Opis:: Ranggeh River is one of the inlets of Lake Maninjau (West Sumatra, Indonesia), which has a vital role in supporting the life of native fish. Increasing anthropogenic activities (agriculture and human settlements) around the river can harm benthic macroinvertebrates as natural food for fish. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze and observe water quality changes and their impact on the benthic macroinvertebrate communities in the Ranggeh River. Sampling was conducted from February to August 2019 using the Hess Sampler tool. The results indicate that the anthropogenic impacts around the Ranggeh River on water quality has changed the macroinvertebrate benthic community structures (composition, abundance, and biological index). Furthermore, the Ephemeroptera Plecoptera and Trichoptera (EPT) number of taxa index were superior in reflecting disturbances in the Ranggeh River compared to the Family Biotic Index (FBI) and the Percent Model Affinity (PMA). In conclusion, the anthropogenic effect on the macroinvertebrate community in the Ranggeh River prominently was caused by habitat changes rather than enrichment by nutrients (TN and TP).

Głównym celem Platformy jest wspieranie rozwoju firm, a w szczególności Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorstw poprzez działania zmierzające do realizowania wspólnych projektów badawczo-rozwojowych, zarówno w ramach polskiej Platformy, jak i projektów w powiązaniu z innymi Platformami Technologicznymi, a w szczególności Narodowymi Platformami Technologicznymi ManuFuture.
The paper presents the genesis, goals and structure of Polish Technological Platform of Production Processes. The Platform is coordinated by CAMT - Centre for Advanced Manunfacturing Technologies at the Wroclaw University of Technology. The Platform got the status of National ManuFuture Platform. The main goal of the Platform is support of development of industrial companies, especially SMEs through activities targeting realisation of common R&D projects, within the Platform, as well as projects within cooperation with other Technological Platforms, especially with ManuFuture National Technological Platforms.

Opis:: The author of the article poses the following question: Why would we find Dewey's classic pragmatism interesting and is it true that everything that is really important can be found in the works of his followers: Rorty and Shuterman. The author emphasizes that in her narrative she is mostly interested in more primal Dewey whose philosophical thoughts, naturalistic empiricism, as he himself called his philosophy, as well as the aesthetic conc ept s are not subject to frequent debates in our coun try She indicates that there are certain abuses in the interpretation of Dewey's philosophy. On e of them is, for example, treating Dewey as a leftist philosopher who has not had much to offer when it come s to the approach to tradition and history. The author emphasizes that although Dewey's point of view was very far from being right-wing or far from accept ing nationalism, he is not a left-wing thinker. Dewey is a philosopher who remains extremely attached to tradition and he believes that knowledge about history is crucial to understand philosophy and culture. The author specifically refers to emphasize that Dewey reminds us of what full of life and contemporary art really is. It stems from the rhythm and needs of social life and it expresses beliefs of a given community or society.

Opis:: Celem przedstawionych badań było określenie stanu ekologicznego Strugi Dormowskiej na podstawie struktury jakościowej i ilościowej bentosu oraz ichtiofauny, a także porównanie wyników otrzymanych na bazie wskaźników i indeksów biologicznych w ciągu kilkudziesięciu lat. Warunki środowiskowe cieku na odcinkach wytypowanych do badań różniły się między sobą pod względem morfometrii koryta, substratu dennego, temperatury i zawartości tlenu, a także wartości wskaźników i indeksów biologicznych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań należy przyjąć, że wody Strugi Dormowskiej kwalifikują się do trzeciej klasy jakości wód. Niewątpliwy wpływ na stan ekologiczny rozpatrywanego cieku ma położenie zlewni, która obejmuje głównie obszary o charakterze rolniczym. Rzeka przepływa także przez tereny o wysokim potencjale turystyczno-rekreacyjnym, co może oddziaływać na strukturę jakościową i ilościową organizmów wskaźnikowych.
The aim of this study was to determine the ecological status of Struga Dormowska stream, based on qualitative and quantitative structure of benthic macroinvertebrates and ichthyofauna. The obtained results were compared to other studies, conducted for several decades. Based on the environmental conditions, research sites were varied due to riverbed morphometry, bottom substrate, temperature, dissolved oxygen and values of biological indicators and indices. Based on the obtained results, Struga Dormowska stream represent a third, sufficient class of water quality. The undoubted impact on ecological status of Struga Dormowska stream, has a location of catchment, which mainly covers the agricultural areas. The river also flows through areas with high potential for tourism and recreation, which may affect the species composition of benthic macroinvertebrates and fish.
