed that this is the initial phase of changes in maximum water levels and maximum flows.

    Research background: In the era of globalization, there is a need to address decent work deficits in Global Value Chains (GVCs). The forms of working conditions reveal a broad dispersion of contents. The literature review exposes hardly any Europe-focused research assessing the socio-economic impact of global production links and going beyond their pure economic effects assessed in terms of employment, productivity or wages. Purpose of the article: This paper investigates how involvement in GVCs affects labor standards. In particular, we assess how the integration into GVCs impacts the probability of having indefinite type of employment contract, which stands for one of the decent work indicator. Moreover, we draw individual and firm-level characteristics determining the type of employment contract. Methods: We use linked employer-employee data from the Structure of Earnings Survey merged with industry-level statistics on GVCs based on World Input-Output Database ? the sample is composed of over 5 million workers from 10 Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) observed in 2014. The involvement into GVCs is measured using a novel approach based on the concepts of global import intensity (GII). We employ logistic regression with robust standard errors. Findings & Value added: Controlling for individual and firm-level characteristics (sex, age, education level, length of service in enterprise, size of the enterprise) we find that greater integration into GVCs increases the probability of having temporary type of employment contact, mainly in tradable sectors. However, across CEE countries the relation between GVC and employment type is mixed. In this way we expand the existing literature by reporting the effects of GVCs on labor standards in CEEC.

    The paper aims to explore the linkages between global production fragmentation, routinisation and the well-being of workers in Poland. In particular, the focus is placed on the selected measures of working conditions, such as the social environment, work intensity, and working time quality to examine their dependence on involvement in international trade and the routinisation level. We merge individual data describing the working conditions and well-being of workers with sector-level data containing information on involvement in global production processes and occupational data on the job routinisation level. The findings reveal a moderate association between working conditions and global value chain (GVC) involvement among Polish workers. In more GVC-dependent sectors, workers receive lower remuneration on average. The relationship between GVC and other working conditions is significant, but the economic significance is marginal. Similarly, the routinisation of work is negatively correlated with wages and working conditions (except work intensity). The main contribution of this study is its multidimensional approach to analysing working conditions, which significantly expands existing evidence in the literature.
    Tematem artykułu jest zbadanie powiązań między globalnymi procesami fragmentacji produkcji (GVC), rutynizacją pracy a dobrostanem pracowników w Polsce. W szczególności skupiono się na wybranych miernikach warunków pracy, takich jak otoczenie społeczne, intensywność pracy i jakość czasu pracy, w celu zbadania ich zależności od zaangażowania w handel międzynarodowy i rutynizacji. Połączone zostały indywidualne dane opisujące warunki pracy i dobrostan pracowników z danymi sektorowymi zawierającymi informacje o zaangażowaniu w globalne procesy produkcyjne. Wyniki wskazują na umiarkowany związek pomiędzy warunkami pracy a zaangażowaniem w GVC wśród polskich pracowników. W sektorach bardziej zależnych od GVC pracownicy otrzymują średnio niższe wynagrodzenie. Ponadto, związek między GVC a innymi aspektami warunków pracy jest statystycznie istotny, jednakże w ujęciu ekonomicznym ma wymiar marginalny. Podobnie rutynizacja pracy jest ujemnie skorelowana z wynagrodzeniami i warunkami pracy (z wyjątkiem wskaźnika intensywności pracy). Najważniejszą zaletą przeprowadzonego badania jest wielowymiarowe podejście do analizy warunków pracy, co znacznie poszerza dotychczasowy stan wiedzy.

    Artykuł przedstawia analizę doboru odpowiednich warunków brzegowych dla modelowanego zjawiska wpływu eksploatacji podziemnej na budowlę. Autorzy skłonili się do próby rozwiązania tego problemu w sposób dwuczłonowy, wykorzystując model globalny i submodel. W technice zaproponowanej przez autorów warunki brzegowe zadawane na submodel stanowiły przemieszczenia pionowe i poziome wyliczone z modelu globalnego. Dodatkowo przeprowadzono analizę wpływu wielkości modelowanego podłoża, na stan naprężenia wewnątrz posadowionego na nim fundamentu.
    This paper describes the correct selections of the bonduary conditions, of the models presents the influence of the underground excavations on the bulding based on FEM. The authors incline to solve this problem by using the dobblepart methods, based on global model and sub-model. In this technic the boundary conditions of the sub-model are the value of vertical and horizontal displacements calculate previously in global model. Aditionally the authors made some calculations of the influence of the size of the model bedrock of the stress values in the fundations based on it.
