Opis:: The paper presents the importance of regional origin of food products and its application in offensive strategies. The presumed incompatibility of consumers? attitude and their actual behaviour when purchasing regional products was investigated and also the importance of regional origin of food products for consumers? behaviour in Poznań and Berlin was compared.
W pracy przedstawiono znaczenie regionalnego pochodzenia artykułów spożywczych oraz jego wykorzystanie w ofensywnych strategiach. Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników stwierdzono, iż pierwszorzędnymi kryteriami uwzględnianymi przez konsumentów przy zakupie artykułów spożywczych są smak i świeżość tych produktów, dlatego też podstawą strategii sprzedaży produktów regionalnych musi być konsekwentna orientacja na jakość. Ponadto niezbędnym warunkiem powodzenia owej strategii jest istnienie pozytywnego wizerunku regionu przenoszonego w dalszej kolejności na oferowane produkty.Oprócz tego w pracy wykazano, że produkty pochodzące z różnych regionów są różnie postrzegane przez konsumentów, a także stwierdzono istniejącą rozbieżność między nastawieniem klientów a ich faktycznym zachowaniem przy zakupie. Poza tym ustalono, iż konsumenci wykazują gotowość zapłacenia wyższej ceny za produkty regionalne, która w praktyce jest jednak ograniczona, ale która może zostać wykorzystana w strategiach sprzedaży produktów spożywczych zorientowanych na pochodzenie.

Opis:: The main purpose of this article is to present the role of public opinion polls and political consulting on Polish political scene. The article contains results of surveys made in most Polish regions in 2013 and 2014 years. Firstly, there is described theory of public opinion poll before elections and after them based on the literature of public opinion polls. In this part reader either can find some information about how the public opinion polls are perceived from Polish citizens’ perspective. Secondly, there is presented the role of political consulting on Polish political scene. The conclusion confirms that Polish citizens have perceived considerable influence of public opinion polls and political consulting in Polish public policy.

Opis:: In the article the current state of inventive activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan was considered. In particular , the analysis of the dynamics of the number of patents granted for inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks and service marks were given. The regional differences are investigated, the dominant region of Kazakhstan in terms of innovation are highlighted. In the article the results of the expert survey of patent attorneys were shown, in order to identify the main problems of functioning of the inventive activity.

Opis:: In the paper the procedure for selecting the best nonparametric model for a given problem of regression is presented. This procedure has two stages. In the first one, many nonparametric models of regression, for different parameters settings, are built. Then the model with the smallest mean squared error is chosen. In the second stage, the method for the reduction of insignificant predictors is used. This procedure is applied to modelling household savings.

The article presents the results of empirical research on the process of internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises. The study contains the results of the influence of selected factors on the internationalization processes in enterprises. An important part of the research is to identify the impact of internationalization on the development of the company. In summary indicated the theoretical and practical implications.

Opis:: This article presents the perception of risk by the local government, which is associated with the process of selection debt, borrowing, debt, and the occurrence of risk factors during the use of debt instruments. The problem of excessive debt, or making a wrong decision regarding the choice of debt instrument becomes important from the point of view of maintaining liquidity at a time, as well as to ensure an adequate level of goods and services to society. Opis:: The situation of the Stock Exchange in Warsaw affect both changes in the Polish sector of economy, political or financial, as well as changes in the financial markets in other countries. Analyzing stock market trading indices representing different countries, you can see the similarities in the behavior of trading indexes. The study showed that the trend in the global market shares (for which follow other global exchanges) determines the New York Stock Exchange. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of the world's largest financial markets in the Polish financial market. The analysis will be conducted on the basis of quotations selected indexes representing various countries.

Opis:: The purpose of the article is to check if proposed method of assessing companies can point out one of the five quantile portfolios that systematically are giving better performance than a benchmark portfolio. Companies are chosen to portfolios due to their position in the ranking that is constructed on the base of the nominal values of chosen financial ratios and a relative growth rate of them. The author uses data of companies listed on the WSE between 2001 and 2010. The rankings and portfolios are built separately for each year. As a result, it can be stated that the second portfolio and the forth portfolio of the ranking are systematically giving higher rate of return than the benchmark portfolio. Among that two portfolios, the second portfolio of the ranking gives higher geometric average return. Moreover, the forth portfolio has lower average risk than the second portfolio of the ranking. However, the Sharpe ratio cannot unambiguously points out one of analysed portfolios is better than the other.
