    The aim of this paper is to try and highlight the fecund relationship between the first proclamation and a kerygmatic type of catechesis as this is found in the Directory for Catechesis promulgated by the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New  Evangelization. In Evangelii Gaudium, the first proclamation has been given a renewed meaning in that it is not only considered as the first proclamation in time, but it is extended as a primary proclamation throughout the life of the person. The kerygmatic type of catechesis posited in the Directory seeks to present Jesus Christ in a way in which is the Good News becomes an accompanying factor throughout the entire life of the person. It is this person-centredness which is at the basis of the relationship between the first proclamation and a kerygmatic type of catechesis.

    Opis:
    The most recently published Directory for Catechesis addresses catechesis for the disabled within the totality of the Church’s pastoral ministry. The dignity of every person as a child of God, which is granted through the Sacrament of Baptism when a person is incorporated into the Body of Christ, is the basis for the Church’s pastoral care, which includes catechesis, of the disabled. The presence of the disabled within the ecclesial community and secular society is a gift, since such individuals enrich their environment and inspire others to perform good deeds. The disabled both receive and proclaim God’s word just as they also share in the priestly ministry of the faithful and participate in the liturgy. However, it is important for the Church to adjust how She ministers to the disabled in order to meet their personal needs and abilities and to adapt Her approach properly to apostolic activity, especially giving witness by living a Christian life.

It can’t be possible to religious teaching without thinking about adreessees and their circumstances. Directory marks that still adressees of catechesis is every man. But this man is concrete and living in specific period and culture. Tis is always “new” man. In this meaning directory talks about new adressees of catechesis, and describes what does this “new” relies.
    Wśród wielu ważnych kwestii podjętych przez Dyrektorium ogólne o katechizacji, znalazła się i ta, dotycząca adresatów katechezy. Nie sposób skutecznie katechizować bez namysłu nad adresatami i ich specyfiką. Dyrektorium podkreśla, że niezmiennie adresatem katechezy jest każdy człowiek. Jednak człowiek ten jest konkretny, żyjący w danej epoce i kulturze, inaczej mówiąc jest to człowiek zawsze „nowy”. W tym znaczeniu dyrektorium mówi o nowych adresatach katechezy, jednocześnie opisując na czym ta „nowość” polega dzisiaj.

    Te Article called ‘New forums for catechesis’ is a reflection based on General Directory for Catechesis from year 1997. Twenty years that have passed since the Directory was published is an opportunity to seek for the new challenges and perspectives. Te analysis of a current ministrative and catechetical situation shows a range of issues. Te primary aim of this text is to confront two problems: digital globalisation and families’ situation( the need for catechesis of family). According to the author these two areas are the main forums of modern catechesis.
    Artykuł zatytułowany Nowe fora katechezy to refleksja w oparciu o Dyrektorium Ogólne o Katechizacji z 1997 roku. Mijające dwadzieścia lat od powstania dokumentu to okazja do podjęcia poszukiwań nowych wyzwaniach i perspektyw. Analiza obecnej sytuacji duszpasterskiej i katechetycznej nakreśla pewną panoramę zagadnień. Celem szczegółowym poniższego tekstu jest wyakcentowanie dwóch wybranych wyzwań: cyfrowej globalizacji i sytuacji rodziny (potrzeba katechezy rodzinnej i rodziny). Zdaniem autora to właśnie te dwie rzeczywistości tworzą najbardziej istotne i aktualne fora współczesnej katechezy.

    Tis article deepens the catechetical thinking in Italy for the last two decades,from the publication of the General Directory for catechesis.For analysing the following problem the catechetical view will be presented and it includes mostly the following important documents:The catechesis renewal,Meeting Jesus and The General Directory for catechesis. Te recent reflection is proposed through the revision of the catechetical issues of all the Italian Dioceses during the five National Italian conferences titled, In Jesus Christ,The new humanism. It must be noted that the General Directory for Catechesis has been demonstrated to be a valid instrument for the formation of the catechists and the transfer of evangelical vitality for the Dioceses and the parishes.With this document, there was a rise in the catechetical innitiatives guided mainly by the priests and the laity involved in this sector. During the years 1997- 2017 there was noted a return in the formation of the catechists and the preparation of catechesis.Infront of the new Challenges socio-political catechesis is shown as an important instrument for the Education of faith and for the intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
    Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia myśl katechetyczną we Włoszech w ostatnim dwudziestoleciu od pojawienia się Dyrektorium ogólnego o katechizacji. Dla omówienia tematu została przedstawiona panorama katechetyczna zawarta w ważniejszych dokumentach: Odnowa katechezy, Spotykamy Jezusa i oczywiście Dyrektorium Ogólne o katechizacji. Do refleksji dołączono przemyślenia katechetyczne reprezentantów wszystkich diecezji włoskich podczas 5 Krajowej Konferencji zatytułowanej W Jezusie Chrystusie nowy humanizm. DOK okazał się dobrym narzędziem w kształtowaniu katechetów oraz przekazaniu witalności ewangelizacyjnej diecezjom i parafiom. Dzięki temu dokumentowi pojawiło się wiele inicjatyw katechetycznych prowadzonych głównie przez duchowieństwo i zaangażowane osoby świeckie. W omawianym okresie zauważono zwrot w formacji katechetów i kształceniu katechetyków. W obliczu nowych wyzwań społeczno-politycznych katecheza ciągle pozostaje istotnym instrumentem wychowania do wiary oraz dialogu międzykulturowego i międzyreligijnego.

    Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie: na ile nowe Dyrektorium o katechizacji inspiruje się natchnionym przez Boga Pismem Świętym? Badania wykazały, że dokument stanowi kolejne, dynamiczne rozwinięcie dwóch wcześniejszych tekstów, z którymi zachowuje ciągłość, ale różni się nowym usystematyzowaniem ujęcia formacji katechetów i oczywiście uwzględnieniem dorobku katechetyków oraz współczesnego Magisterium Kościoła. Bogactwo cytatów z Pisma św., zawarte w dyrektorium, nie tylko potwierdza biblijny charakter katechezy, ale z nowym dynamizmem wskazuje możliwości biblijnej animacji katechezy na każdym etapie jej rozwoju. Ważny wniosek płynący z pytania postawionego na początku dotyczy faktu, że nie należy tylko powtarzać wymienionych sformułowań kerygmatu z przeszłości. Od katechety wymaga się nie tylko znajomości wyrażeń biblijnych, ale jest on wręcz inspirowany, aby ucieleśniał kerygmat na potrzeby współczesnych osób i wspólnot. Opracowanie Bożej pedagogii w historii zbawienia w dyrektorium jest na wskroś biblijne. Magisterium Kościoła w zakresie katechezy ukazuje Objawienie jako wielkie dzieło wychowawcze Boga, które jest przeniknięte narracją biblijną. Analiza biblijna, połączona z refleksją katechetyczną, ukazuje Boga Ojca jako genialnego wychowawcę, który przekształca dzieje swojego ludu w lekcje mądrości (por. Pwt 4,36-40; 11,2-7), dostosowując się do wieku i sytuacji, w której lud ten żyje. Przedstawia Bożą pedagogię w misterium Wcielenia. Ukazuje Ducha Świętego, którego otrzymali uczniowie i byli prowadzeni przez Pocieszyciela do poznania prawdy, „aż po krańce ziemi” (Dz 1,8), dawali świadectwo o Słowie życia, którego słuchali, które oglądali i którego dotykali (por. 1 J 1,1; DK 162). Refleksja odpowiedzialnych za katechizację syntetycznie ukazała, że ewangeliczne opowieści są potwierdzeniem wychowawczego charakteru relacji Jezusa i mogą także dziś inspirować pedagogiczne działanie Kościoła. Podsumowując obecność 187 cytatów biblijnych w głównym katechetycznym dokumencie Kościoła katolickiego należy podkreślić, że dla katechetów są one echem słów ich powołania: „Idźcie na cały świat i głoście Ewangelię wszelkiemu stworzeniu!” (Mk 16,15). Echo tych słów rozbrzmiewa we współczesnych sytuacjach przekazu wiary, a to znaczy, że słowo Boże jest przekazywane w żywej Tradycji Kościoła, która stawia czoła różnym wyzwaniom związanym z kulturą cyfrową, globalizacją kultury i innym współczesnym wyzwaniom.
    The article is an attempt to answer the question to what extent the new Directory for Catechesis is inspired by the divinely inspired Scriptures? The research has shown that the document is a further, dynamic development of the two previous texts, with which it maintains continuity, but it differs in a new systematic approach to the formation of catechists and, of course, in taking into account the work of catechists and the contemporary Church Magisterium. The wealth of quotations from the Holy Scriptures contained in the Directory not only confirms the biblical character of catechesis, but with a new dynamism indicates the possibilities of biblical animation of catechesis at each stage of its development. An important conclusion drawn from the question posed at the beginning concerns the fact that one should not merely repeat the listed formulations of the kerygma from the past. Not only is the catechist required to know the biblical expressions, but he is even inspired to embody the kerygma for the needs of contemporary individuals and communities. The elaboration of God’s pedagogy in salvation history in the Directory is thoroughly biblical. The Church’s magisterium on catechesis presents Revelation as God’s great educational work, which is permeated by the biblical narrative. Biblical analysis combined with catechetical reflection reveals God the Father as an ingenious educator who transforms the history of his people into lessons of wisdom (cf. Deut 4:36-40; 11:2-7), adapting himself to the age and situation in which the people live. It reveals God’s pedagogy in the mystery of the Incarnation. It shows the Holy Spirit, whom the disciples received and were led by the Comforter to the knowledge of the truth, „to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8) gave witness to the Word of life which they had heard, seen and touched (cf. 1 Jn 1:1; DK 162). The reflection of those responsible for catechization synthetically showed that the Gospel stories are a confirmation of the educative character of Jesus’ account and can also inspire the pedagogical action of the Church today. Summing up the presence of 187 biblical quotations in the main catechetical document of the Catholic Church, it should be emphasized that for catechists they echo the words of their vocation: „Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature!” (Mk 16:15). The echo of these words resounds in contemporary situations of transmission of the faith, and this means that the Word of God is transmitted in the living Tradition of the Church, which confronts the various challenges of digital culture, cultural globalisation and other contemporary challenges.

