The article deals with the issue of incorporating the school subject technology, with its interactive content, into the system of educational subjects at elementary school. It should make a significant contribution to the technical education of pupils and their future professional orientation. Technical education is an organic part of general education, as was also underlined by the UNESCO World Organization. Already in 1974, it announced a program according to which technical education should aim at acquiring the basic knowledge in the field of technology and its practical application in solving technical problems. Our State Educational Program supports a comprehensive approach to developing pupils‘ ability to learn, act, evaluate, understand and comprehend, at a given level of education. It is a starting point and a binding document for creating an individual school educational program that takes into account specific local and regional conditions and needs.

In the article, the authors refer to the entrepreneurial mindset which is understood as a set of personal characteristics of humans that, regardless of one's work title and duties, allow for active participation and production of changes in the socio-economic life. The causes of the low level of Poles' entrepreneurship may be sought in the approach to the education of children and young people who are taught through imitation (imitative learning) from the very beginning of their education, reproducing schemes and having very little opportunities to shape/develop/improve entrepreneurial attitudes. In order for the changes in education to take effect, teachers should have an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to develop this attitude in children. The authors briefly present the organization of education for entrepreneurship in Poland and Finland with regard to the European regulations in this area. The question of how entrepreneurship is understood and whether studying (the process of becoming a teacher) favors development/improvement of teachers' entrepreneurial mindset are raised. To answer those questions, the authors performed comparative analysis of entrepreneurship education curricula for students, aiming to become pre and primary school teachers, studying at two selected universities - Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan/Poland and the Kajaani University in Oulu/Finland.

The article highlights the obtained results on conducting an institutional audit of the professional military education system in educational institutions of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The directions of further development of institutional audit mechanisms for evaluation of professional military education quality on the way to achieving compatibility of training processes according to NATO standards were substantiated. The results of the experiment confirm that institutional audit is a common element on the way to achieve compatibility of personnel training processes on NATO quality principles. The authors of the article use a system of general scientific and special methods of theoretical and empirical research (systematization, generalization, systematic approach) and methods of expert evaluation.

Opis:
Health education, including nutrition education, is defined as a process which is aimed at teaching a proper lifestyle, maintaining good health, strengthening it and creating an environment which would be beneficial to physical and mental health. Properly planned and conducted education brings both health and economic benefits and is a long-term investment in the health of the population. Providing education is especially needed among the youngest children, beginning from children at the preschool age. Forming proper eating behaviors from the earliest age of a child may prevent the development of diseases in older age, for example overweight and obesity, accompanying diseases such as diabetes, atherosclerosis or malignancies. Thus, it is necessary to implement educational programs which supplement preschool education and school health education. A response to the needs of the population was the creation and implementation of the authors’ own educational program “Children’s Academy of Culinary Art”, whose aim was to increase children’s interest in proper nutrition and form proper eating habits which will improve health in future. The program consisted of a technological module which included practical classes in technological workshops and an educational one which consisted of theoretical and practical parts. The huge success of both editions of the program convinced the authors of the necessity and importance of further actions connected with nutrition education.
Edukację zdrowotną, w tym także żywieniową, definiuje się jako proces służący nauce sposobu życia, mający na celu zachowanie zdrowia oraz wzmacnianie go, a także tworzenie środowiska sprzyjającego zachowaniu dobrostanu fizycznego i psychicznego. Prawidłowo zaplanowana oraz przeprowadzona edukacja niesie za sobą zarówno efekty zdrowotne, jak i ekonomiczne, ponadto stanowi długofalową inwestycję w zdrowie populacji. Edukacja potrzebna jest szczególnie w najmłodszej grupie wiekowej, począwszy od dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Kształtowanie prawidłowych zachowań żywieniowych już od najmłodszych lat życia dziecka może zapobiec rozwojowi w starszym wieku m.in. nadwagi oraz otyłości, jak również chorób towarzyszących, takich jak cukrzyca, miażdżyca czy nowotwory. Konieczne staje się zatem realizowanie programów edukacyjnych, uzupełniających przedszkolną oraz szkolną edukację zdrowotną. Odpowiedzią na potrzeby populacyjne było stworzenie i przeprowadzenie autorskiego programu edukacyjnego „Dziecięca Akademia Sztuki Kulinarnej”, który miał na celu zwiększenie zainteresowania dzieci tematyką prawidłowego odżywiania oraz wykształcenie prawidłowych nawyków żywieniowych, mających w przyszłości wpłynąć na poprawę ich zdrowia. Program składał się z modułu technologicznego, uwzględniającego zajęcia praktyczne w pracowniach technologicznych, oraz edukacyjnego, który obejmował część teoretyczną i ćwiczeniową. Duży sukces obu edycji programu utwierdził Autorów w przekonaniu o konieczności i istotności prowadzenia dalszych działań związanych z edukacją żywieniową.

