In his play hamlet is dead. no gravity (which had its world premiere in 2007 at the Schauspielhaus Vienna) he tries to dissect a modern family life on the brink of collapse. Palmetshofer’s characters are struggling in a world without God, in which heaven is only a “machine” and traditional values such as love, mutual trust and respecting your elders are being forgotten. These are being replaced by antagonism, frustration and egoism. This article is an attempt to analyze the play.

This paper essentially concentrates on legislative and administrative activities aimed to increase fiscal effectivity Value Added Tax. Main attention was focused on “anti-fraud efforts” implemented after year 2015. The main research question is as follows: whether the aim of “tightening up VAT system” was achieved and what was the cost. The cost “tightening up VAT system” was especially of additional tax burden – administrative cost levied on taxpayers. The purpose of the article is to take an attempt to answer to that question by the analysis of legislative and administrative measures and the cost/effect outcome of the measures implementation.
Artykuł koncentruje się na przebiegu działań legislacyjnych i organizacyjnych mających na celu zwiększenie wydajności fiskalnej podatku od towarów i usług, podejmowanych w szczególności po 2015 roku. Główne pytanie badawcze dotyczy realizacji celów postawionych przez inicjatorów procesu „uszczelniania podatku VAT” oraz kosztów tego procesu. Jako koszty procesu zostały wskazane koszty pozafiskalne ponoszone przez podatników, w postaci obciążeń administracyjnych. Celem opracowania jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie badawcze poprzez przedstawienie genezy, obecnego stanu oraz próby oceny w kategorii koszt/efekt wprowadzonych zmian legislacyjnych i organizacyjnych.

Opis:
Women’s disproportionate involvement in religion has been the subject of debate in the sociology of religion for some time. In particular, the gender gap in New Age spiritualities appears considerably greater than that found in the congregational sphere of mainstream religion. This article argues that there is nothing in being a woman per se that may attract an individual to certain spiritual activities but rather, that it is the elective affinity between women as a group and such activities that creates the impression of a direct appeal. Much of the holistic spirituality milieu is designed by women for women, not least the most popular elements concerned with healing and well-being. It is therefore possible that the initial gap between men and women is small but it becomes subsequently reinforced and widened due to the gendered nature of alternative spirituality courses, workshops and treatments.

The objective of this paper is to develop feasible gait patterns that could be used to control a real hexapod walking robot. These gaits should enable the fastest movement that is possible with the given robot's mechanics and drives on a flat terrain. Biological inspirations are commonly used in the design of walking robots and their control algorithms. However, legged robots differ significantly from their biological counterparts. Hence we believe that gait patterns should be learned using the robot or its simulation model rather than copied from insect behaviour. However, as we have found tahula rasa learning ineffective in this case due to the large and complicated search space, we adopt a different strategy: in a series of simulations we show how a progressive reduction of the permissible search space for the leg movements leads to the evolution of effective gait patterns. This strategy enables the evolutionary algorithm to discover proper leg co-ordination rules for a hexapod robot, using only simple dependencies between the states of the legs and a simple fitness function. The dependencies used are inspired by typical insect behaviour, although we show that all the introduced rules emerge also naturally in the evolved gait patterns. Finally, the gaits evolved in simulations are shown to be effective in experiments on a real walking robot.

Opis:
Industry 4.0 is an era in which the manufacturing industry has adopted digital technologies and the Internet to enable smart manufacturing system, machines used in the production now can communicate with each other and exchange information between each other, and the machinery used in the manufacturing process is more modern and precise. Therefore, educational institutions should develop the curriculum to produce qualified graduates with the knowledge required for the Industry 4.0 era, especially Industrial Engineering graduates who are directly related to the industry sector. The purpose of this research is to collect the data for the Master of Industrial Engineering (MSIE) curriculum development. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique is used to rank the indicators of knowledge that is important to the employment of graduates with a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, and study the gap between the expectations of employers and the ability of the current MSIE students of Khon Kaen University. The results of the study reveal that the first indicators that are most important to the employment of MSIE graduates is the knowledge of Industry 4.0 strategy and the knowledge that the students should have developed are the collaboration of humans and robots, big data analytics, real time data usage and databased decision making.