    Te article is an attempt to show the most important questions concerning the relations between General Directory for Catechesis of 1997 and Catechism of the Catholic Church of 1992.Te deep relationship between those two documents is the subject treated with a special attention. Te theme is analyzed in the view of documents’ redactinghistory and the process of renewing of catechesis in second half of XX century. Author describes the following topics: genesis of documents, their complimentary character, the importance of the Catechism for catechesis, its role in transmission of Christian doctrine and in creating local catechisms. Finally the author emphasizes that the Catechism of the Catholic Church presents itself as a synthesis of faith of the whole Church; is the symbol of the unity and purity of faith and should be perceived as the fruit of cooperation of the whole Church. Despite many advantages of Catechism, it is not free of criticism, arising discussions and polemics. Te article is ended with the reflection of the question: is the catechism sufficient to overcome the difficulties of religious formation of man today?
    Dyrektorium ogólne o katechizacjii Katechizm Kościoła Katolickiego to dwa niezwykle ważne dokumenty katechezy,które łączą się wzajemnie w swoich treściach i katechetycznych zadaniach. Dokumenty powstały w latach dziewięćdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku, naznaczonych wieloma poważnymi wyzwaniami pod adresem katechezy w drugiej połowie XX wieku. Odzwierciedlają w sobie pojawiające się wówczas problemy, jak i działania Kościoła zmierzające do ich rozwiązania. Artykuł stanowi próbę głębszego spojrzenia na różnorodne relacje, które łączą te dwa dokumenty. Według Autora ich poznanie pozwala głębiej spojrzeć na wizję i dzieło katechezy Kościoła w naszych czasach. Zostały omówione następujące zagadnienia: geneza dokumentów, komplementarność ich treści i funkcji, znaczenie Katechizmu dla katechezy i przekazu depozytu wiary, relacje Katechizmu z katechizmami lokalnymi. Na koniec stawia się pytanie o wystarczalność katechizmu powszechnego czy katechizmów lokalnych dla pokonania współczesnych trudności w katechetycznej posłudze Kościoła.

    In this article many crucial guidelines regarding catechisation that were taken from General Directory for Catechesis were analyzed and compared to statutes of Te Archidiocese Synod of Warmia. Tis text mentions problems with the first process of transmitting of the gospel and initial catechesis, forms of regular catechesis as well as relations between catechesis and religious education in schools. It also rises issues such as: adjusting catechesis to age groups, disabled peoples’ needs and catechists’ formation. Finally, there are conclusions and postulates, formed according to a previously conducted research.
    Analizie poddano wiele istotnych zaleceń dotyczących katechizacji, które formułuje Dyrektorium Ogólne o Katechizacji oraz porównano je ze statutami I(XIV) Synodu Archidiecezji Warmińskiej. W artykule przedstawiono problematykę pierwszego głoszenia Ewangelii i katechezy inicjacyjnej, opisano formy katechezy stałej oraz relację katechezy i szkolnego nauczania religii, zaprezentowano kwestie związane z dostosowaniem katechezy do wieku katechizowanych i wymagań osób niepełnosprawnych, przedstawiono także zalecenia dotyczące formacji do posługi katechetycznej. Wskazano też brak odniesienia do niektórych problemów. Na zakończenie, w oparciu o przeprowadzone badania, sformułowano wnioski i postulaty.

