Opis:: Neoliberal policy has been an ongoing worldwide strategy for more than thirty years. It concentrates on fast and common growth, however has caused great imbalance between poor and rich, led to exploitation of the natural environment and overestimated fi nancial sector’s role in the global economy. The article describes three issues which should be identified as direct results of market mechanism: economic crisis, growth of precariat and upcoming ecological catastrophe. We cannot think about the future of our globe without fi nding the solution to those outstanding issues. The current state of the world requires us to create sustainable development based on knowledge and social consciousness.

In contrast, the starting point for considering ordoliberalism as a doctrine is the economic, social and political order. The most prominent representative of ordoliberalism was Walter Eucken. Achievements of this outstanding economist as well as other representatives of this school underlay the concept of the German social market economy and the EU competition policy. The aim of this article is to present the concept of Eucken’s competitive order and describe its philosophical and ethical foundation. The article relies on descriptive analysis and literature studies.

Opis:: Family as a historical category has undergone many transformations in the course of history; these transformations were characteristic of various eras. Despite the change of the meaning and model of the family, it has an irreplaceable role for the modern system of the free-market economy, which expresses itself especially in the creation and development of human capital. Human capital considered as the main factor of economic development finds nowhere else such a favorable environment for the emergence and development as in the family. It entails, however, a necessity of bearing considerable costs to ensure its members a better chance of success in professional and social life. As a result, this situation is rebound on the demographic structure of society, because parents reduce the number of children by reason of the necessary input as they want to invest in the ’quality’ of their children’s human capital. Based on the demands for social justice and having regard to the future fate of the aging societies, it is necessary to undertake appropriate action on the grounds of social policy. These activities should be focused in particular on the equitable distribution of burdens, and thus opportunities for the social and professional success of individuals and families, the success that leads to a higher level of social and economic development of the wider community.

Opis:: Inspiracją dla rozważań zawartych w artykule stały się publicznoprawne restrykcje działalności komorników wprowadzone ustawą z dnia 9 kwietnia 2015 r. o zmianie ustawy o komornikach sądowych i egzekucji. Ich wyrazem są normy zawarte w art. 8 ust. 8 ustawy o komornikach sądowych i egzekucji, stosownie do których komornik wybrany przez wierzyciela odmawia jednak wszczęcia egzekucji, wykonania postanowienia o udzieleniu zabezpieczenia lub podjęcia innych czynności wchodzących w zakres jego ustawowych zadań, jeżeli: 1) w zakresie prowadzonych przez niego egzekucji zaległość przekracza sześć miesięcy; 2) wpływ wszystkich spraw w danym roku przekroczył 5000, a skuteczność w zakresie prowadzonych przez niego egzekucji w roku poprzednim nie przekroczyła 35%; 3) wpływ wszystkich spraw w danym roku przekroczył 10 000. Celem opracowania stało się zbadanie zgodności przyjętych rozwiązań legislacyjnych z wartościami konstytucyjnymi wyrażanymi w art. 2 oraz art. 20 i art. 45 ust. 1 Konstytucji. Wiodącym podejściem badawczym w dyscyplinie prawo jest logiczno-lingwistyczna wykładnia komunikatu o stanie reguł sformalizowanych. Skoro zatem podstawowym materiałem weryfikacyjnym przedstawionego zagadnienia uczyniono regulacje prawne, to okoliczność ta w naturalny sposób determinowała oparcie badań na metodzie formalno-dogmatycznej jako najefektywniejszej w procesie egzegezy norm prawnych. Przeprowadzona analiza wskazanych rozwiązań prawnych pozwoliła na ich krytyczną ocenę zarówno z perspektywy zgodności z normami Konstytucji, jak też z uwagi na ochronę praw komorników i wierzycieli.
The considerations included in the article were inspired by public law restrictions on the activities of bailiffs introduced by the Act of 9 April 2015 amending the Act on Bailiffs and Enforcement. They are embodied by the standards in Article 8 paragraph 8 of the Act on Bailiffs and Enforcement, according to which the bailiff selected by the creditor refuses a request for enforcement or preservation of a claim or to take other action which is within the scope of his or her statutory tasks if: 1) there is a backlog of more than six months in the enforcement proceedings being conducted by him or her; 2) the number of all received cases in a given year exceeded 5,000, and the effectiveness of the enforcement proceedings in the previous year did not exceed 35%; 3) the number of all received cases in a given year exceeded 10,000. The aim of the article was to examine the compatibility of the adopted legislative solutions with the constitutional values expressed in Article 2 and 20 and Article 45 paragraph 1 of the Constitution. The leading research approach in the discipline of law is linguo-logical interpretation of a status of formalized rules. So if the legal regulations became the basic material for verification of the presented issue, this circumstance naturally determined the use of formal-dogmatic method for the research as the most efficient one in the process of exegesis of legal norms. The conducted analysis of indicated legal solutions allowed their critical evaluation from the perspective of compatibility with the norms of the Constitution, as well as in regard to the protection of the rights of bailiffs and creditors.

