W artykule przedstawiono propozycję wyboru metody eksploatacji ropy ciężkiej (asfaltowej) ze złoża "Lubaczów". Wyboru tego dokonano, biorąc pod uwagę własności fizykochemiczne i ich zmiany uzależnione od temperatury oraz własności geologiczno złożowe. Do wydobywania tej ropy proponuje się zastosowanie pomp wgłębnych żerdziowych z odpowiednią ich modyfikacją lub wgłębnych pomp śrubowych.
The proposal of choice of the heavy oil production method from ,,Lubaczów" reservoir is presented in article. This selection was made with regards of oil physicochemical properties and their change with temperature and geological properties of reservoir. Author proposes to heavy oil production the use of rod modified pumps or screw pumps.

The paper refers to selected issues of exploitation in the face of justice. The analysis is based on the definitions of exploitation contained in the Polish Penal and Civil Codes. The main goal is the identification of the necessary and sufficient conditions for the recognition of exploitation as being unjust. A supplementary question will refer to a specific type of justice which should be considered in this case. In this respect, we should consider retributive, distributive and social justice. Another important factor in this regard is the accepted theory of value. In the presented considerations, we will focus on the labour theory of value. The principal issue can be expressed by the questions whether exploitation is ipso facto unjust and how the phenomena of exploitation and justice are related to each other.

The article presents a method of solving the problem of the assessment of the exploitation policy. It was assumed that the evaluation of the exploitation policy can and should be carried out with reference to defined universal patterns. This allows comparability of such a policy, as well as making decisions regarding necessary changes. Therefore, there was proposed a way of building pattern models of the exploitation policy and there was carried out the assessment of the exploitation policies of the selected technical network systems, based on the selected taxonomic model.

The Hungarian Transdanubian site of Érd, where a Mousterian industry and abundant osteological material were discovered in the early 1960s is well known to prehistorians. The remains of megaherbivores (Mammuthus primigenius, Coelodonta antiquitatis) are re-examined here under the taphonomic and archaeozoological components in order to complete the Hungarian and European s.l. data and reassess the potential exploitation of these two pachyderms in the Neanderthal diet and economy. The cut marks, the intense activity of carnivores/hyenas and the skeletal profiles indicate a mixed origin of the carcasses. Mortality patterns of rhinoceros are characterized by the presence of young, subadult and adults, and suggest multiple acquisition by active scavenging and/or hunting with quick access. Skeletal profiles suggest a selective transport of rich/nutritive elements by humans to the site. The cut marks and fracturing of some elements (in situ butchery treatment) confirm that Neanderthals consumed these species on site and that they had at least partial primary access. The mode of acquisition seems active with rapid access for a young mammoth. Érd confirms the Neanderthal exploitation of rhinos and mammoths in their steppic environment during the Middle Palaeolithic. Érd is currently the only Hungarian Middle Palaeolithic site with a proven exploitation and consumption of these megaherbivores.

W pracy przedstawiono koncepcje uzyskania modelu matematycznego kosztów eksploatacji w tym diagnozowania obiektów technicznych, będących składnikami kosztów całkowitych i logistycznych systemu działania. Zaproponowano także program badań eksperymentalnych kosztów, którego zrealizowanie umożliwi uzyskanie omówionych modeli.
In the paper there was presented a conception of obtaining of the exploitation costs mathematical model, including diagnosing of technical objects, that are components of total and logistics costs of the operation system. The costs experimental research program was proposed. After accomplishing the program, it will enable reaching the described models.

The exploitation reliability of the contemporary light commercial vehicles of four makes is subject to a quantitative analysis in the article. The issue concerning the quantitative evaluation of the operational reliability of the fleet of the commercial vehicles in the transport company and their selection for this fleet is not very numerously described in the literature. For the purposes of evaluating the operational reliability, results of monitoring failures of 115 vehicles during their several years of exploitation in the similar conditions in the urban area and its surroundings were used. A proposed test method uses the relative quantitative measures of the operational reliability indices targeted at the mileage of vehicles and frequency of the failures. The aforementioned enabled to identify the make of the vehicles, which during exploitation was characterized by the lowest failure frequency and thus reliability. This, in turn, allowed for a favorable selection of the vehicles within the next years of the operation of the company. The results of the study confirmed the possibility of using the proposed method to evaluate the operational reliability of the commercial vehicles in any transport company.