    Opis:
    The recently published Directory for Catechesis by the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelisation is the handbook for all those who are involved in the catechetical ministry, ranging from Bishops and Bishops’ Conferences to pastors, priests and lay catechists. This article seeks to take a pastoral glance at the Directory which offers a vision for catechesis which is founded on the theology of Evangelii Gaudium, with an openness to a more kerygmatic catechesis. Moreover, the Directory seeks to situate catechesis within the contemporary digital culture, whilst not neglecting traditional stances such as the Catechumenate and mystagogy. The Directory also taps into innovative methodological aids such as the value given to the way of beauty.
    Ostatnio opublikowane przez Papieską Radę ds. Krzewienia Nowej Ewangelizacji Dyrektorium o katechizacji jest podręcznikiem dla wszystkich, którzy są zaangażowani w posługę katechetyczną, począwszy od biskupów i konferencji biskupich, poprzez proboszczów, kapłanów, aż po katechetów świeckich. Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą pastoralnego spojrzenia na Dyrektorium, które proponuje wizję katechezy opartą na teologii Evangelii Gaudium, z otwartością na katechezę bardziej kerygmatyczną. Ponadto Dyrektorium stara się umiejscowić katechezę w obrębie współczesnej kultury cyfrowej, nie zaniedbując przy tym tradycyjnych podstaw, takich jak katechumenat i mistagogia. Dyrektorium sięga także po nowatorskie pomoce metodologiczne, takie jak dowartościowanie drogi piękna.

    Opis:
    Celem artykułu jest ukazanie diecezjalnego urzędu katechetycznego i jego zadań. W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono historię powstania diecezjalnego urzędu katechetycznego. W drugiej części wskazano na obowiązek powołania diecezjalnego wydziału katechetycznego, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona zadaniom wspomnianej instytucji.
    This article aims to present the diocesan catechetical office and its tasks. In the first part, the history of the creation of the diocesan catechetical office is depicted. The second part highlights an obligation to appoint a diocesan catechetical department, and the third part is dedicated to the tasks of such an institution.

    Papież Franciszek zatwierdził 23 marca 2020 r. nowe Dyrektorium o Katechizacji, które opracowała Papieska Rada ds. Krzewienia Nowej Ewangelizacji. Pierwsze Directorium Catechisticum Generale z 1971 r. było odpowiedzią na wielkie wydarzenie eklezjalne, jakim był Sobór Watykański II i jego generalną reformę oraz odnowę. Również następne dokumenty katechetyczne – kontynuując główne przesłanie – odpowiadają na znaki czasu w szybko zmieniającym się świecie. Dla drugiego Dyrektorium Ogólnego o Katechizacji z 1997 r. odniesieniem były synody, które znaczeniu katechezy poświęcały dużo miejsca, a zwłaszcza adhortacja Jana Pawła II Catechesi tradendae (1979) i ukazanie się Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego (1992) miały decydującą rolę w nowym opracowaniu celów, treści i zagadnień metodologicznych. Trzecie Dyrektorium Katechetyczne z 2020 r. to dynamiczne rozwinięcie dwóch wcześniejszych tekstów, z którymi zachowuje ciągłość. Jest to również odczytanie współczesnych znaków czasu. Dyrektorium katechetyczne to normatywny dokument eklezjalny, który zawiera fundamentalne zasady teologiczno-pastoralne zaczerpnięte głównie z dokumentów Soboru Watykańskiego II, Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego i innych dokumentów Nauczycielskiego Urzędu Kościoła z zakresu katechezy oraz ogólne wytyczne dla Episkopatów w celu opracowania dyrektoriów katechetycznych krajowych, które uwzględniając konkretne warunki wskażą drogi posługi katechetycznej w Kościołach partykularnych. Ich rozwój po Soborze Watykańskim II oznacza przechodzenie do kolejnego etapu głoszenia Ewangelii we współczesnym świecie.
    On 23 March 2020, Pope Francis approved a new Directory for Catechesis, which was prepared by the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization. The first Directorium Catechisticum Generale of 1971 responded to the great ecclesial event of the Second Vatican Council and its general reform and renewal. The subsequent catechetical documents also responded to the signs of the times in a rapidly changing world, continuing the main message. The Second General Directory for Catechesis of 1997 drew on synods, which emphasised the importance of catechesis, and especially the John Paul II’s Exhortation Catechesi tradendae (1979) and the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1992) had a decisive role in the new development of the objectives, contents and methodological issues. The third Directory for Catechesis of 2020 is a dynamic elaboration on the two previous texts maintaining continuity with them. It is also a reading of contemporary signs of the times. The Directory is a normative ecclesial document that contains fundamental theological-pastoral principles drawn mainly from the documents of the Second Vatican Council, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and other documents of the Church’s Magisterium in the area of catechesis, as well as general guidelines for episcopates to develop national catechetical directories which, while taking into account specific conditions, will guide the path of catechetical ministry in particular Churches. Their development after the Second Vatican Council marks the transition to the next stage of the proclamation of the Gospel in the modern world.