A new formulation of the Hamiltonian formalism of general relativity is developed based on the adiabatic variation of the Hamiltonian constraint. This new formulation consists of complex valued anti-Hermitian 1- called the Berry gauge potentials. These are then used to develop the complex Berry-Einstein-Yang-Mills curvature 2- . The Berry-Yang-Mills field equations are then developed and interpreted in a novel manner to incorporate quantum temporal strings in the non-perturbative formalism. This is however just highlighted in this paper and will be pursued in another paper. Since, the holonomy phase construed is that of Lorentz rotation we perceive a new quantum structure of the space-time namely that of causality. The future light cones are soldered internally to the tensor fields naturally so that the Berry-Ehresmann connection defines a quantum gauge field of causality. This field evokes the causal structure attributed to space-time as gauge degrees of freedom of quantum space ― a fluid of future light cones. This symmetry being of the gauge field type has three generators i.e., three gauge bosons― all heavy and therefore attracted by gravity. Thus causality is a local gauge degree of freedom of gravity. Once the theory is developed, the problem of the mass gap is considered for our gauge field. It seems that the problem is solved in this paper.

This paper shows a recent progress described in curvilinear, orthogonal coordinates of the method of estimation of stochastic bio-hydrodynamic lubrication parameters. Here are discussed real arbitrary movable, non-rotational living biological surfaces coated with phospholipid bi-layers and lubricated with biological liquids. Non-rotational, curvilinear cooperating biological surfaces take the place in various biological nods for example in sacra bone, femoral bone, knee cap, calf bone and hip joint, elbow joint, knee joint, jump joint. Moreover are assumed biological non-rotational friction nods between human skin and tightly sport dress lubricated with the sweat. The main focus of the paper was to demonstrate the influence of expected values variations and standard deviation of the human joint gap height on the hydrodynamic lubrication parameters occurring during the friction process. It is very important to notice that the random gap height variations imply on the apparent dynamic viscosity of biological fluid or synovial fluid.
Niniejsza praca ujmuje nowe osiągnięcia autorów w zakresie metod oszacowywania losowych wartości hydrodynamicznych parametrów smarowania dla biologicznych powierzchni opisanych w krzywoliniowych ortogonalnych współrzędnych. Badania dotyczą dowolnych, ruchomych nieobrotowych, żywych powierzchni biologicznych pokrytych dwuwarstwą fosfolipidów, smarowanych cieczą biologiczną, fizjologiczną. Omawiane powierzchnie smarowane cieczą synowialną występują w węzłach tarcia biologicznego w stawach człowieka takich jak biodro, kolano, łokieć, paliczki, skok oraz między innymi na kości obojczykowej, łopatkowej, promieniowej, piszczelowej. Ponadto smarowanie potem występuje w węźle tarcia pomiędzy skórą człowieka a obcisłym dresem sportowym. Główne wysiłki autorów koncentrują się na badaniu wpływu zmian wartości oczekiwanej oraz odchylenia standardowego wysokości szczeliny smarnej na parametry tarcia i smarowania w węzłach tarcia biologicznego. Należy wyraźnie podkreślić, że losowe zmiany wysokości szczeliny mają wpływ na zmiany lepkości biologicznego czynnika smarującego.

