The Cu₇₀Co₃₀ alloy was developed by a non-equilibrium method of "mechanical alloying", from a mixture of copper powder and pure cobalt. The nanostructured alloy Cu-Co with grains with a size of about 12 nm, has different electromagnetic properties which are often superior to those of conventional solid alloy, because of the critical size effect. In this work we are interested in the electromagnetic properties of the synthesized material. Resistivity, eddy current and the magnetization evolution were studied. The frequencies selected for plotting the diagram vary from 100 Hz to 100 kHz. To satisfy the Weiss condition, the excitation field must be of the same order of magnitude as the field that characterizes the area of Weiss. For all prepared series, the evolution of the magnetization as a function of milling time was analyzed. The influence of milling time on the resistivity variation is shown.

Two-dimensional, circular plate was taken under consideration to design a band-gap structure. The analytical model was built using the Bessel functions and at the end the numerical examples were presented using MatLab and Ansys software. Results show that it is possible to create a band-gap structure, however further verification analysis must be made to improve given solution.

The paper aims to describe the potential use of phase trajectory for damage detection of structural components. The attractor of the examined trajectory is a static equilibrium point of the element being diagnosed. Two different damage indices are proposed to evaluate the severity of damage in the diagnosed component. The first one refers to distance between a point on a trajectory and the point which is the attractor of the trajectory. The other one relates to linearity of the Poincaré map. Effectiveness of the proposed method was evaluated on: a simple model with two degrees of freedom, data from the finite element method model of a cantilever beam with a crack, and experimental data for a cracked plate. With the proposed method, the damage can be quickly and effectively detected. By comparing the current trajectory with that from the previous diagnostic test, it is possible to establish if the nature of crack is either propagating or stationary.

W artykule skupiono się na wskazaniu pożądanych kierunków polityki gospodarczej w Polsce na tle jej potencjału i aktualnych uwarunkowań. Założono, że stan polskiej gospodarki jest zdeterminowany współoddziaływaniem procesów transformacji, globalizacji i integracji europejskiej. Ostatnie chronologicznie determinanty tego stanu to kryzys wywołany pandemią COVID-19 oraz agresja wojenna Rosji na Ukrainę. Wydarzenia te stworzyły zagrożenie stagflacją. Rosnące znaczenie Chin i wojna handlowa tego państwa z USA wraz z rosyjską agresją kruszą dotychczasowy międzynarodowy ład ekonomiczny. Procesy te zmieniają sytuację i perspektywy polskiej gospodarki, której sternicy powinni na nowo zdefiniować jej miejsce w nowym międzynarodowym ładzie gospodarczym, stopniowo wyłaniającym się pod wpływem tych wszystkich okoliczności. Niewiadomą jest finalny obraz następnej rzeczywistości gospodarczej. Jednak warto już teraz dążyć do włączenia polskich przedsiębiorstw w europejskie i światowe łańcuchy dostaw dzięki modernizacji technologicznej ich działalności. W obszarze polityki fiskalnej zamiast konkurować coraz niższymi stawkami i obciążeniami podatkowymi warto rozbudowywać infrastrukturę i instytucje publiczne. W odniesieniu do polityki monetarnej z powodu nieuchronnego wzrostu ryzyka ekonomicznego inwestycji zagranicznych w Polsce warto przyjąć euro i dzięki temu stworzyć bezpieczną perspektywę rozwoju gospodarczego.
The article focuses on indicating the desired directions of economic policy in Poland against the background of its potential and current conditions. It is assumed that the current condition of the Polish economy was determined by the interaction of the processes of transformation, privatization, globalization and European integration. The last chronological determinants of this state are the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine. These impacts created the threat of stagflation. The growing importance of China and the trade war between that country and the US, together with Russian aggression, are crushing the current international economic order. These processes are changing the situation and prospects of the Polish economy, whose managers should redefine its place in the new international economic order that is gradually emerging under the influence of all these circumstances. The final picture of the next economic reality is unknown. However, it is worth striving to include Polish enterprises in European and global supply chains thanks to the technological modernization of their activities. In the area of fiscal policy, instead of competing with ever lower tax rates, it is worth developing public infrastructure and institutions. With regard to monetary policy, due to the inevitable increase in the economic risk of foreign investments in Poland, it will be a good idea to adopt the euro and thus create a safe prospect for economic development.