Opis:: Uzasadniono potrzebę innowacyjnego podchodzenia do rozwiązywania zagadnień technologicznych, technicznych i organizacyjno-ekonomicznych w podmiotach gospodarki rynkowej. Wiąże się to z wchodzeniem naszego kraju na rynki Wspólnot Europejskich oraz tamtych krajów na rynek polski. Stąd w opracowaniu omówiono w ujęciu teoretycznym znaczenie i klasyfikację procesów innowacyjnych w przedsiębiorstwach. W praktycznym ujęciu tego problemu posłużono się przykładem wdrożenia nowego produktu – chleba sojowego – w wybranym zakładzie piekarskim. Badana piekarnia przyjęła strategię kreowania zmian, poprzedzonych tworzeniem nowych potrzeb klienta. W opracowaniu przedstawiono przebieg prac nad nowym produktem, uwzględniając fazy koncepcji, akceptacji, czynności pilotowych, oraz uruchomienia produkcji i sprzedaży.
The access of Poland to the European Community market and the stream of EU merchandise into Poland calls for the necessity of innovative approaches for the solution of technological, technical and economical problems in various spheres of the free market economy . This paper presents a theoretical approach to the importance and classification of novel business practice. For practical purposes we analyzed the implementation of a new product- soy bread- in the products-on-offer list of a random bakery. Our observational research focused on the strategies of effectuating changes following the launch of a pull- strategy. This paper presents the complete scale of activities, encompassing the phase of conceptual design, getting the go-ahead, pilot projects, production start to sales and distribution.

Opis:: Liberalism and marxism are two forms of economism, which separate economic activity from ethics. The social teaching of the Church accepted continued by pope Benedict XVI recognizes the necessity of free market and limited intervention of the state in economy, but first of all postulates creativity of civil society in the field of economic life. The main arguments for observance of moral rules in the economic activity are following: 1. Every conscious and free men’s action is responsible for the effects – economic activity cannot be any exception; 2. The same ethics ought to be applied in the individual-private life and in the public domain – also economy; 3. Ethos of economic activity is connected with three virtues – truth, love and justice (also social justice); 4. Christian-personalistic ethics is based on the principles auxialiarity (personalism) and common good (solidarity). Economic activity completely separated from ethics is inhuman.

Opis:: Food safety and quality are main issues in food economics. The first part of this paper deals with food quality in Poland before and after the process of integration with the EU. The conducted analysis have confirmed the improvement of Polish food quality. The sanitary conditions of Polish processing plants have also improved. But the concentration of nitrates is still very high in some vegetable products. The second part contains an analysis of the Polish exports and imports and their changes in the economic transition process. Wheat imports were higher than exports. In addition to this, the survey proved that Poland is self-sufficient in food production and food safety has improved in the transition period.

Opis:: Globalization creates new conditions for managing the economy. It requires that the companies functioning on the local markets change their behavior and the methods of action they have employed till now. Companies, especially small and middle-size ones, are not able to compete with trans-national ones that have great funds at their disposal. They have to accept such a strategy of cooperation with them that would ensure a possibility of their survival and development. Companies functioning in a global scale are not interested in developing those areas in which the market is shallow. It is a field for developing local enterprise. It may be expected that it will be rather extensive.