In this paper, we propose a new structure to design a 4-channel optical demultiplexer using a modified Y-branch structure with 4 hexagonal photonic crystal ring resonators. A new optical filter with a high transfer coefficient and quality factor has been introduced and designed in the present paper using a hexagonal photonic crystal ring resonator, which has then been used to design a 4-channel optical demultiplexer. The proposed demultiplexer has an average transfer coefficient of 95.5% and a high quality factor of 4164.6. It also has a channel spacing of 2.75 nm and a spectral width of 0.4 nm. The maximum and minimum crosstalk values of the channels are –10.5 and –36.5 dB, respectively. To study the photonic band structure, the plane wave expansion method has been used and the finite-difference time-domain method has also been used to analyze the optical behavior of the structure.

A new energetic glycidyl-based polymer containing nitramine groups (glycidyl nitramine polymer, GNAP) was synthesized using glycidyl azide polymer (GAP) as the starting material. The synthesis involved Staudinger azide-amine conversion, followed by carbamate protection of the amino group, nitration with nitric acid (100%) and trifluoroacetic anhydride and was concluded by deprotection with aqueous ammonia. The products obtained were characterized by elemental analysis and vibrational spectroscopy (IR). The energetic properties of GNAP were determined using bomb calorimetric measurements and calculated with the EXPLO5 V6.02 computer code, showing better values regarding the energy of explosion (ΔEU = −4813 kJ kg−1), the detonation velocity (VDet = 7165 m•s−1), as well as the detonation pressure (pCJ = 176 kbar), than the comparable polymers GAP and polyGLYN. The explosion properties were tested by impact sensitivity (IS), friction sensitivity (FS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) equipment. The results revealed GNAP to be insensitive towards friction and electrostatic discharge, less sensitive towards impact (40 J) and a decomposition temperature (170 °C) in the range of polyGLYN.

Numerous Authors of scientific papers occurring in hydrodynamic theory of slide bearing lubrication, up to now almost always had neglected the oil dynamic viscosity variations caused by temperature, adhesion forces, capillary forces, or hydrogen ion concentration across the film thickness by virtue of the statement of the constant temperature as well constant adhesion as capillary forces in the thin bearing gap height direction. In addition, simultaneously by virtue of boundary layer simplifications for energy equation and by virtue of new measurements performed in micro and nano- level follows that oil temperature gradients and its values differences and adhesion or capillary gradients of forces in bearing gap height directions are not negligible small. The contemporary hydrodynamic theory of lubrication for non-isothermal lubricant flow is unfortunately based on the assumption of constant viscosity values across the film thickness, despite abovementioned self-evident contradiction between the fact of constant viscosity and simultaneously temperature variations in gap height direction. Such problem was up to now not sufficient critical examined and explained in practical and theoretical sense. After Authors, knowledge by virtue of above problem the most scientific papers in the domain of non-isothermal and lamellar hydrodynamic slide bearing or biobearing lubrication were up to now not sufficient correctly solved. It denotes that the main hydrodynamic lubrication solutions presenting for example hydrodynamic pressure by the modified Reynolds equation and temperature by the energy conservation equation are not sufficiently correctly obtained and next not correctly solved. Therefore are assumed simultaneously the temperature T and oil dynamic viscosity variations in length, width and bearing gap- height directions. From this assumption follows, that the energy equation must be solved simultaneously with the equations of motion i.e. consequently with pressure equation where viscosity depends on temperature and temperature depends on the coordinate in gap height direction.

There exist some possibilities for simultaneous delivery of laser radiation and ultrasounds of low frequency and high intensity: introducing ultrasound oscillations in the optical fiber by the rigid connection of the fiber to the vibrating element and non-contact influence of the ultrasonic wave on the laser beam. The article presents the results of Matlab simulations and experimental studies of influence of the ultrasonic wave on the laser beam. A role of the air gap, and its influence on laser- ultrasonic transmission in optical fiber was examined. Advantages and disadvantages of both solutions of interaction of ultrasonic and optical waves in, e.g., surgical applications are discussed.