In this study, the headlamp of a light commercial vehicle was optimized in the way of pedestrian safety. This work aims to prevent harms to pedestrians in the urban crashes. Finite element analysis models of current headlamp and impactors representing pedestrian body forms were created. Static, modal and dynamic/explicit analyses were carried out by using existing and optimized headlamp models. Both models were in the simulations under the same boundary conditions. The results of two conditions were compared with each other. The results showed that connection regions of the headlamp have a major effect on pedestrian safety in pedestrian-vehicle collisions.

One of the most important factors in hand-arm system research is the information about hand grip force and pressing force on a tool handle. This article focuses on an alternative method to measure grip force. For grip force, one of the most popular solutions is a special handle with force sensors. However, when we want to use it with regular hand tool like e.g. a drill, it seems to be uncomfortable because we must interfere in handle construction. A solution proposed in this article is based on technique for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by muscles, electromyography (EMG). It has been assumed that EMG signal will be proportional to muscle tension responsible for palm grip. This solution have one significant advantage when comparing to special handle. It can be used with regular tool without interfering in the handle. Measurement presented in this article have been carried out with use of surface electromyography (sEMG). It is not invasive method which enables to measure EMG signal through placing stickers with electrodes directly on a skin.

Research concerning the development of diagnostic methods of the state of the vehicle driving systems basic elements - have been carried on for many years. Modern diagnostic systems, regardless of being technically highly advanced or small degree only, concern about assessments of basic mechanical subsystems such as toothed gears or suspension elements. The information on state changes of mechanical systems can be obtained by an analysis of changes of nonlinear effects in such systems operations. Since the nonlinearity increase accompanies the system destruction, the separation of nonlinear parts of signals creates the possibility of the increase of an accuracy, reliability and application range of diagnostic methods. Technical state diagnostics for vehicles is much more difficult than for machines operating in stationary conditions. the main excitation source is an internal combustion engine, in which a rotational speed changes from an idle running (approximately 800 rpm) to a maximum rotational speed (e.g. above 5000 rpm). Thus, an application of classic analytical methods is not possible. the only solution is the transformation of the analysed signals into the "pseudostationary" ones, by taking into account changes in the engine rotational speed. One of the methods applied now a days is resampling (adaptation change of a signal time resolution in a digital form) performed on the basis of information concerning changes in an engine rotational speed. the signal from the sensor of the engine crankshaft location was used for the above application.

New models have been constructed for three physical systems. These models are characterized by a uniform and transparent mathematical description. The mathematical description belongs to the class of generalized functions, which means that all equations as well as their solutions are understood in the sense of weak topology. The elements of the set of generalized functions need not be differentiable (in the classical sense) at each point domain of the function. Analyzing of actual systems in the class of generalized functions does not require a division into subsystems, which simplifies significantly execution of all mathematical operations. As compared with the classical methods, those presented in the study allow for a much faster achievement of the goal.

In this paper, Hamiltonian approach is extended to investigate coupled nonlinear multi-degree-of-freedom oscillatory systems. At the beginning of the study, basic principles of Hamiltonian approach are provided for multiple coupled oscillators. In the next section, the amplitude-frequency relation for the two-degree-of-freedom nonlinear mechanical systems is obtained via Hamiltonian approach. The natural frequency expression is compared to show the agreement between the present and published results. Additionally, the approximate and numerical periodic solutions are plotted.