Pełniąc nasze obowiązki jako projektanci i inspektorzy nadzory inwestorskiego, ale również jako nauczyciele akademiccy, możemy stwierdzić z pełną odpowiedzialnością, że obecnie istniejące programy nauczania na uczelniach technicznych kształcących przyszłych inżynierów budownictwa nie przygotowują ich do działań w tak wrażliwej materii, jaką są budynki i budowle zabytkowe. Autorzy mają nadzieję, że poruszony w artykule problem stanie się początkiem owocnej dyskusji nad przygotowaniem lepszego i dokładniejszego programu nauczania, co pozwoli na właściwe ratowanie dziedzictwa zarówno narodowego, jak i światowego.
In the article authors would like to discuss some important problems seen through the eyes of ours and other civil engineers who deal with these issues in their daily professional work, which refer to the way of educating those people who have real, and therefore the greatest, infl uence on the way our heritage is being modelled. By carrying out our duties as designers and resident engineers, as well as university teachers, we can say with full responsibility that the current curricular content designed for engineering and technology universities, which is aimed at educating future civil engineers, does not prepare them to perform work in such a sensitive area as historic buildings and structures. The authors hope that the problem raised in this article will spark off a fruitful discussion on preparing better and more precise educational program which will save both the national and the world heritage.

The paper deals with the topic of multicultural education which was influenced by J. A. Komenský. The introduction presents Komenský as one of the first promoters of multicultural education. The following part is dedicated to research into the tolerance of Czech citizens towards other minorities. The author’s survey involving the attitudes of multicultural tolerance in groups of UJAK students in Prague shows the importance of Komenský’s concepts for the current Czech society.
Příspěvek se věnuje tématu multikulturní výchovy a vlivu J. A. Komenského na ní. Komenský je v článku představen jako jeden z prvních propagátorů multikulturní výchovy. Následuje část, kde je věnován prostor výzkumům tolerance občanů ČR k jiným minoritám. Je stručně popsán i průzkum autorky k postojům multikulturní tolerance ve skupinách studentů UJAK. Na závěr je vysvětlena důležitost multikulturní výchovy a myšlenek Jana Amose Komenského pro současnou českou společnost.

The paper deals with university knowledge transfer. The adjustment of relations between universities and enterprises makes knowledge transfer a necessary requirement for university development to ensure the implementation of market-oriented educational programs. The paper proposes use of modular competency-based and ontological approaches to ensure the university knowledge transfer. The initial data is presented in the databases of the university, authorized bodies of education and science, enterprises, business structures and professional standards. This data is processed and scanned for knowledge to be put into the knowledge database with technological (informational) and modular competency-based approaches. As part of a market-oriented innovation university concept the task is to improve the education system in relation to skills development. To solve this problem it is necessary to build a distributed information system of university knowledge transfer. It is necessary to create a unified educational space – an educational portal – to ensure the university knowledge transfer between all participants - teachers, students and employers. The study offers an architectural solution for a distributed information system.
Artykuł dotyczy transferu wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Dostosowanie relacji między uniwersytetami a przedsiębiorstwami sprawia, że transfer wiedzy jest niezbędnym warunkiem rozwoju uniwersytetów, aby zapewnić realizację programów edukacyjnych zorientowanych na rynek. W artykule zaproponowano zastosowanie modułowego podejścia opartego na kompetencjach i ontologii, aby zapewnić transfer wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Wstępne dane są prezentowane w bazach danych uniwersytetu, upoważnionych organów oświaty i nauki, przedsiębiorstw, struktur biznesowych i standardów zawodowych. Dane te są przetwarzane i skanowane w celu umieszczenia wiedzy w bazie wiedzy za pomocą technologicznych (informacyjnych) i modułowych podejść opartych na kompetencjach. W ramach zorientowanej rynkowo koncepcji uniwersytetów innowacyjnych zadaniem jest ulepszenie systemu edukacji w odniesieniu do rozwoju umiejętności. Aby rozwiązać ten problem, konieczne jest zbudowanie rozproszonego systemu informacji o transferze wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Konieczne jest stworzenie jednolitej przestrzeni edukacyjnej – portalu edukacyjnego – aby zapewnić transfer wiedzy uniwersyteckiej między wszystkimi uczestnikami – nauczycielami, studentami i pracodawcami. Badanie oferuje rozwiązanie architektoniczne dla rozproszonego systemu informatycznego.