In this article we worked on the result and process of calculation of the gap heat transfer coefficient for a hot fuel pin in accordance with burn-up changes in the VVER-1000 reactor at the Bushehr nuclear power plant (Iran). With regard to the fact that in calculating the fuel gap heat transfer coefficient, various parameters are effective and the need for designing a model is being felt, therefore, in this article we used Ross and Stoute gap model to study impacts of different effective parameters such as thermal expansion and gaseous fission products on the hgap change rate. Over time and with changes in fuel burn-up some gaseous fission products such as xenon, argon and krypton gases are released to the gas mixture in the gap, which originally contained helium. In this study, the composition of gaseous elements in the gap volume during different times of reactor operation was found using ORIGEN code [3]. Considering that the thermal conduction of these gases is lower than that of helium, and by using the Ross and Stoute gap model, we find first that the changes in gaseous compounds in the gap reduce the values of gap thermal conductivity coefficient, but considering thermal expansion (due to burn-up alterations) of fuel and clad resulting in the reduction of gap thickness we find that the gap heat transfer coefficient will augment in a broad range of burn-up changes. These changes result in a higher rate of gap thickness reduction than the low rate of decrease of heat conduction coefficient of the gas in the gap during burn-up. Once these changes have been defined, we can proceed with the analysis of the results of calculations based on the Ross and Stoute model and compare the results obtained with the experimental results for a hot fuel pin as presented in the final safety analysis report of the VVER-1000 reactor at Bushehr [2]. It is noteworthy that the results of accomplished calculations based on the Ross and Stoute model correspond well with the existing experimental results for this reactor.

The comparative study of the acid-base balance (ABB) parameters has been performed on 20 clinically healthy mature Małopolski horses. An arterial blood sample from the facial artery and a sample of venous blood from the external cervical vein were colected from each animal. In the samples tested, the blood pH, pCO₂, tCO₂, HCO₃-, concentration of Na+, K+, Cl-, and a value of the anion gap were determined. The difference among pCO₂, tCO₂, and HCO₃ - in both samples tested was statistically significant, whereas the pH of the arterial blood and the pH of the venous blood did not differ significantly. The anion gap in both types of blood did not differ significantly. Conclusions: 1) ABB parameters such as pCO₂, HCO₃-, and tCO₂ determined in the arterial and venous blood of the Małopolski horses differ from each other significantly. 2) In spite of the lack of the differences between pH of the arterial and venous blood, the ABB parameters in horses should be determined in the arterial blood, because the comparative study performed proves that the analysis of the ABB parameters determined for the venous blood of a healthy horse may lead to a wrong diagnosis of the compensated respiratory acidosis. 3) The mean value of anion gap in horses aged 8-12 years amounts to 20.9 mmol/l for the arterial blood and 19.93 for the venous blood; the difference between the two values is not statistically significant.

W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki postępowania badawczego zmierzającego do identyfikacji poziomu adaptacyjności struktur organizacyjnych polskich przedsiębiorstw. Przedstawiono także założenia i istotę zmiany struktury organizacyjnej interpretowanej jako proces jej adaptacji. Na podstawie ankiet skierowanych do kierownictwa badanych przedsiębiorstw zidentyfikowano stan odpowiedniości i luki strukturalnej. Stan odpowiedniości strukturalnej potwierdzający wysoki poziom zdolności adaptacyjnych badanych przedsiębiorstw w większym stopniu dotyczy cech struktur organizacyjnych i cech kontekstu organizacyjnego oraz kontekstu konstytuowanego przez mikrootoczenie krajowe i makrootoczenie. Stan luki strukturalnej wskazujący na niższy poziom zdolności adaptacyjnych dotyczy stanu cech struktur i cech kontekstu konstytuowanego głównie przez mikrootoczenie międzynarodowe.
The article attempts to answer the question to what extent the environment condition reflects the position of the organizational structures in Polish enterprises. Research showed a state of the structural gap in the adoption of structures and international microenvironment. However, the structural adaptability includes features of the organizational context and characteristic of other components of its environment.