    Directory is a long known form of conduct for Church’s people and institutions in given domain. One published in 1997 is a result of 50 years of studies. During this time many documents have appeared that analyzed the issue of catechesis from the perspective of the whole Church. Tis Directory helps to go deeper into the nature of catechesis as Church understands it. Te document presents achievements of catechesis aſter then Second Vatican Council, such as the rule of Trinitarian Chrystocentricity, the rule of faithfulness to God and man, the need for hierarchy of truths of faith, basic, dynamic catechistic environments such as family, school and parish gathered around Jesus Christ .
    Dyrektorium jest znaną i stosowaną w Kościele od kilku wieków formą regulowania postępowania i działalności osób lub instytucji kościelnych w określonej dziedzinie. Opublikowane w 1997 Dyrektorium ogólne o katechizacji stanowi zwieńczenie katechetycznych poszukiwań ostatnich 50 lat, w ciągu których pojawiły się dokumenty, które dogłębnie analizowały zagadnienia katechezy w skali całego Kościoła. Dyrektorium to pozwala głębiej wniknąć w naturę katechezy, a więc poznać, jak ją dzisiaj Kościół rozumie. Prezentuje ono istotne osiągnięcia katechetyki po Soborze Watykańskim II, jakimi są zasada chrystocentryzmu trynitarnego, zasada wierności Bogu i człowiekowi, potrzeba hierarchii prawd wiary, skoncentrowanych wokół Jezusa Chrystusa i zdynamizowania podstawowych środowisk katechetycznych, jakimi są rodzina, szkoła i parafia.

    Współczesny Kościół dostrzega konieczność wzbogacenia przekazu wiary o drogę piękna (via pulchritudinis). Postuluje to nowe Dyrektorium o katechizacji z 2020 roku. Przedstawiając źródła katechezy, wskazuje, iż są nimi nie tylko słowo Boże w Piśmie Świętym i w świętej Tradycji, Magisterium Kościoła, liturgia, świadectwo świętych i męczenników, teologia i kultura chrześcijańska, ale także piękno. Temu ostatniemu poświęca cztery akapity (nr 106–109). Artykuł dokonuje szczegółowej analizy tego tekstu. Odpowiada na pytanie, kto jest źródłem piękna. Ukazuje trzy transcendentalia: prawdę (verum), dobro (bonum) i piękno (pulchrum), które muszą rozbłysnąć, aby przepowiadanie Zmartwychwstałego mogło dotrzeć do głębi ludzkiego serca. W końcu stawia tezę o konieczności wprowadzenia współczesnej katechizacji na drogę piękna. Podkreślenie piękna jako źródła katechezy jest ważnym elementem refleksji podjętej w nowym Dyrektorium. Wiara rodzi się bowiem nie tylko ex auditu, ale także ex visu. Stąd też droga piękna jest bardzo pomocna we współczesnej formacji katechetycznej głęboko osadzonej w kulturze medialnej i cyfrowej.
    The contemporary Church sees the need to enrich the message of faith with the way of beauty (via pulchritudinis). This is postulated by the new Directory for Catechesis of 2020. By presenting the sources of catechesis, it shows that they are not limited to the Word of God in the Holy Scripture and in the Holy Tradition, the Magisterium of the Church, the liturgy, the testimony of saints and martyrs, theology and Christian culture, but they also include beauty. The latter is described in four paragraphs (nos. 106–109). The article makes a detailed analysis of this text. It answers the question: Who the source of beauty is? It shows three transcendentals: truth (verum), goodness (bonum) and beauty (pulchrum), which must shine so that the preaching of the Risen Christ can reach the depths of the human heart. Finally, it suggests the need to put contemporary catechesis on the way of beauty. The emphasis put on beauty as a source of catechesis is an important contribution of the new Directory. Faith is born not only ex auditu but also ex visu. Therefore, the way of beauty is very helpful in contemporary catechetical formation, which is deeply embedded in media and digital culture.