Recently we have used better solution to protect hand tool operators. In spite of our good intentions there is still endanger on high level vibration. For that reason we need to improve protection constantly. One of the most important properties of hand-arm system is knowledge about spectral response. In this article we try to obtain spectral response in narrow band-pass filters in accordance with IEC 1260:1995 and ANSI S1.11-2004 standards (implemented in LabVIEW software). To measure signals we used accelerometer placed on a wrist and on a tool. Of course the vibrations are attenuated by hand (cartilage, muscular tissue) but the question was what the shape of envelope in measurement range is. Our research used measurement on two different systems. The one was based on vibration inductor (laboratory environment), the second one used drill (real environment). This research is a part of a wider project to make virtual model of hand-arm system.

The research includes comparative analysis of the effect of the recording of weight vectors and input data of selected neural classifiers with fixed-point numbers. Research has been conducted due to insufficient literature on the influence of such a recording on the correct classification of vibroacoustic signals by neural networks. This current issue was brought up in authors' earlier researches, concerning realization of neural classifiers on programmable logical devices field programmable gate array, with the application of fixed-point processor. During the analysis, three types of neural classifiers were compared in the tests: classifier based on neural network - length vector quantization, classifier using radial neural networks - radial basis functions, and third - counter propagation neural network. The problem stated was to recognize technical state of gear transmission DMA-1 in variable operating conditions. Vectors, based on estimates derived from processed vibroacoustic signals were used as teaching material.

In the paper, two-stage signal pre-processing algorithm based on the filtration is presented. The developed algorithm is dedicated for the diagnostic programmable device PUD-2. The PUD-2 is the real-time analyzer based on programmable logic devices FPGA, as well as on ARM processor. Application of FPGA programmable devices and ARM processors allows to merge advantages of hardware and software implementations. Further, analysis of digital filters parameters in case of its efficient realization on the FPGA is presented. The aim of the study is to select digital-filter parameters in such way that the available resources of FPGA are used efficiently and filter characteristics meet established criteria. In the study, low pass finite impulse response and infinite impulse response filters are compared. For the first stage of the signal pre-processing algorithm, hardware implementation of the infinite impulse response filter is proposed, contrary to the second stage, where software realization of the finite impulse response filter is suggested. Combination of hardware and software filtration algorithms allows for fast and efficient realization of signal pre-processing algorithm used in analysis carried out on the PUD-2.

We report on some thermal properties (specific heat capacity C$\text{}_{p}$, thermal conductivity λ, and thermal diffusivity σ) in addition to the differential thermal analysis thermogram and thermogravimetric analysis for potassium hydrogen sulphate (KHS), KHSO$\text{}_{4}$. The accurate measurements of the above-mentioned parameters as functions of temperature revealed that the compound undergoes two structural phase transitions around 100°C and 175°C. It seems also likely that the compound behaves as a poorly conducting material and hence the maul mechanism of the heat transfer is due to phonons. The data are correlated to the crystal structure including the two different HSO¯$\text{}_{4}$ ions.

Opis:
Temperature dependence of the heat capacity of layered rare earth molybdates was measured in the temperature range from 0.4 K to 23 K. It is shown that the temperature dependence of the lattice heat capacity can be described by the "T", where n ≠ 3. It is shown that differently from KDy(MoO$\text{}_{4}$)$\text{}_{2}$ and CsDyEu(MoO$\text{}_{4}$)$\text{}_{2}$ for CsDy(MoO$\text{}_{4}$)$\text{}_{2}$ and CsGd(MoO$\text{}_{4}$)$\text{}_{2}$ we obtained the temperature term with n < 3, which can be connected with the 2D behaviour, manifested also in the so-called membrane effect.

Quite recently we modified the original model of Sarkar et al. for cubic metals in extending the ion-ion interaction, ion-electron interaction and the introduction of crystal equilibrium condition. We applied our scheme to alkali metals. We studied here the lattice dynamics of noble metals on our approach by calculating phonon dispersion relations along the three principal symmetry directions, [ξ00], [ξξ0] and [ξξξ] and the (θ-T) curves of three noble metals: copper, silver and gold. We obtained reasonable agreement with the experimental findings.