Today’s reality is full of hazards of various origins. Find out about it is very easy – just turn on the TV or radio to hear how many dangerous things happening in the country and the world. We always hear about the dangers of road, terrorist attacks, natural hazards in the form of typhoons, floods, earthquakes and fires, risks chemicals, as well as the threats caused by all kinds of persecution and deviations. The threat of aggression can also cause immediate environment, the desire for profit or relatively easy access to various drugs – alcohol, cigarettes, boosters, drugs. Therefore, an important aspect is to raise public awareness on the subject. Safety education begins in pre-school and continues throughout the cycle of schooling. In addition, all services increasingly provide programs and activities in this field. This article aims to demonstrate the importance of „Education for Security” and the implementation of programs outside of school. The authors show a variety of programs conducted by various departments and suggest a uniform and comprehensive training program „Education for Security”.
Dzisiejsza rzeczywistość jest pełna zagrożeń różnego pochodzenia. Przekonać się o tym jest bardzo łatwo – wystarczy włączyć telewizor czy radio, by usłyszeć, ile niebezpiecznych rzeczy dzieje się w kraju i na świecie. Ciągle słyszymy o zagrożeniach drogowych, atakami terrorystycznymi, zagrożeniach naturalnych w postaci tajfunów, powodzi, trzęsień ziemi czy pożarów, zagrożeniach chemicznych, a także spowodowanych różnego rodzaju prześladowaniami i dewiacjami. Zagrożenie może powodować również agresja najbliższego otoczenia, chęć zysku czy stosunkowo łatwy dostęp do różnorakich używek – alkohol, papierosy, dopalacze, narkotyki. Dlatego ważnym aspektem jest podnoszenie świadomości społeczeństwa w tym temacie. Edukacja w zakresie bezpieczeństwa rozpoczyna się już w nauczaniu przedszkolnym i kontynuowana jest w całym cyklu szkolnym. Dodatkowo wszystkie służby coraz częściej organizują programy i zajęcia z tego zakresu. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu pokazanie znaczenia „Edukacji dla bezpieczeństwa” oraz realizowanie programów pozaszkolnych. Autorzy pokazują różnorodność programów prowadzonych przez różne służby oraz sugerują stworzenie jednolitego i kompleksowego programu szkolenia z zakresu „Edukacji dla bezpieczeństwa”.

Przedstawiono ten aspekt w ujęciu teoretycznym oraz praktycznym na przykładzie programu „Przedszkolak w świecie mediów” – realizowanego w Niepublicznym Naukowym Przedszkolu Integracyjnym Mini College w Kielcach. Jest to jeden ze sposobów edukacji medialnej, która w przekonaniu dyrekcji wspomnianego przedszkola, kadry pedagogicznej oraz rodziców przedszkolaków, jest konieczna w XXI w. Współcześnie dzieci są odbiorcami mediów od najmłodszych lat. Często radzą sobie również z obsługą urządzeń technologicznych. Mimo to kompetencje instrumentalne nie wystarczą, gdyż zewsząd napływają do nich różnego typu przekazy medialne. W związku z tym edukację medialną należy wprowadzać od etapu przedszkolnego. Dzieci powinny zdawać sobie sprawę zarówno z korzyści, jak i zagrożeń płynących z mediów. Zadaniem nauczyciela jest dać im wskazówki do odbioru mediów, by racjonalnie z nich korzystały, czerpiąc z tego zarówno zabawę, jak i wiedzę.
The article deals with the training of media competence in children of preschool age. We present this aspect in terms of theoretical and practical on the example of the program – “Preschool in the media world” – realized in Non-Public Scientific Integration Nursery Mini College in Kielce. This is one of the ways of media education, which, in the management of the said kindergarten, teaching staff and parents of preschoolers, is necessary in the twenty-first century. Today children are the recipients of the media from an early age. Often they cope well with the support of technology. Despite this, the competence of instrumental not enough, because everywhere are coming to these different types of media messages. Therefore media education should be introduced from kindergarten to accompany children in the media world. Children should be aware of both the benefits and risks of the media. The teacher’s task is to give them directions to the reception of the media to reasonably benefit from them, drawing from both the fun, as well as knowledge.

While reviewing the modern theoretical framework of Bulgarian preschool education and some significant reforms in preschool education in Slovakia, the current paper presents the contemporary situation of preschool education in Bulgaria and Slovakia and considers some converging points between them, but some differences as well. Since having a university education for future kindergarten teachers is influencing their future pedagogical interaction with children, the university level preparation of future kindergarten teachers is also detailed.

The article is dedicated to the problem of formation of spatial semantic-symbolic knowledge system of children with moderate and severe mental retardation. The peculiarities of assimilation spatial semantic-symbolic knowledge system (henceforth we use abbreviation: spatial semantic-symbolic knowledge system - SSSKS) children with moderate to severe mental retardation (henceforth we use abbreviation: moderate to severe mental retardation - MSMR) based on the review of general and special pedagogical, psychological and methodological literature, analysis of practices are revealed in the article. The described principles formed the basis of educational and correctional programs. As the level of cognitive capabilities children with MSMR (8-12 years) approximately is such as the level of preschool children with typical development and potentials for assimilation of knowledge we proposed a brief analysis of Ukrainian software development of preschool children. The study of spatial sequence of signs and symbols and their themes is identified in the article. According to the results of this work the indicative model is identified which reflects the levels of difficulty of signs and symbols and offered to study at each age period, the skills and knowledge are given.