The "Trepça" mine in Stanterg consists from several mineral bodies, which if compared to the mineral bodies in the North and South part of mine can be found in different size. Their size in the horizontal plane ranges from 300–7000 m2 and as a matter of fact in the primary exploitation phase, only about two of thirds part of ore is used, while the remaining ore is used like pillars in the secondary stage with special methods. Since the beginning of exploitation at "Trepça" mine landfill, the security pillars are left in dimensions 10 x 10 m, on the schedule of chess fields, at distances from 16 to 20 m and all pillars at those distances are stable and over-dimensioned. In this paper we investigate the stability of the securing pillars with dimensions 10 x 10 m, with surface S = a * b = 10 * 10 = 100 m2 with a distance between them of 10 to 22 m. Pillar stability analysis aims to increase the safety factor along with the increase of exploitation depth.

Transportowe systemy nadzoru są to systemy, których celem jest wykrywanie zagrożeń występujących w procesie transportowym. Zapewniają bezpieczeństwo ludziom, a także ochronę przewożonym towarom zarówno w obiektach stałych, jak i ruchomych. Zachowanie zdatności jest istotnym warunkiem ich poprawnej pracy. W referacie zaprezentowano metodę optymalizacji przeglądów okresowych, która uwzględnia wybrane własności niezawodnościowe (intensywność uszkodzeń) i eksploatacyjne (intensywność napraw, intensywności realizacji przeglądów). Kryterium optymalizacyjne maksymalizuje wartość wskaźnika gotowości.
Monitoring transport systems are the systems which task is detection of hazards occurring in the transport process. They assure the safety of people as well as protection of the carried goods in the stationary and mobile objects. Preservation of their ability is the essential condition of their correct operation. Paper presents method of optimization of the periodical surveys, which takes into consideration the chosen factors of reliability (failure rate) and exploitation (repair rate, intensity of survey realization). Optimization criterion is the maximization of the rate of availability.

Electronic systems work in different conditions of exploitation. Because of specific nature of their application (such as transport for example), they should be characterized by a high level of coefficient of the readiness. When carrying out a proper reliability analysis of systems can be determined such reliability structures, which will be characterized by the appropriate values of rates of reliability. Such an approach provides to improvement of the reliability of the designed systems. However not to the full extent, it is not possible to achieve the system's readiness at the appropriately high level to the full extent. The paper presents a methodology to optimize the process of exploitation these systems, taking into account economic conditions, such as of financial expenses designed on periodical reviews and the effectiveness of their use. There is presented the dependence that maximizes the value of the coefficient of the readiness in the defined reliability (failures rate), exploitation (intensity of repairs, intensity of maintenance service) and economic conditions (financial outlays earmarked for periodic inspections).

Prowadzenie eksploatacji złóż powoduje naruszenie elementów środowiska naturalnego. Wpływ ten, przejawiający się w postaci różnego rodzaju skutków, obejmuje niemal wszystkie elementy środowiska na terenach górniczych. Z uwagi na złożoność procesów i zjawisk zachodzących w trakcie lub na skutek prowadzenia eksploatacji oraz wielokierunkowość przeobrażeń terenu w artykule przeanalizowano systematykę wpływów działalności górniczej na środowisko. Dokonano oceny wpływu górnictwa na poszczególne komponenty środowiska przyrodniczego na przykładzie kopalń kruszyw naturalnych. Na tej podstawie określono siłę potencjalnych oddziaływań.
Extraction of mineral deposits may affect components of natural environment. In mining areas this influence, manifested in different environmental effects, comprises virtually all components of environment. In this article systematics of environmental effects of mining activity was analyzed. A complexity of processes and phenomena occurring during and after extraction, as well as multidimensional character of mining area transformations were considered. The assessment of mining activities on particular components of environment was carried out using natural aggregates quarries as an example. This was an basis to assess the strength of potential effects.

Efektywność produkcji rolniczej jest w istotnym stopniu uzależniona od kosztów eksploatacji maszyn i urządzeń. Użytkownicy maszyn mogą mieć wpływ na wysokość tych kosztów. Poddano analizie koszty użytkowania i obsługi technicznej wybranej grupy maszyn w Kombinacie Rolnym Kietrz Sp. z o.o. Badania wykazały istotne różnice wartościowe w kosztach użytkowania maszyn w wybranych grupach objętych analizą.
Agriculture's efficiency is dependent from machines and devices exploitation's costs. Machines users can have influence on height of these costs. Cost of usage and costs of technical service for chosen group of machines in Kombinat Rolny Kietrz sp. z o.o., have been analyzed in this article. Research had shown value differences between costs of machine usage in analyzed groups.
