In a natural order, man depends on his fellow man because he is a social being. In the order of salvation, God wants the work of redemption to be passed on to other people as well. In the work of the Church, all sacraments and ministries are distributed by his ministers. The Church always cares for the internal development of her spiritual sons and daughters. Spiritual guidance is one of the tools used by the Church. Spiritual guidance is the individual guidance of a Christian on God’s path is a way to teach him to listen to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit and to answer it, and is also a special help in practicing virtues appropriate to the state of life and the current situation. The purpose of this article is to show the value of spiritual direction in the modern world, referring to the history of the church and paying attention to the contemporary context of spiritual direction and certain conditions that are important in undertaking this spir-itual practice.

The leading purpose of the spiritual guidance is to deliver a necessary assistance in achieving the sainthood which means the perfection of love. The role of a spiritual director (guide) can be summarized as helping Holy Spirit to form Christ within each member of “Caritas” groups. A spiritual threat, which all volunteers of “Caritas” are exposed to, is an excessive activism which often makes volunteers forget to pray and proceed their spiritual lives. A spiritual director is supposed to control the activeness of a volunteer and make sure that an appropriate balance is maintained. To do volunteering is a chance for the youth to live their lives in a truly Christian way, full of love and care for others. The vocation and mission of volunteers, imbued with the spirit of the Gospel of love, play a special role in building the civilization of love in the modern world.

The purpose of this study was to characterize the scope, direction and pace of the evolution taking place in the rural part of highly and less urbanized regions, including without limitation changes to the territorial distribution and percentage of the rural population in the voivodeships covered by this study; the levels of the technical and social infrastructure; the condition of agricultural productive inputs and the level of the farms’ commercial production; the development level of non-agricultural activities in rural areas. The source of information were books, magazines and publications of the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Once collected, the information was processed and interpreted with the use of a vertical and horizontal comparison method, the statistical method and the relative valuation method. It was found that: a) the rural population grows (and so does its share in the country’ population) though rural areas become smaller in size, b) more and more rural areas are transformed into residential areas, improving the level of technical and social infrastructure, c) the Śląsk region is characterized by a slower evolution of the general and rural infrastructure compared to Świętokrzyskie voivodeship, d) the regions covered by this study demonstrate a high decrease rate of agricultural land resources, accompanied by the growth of other productive inputs and of agricultural commercial production, e) rural areas are increasingly engaged in economic activities covered by the REGON register. The characteristics and consequences of entrepreneurship are diversified across the rural areas under consideration. The most positive effects can be noted in Śląsk region.

F1 hybrids between Triticum aestivum L. (cv. Chinese Spring, Chinese Spring nulli 5B tetra 5D, cv. Roazon, cv. Rusałka, line CZR 1406), Triticum durum Desf. cv. Grandur, Triticum turgidum (L.) Thell. cv. Rampton Rivet and seven Aegilops species - Ae. cylindrica Host., Ae. triuncialis L., Ae. variabilis (peregrina) Eig., Ae. ventricosa Tausch., Ae. crassa Boiss. 6x, Ae. juvenalis (Thell.) Eig., Ae. triaristata Willd. 6x were synthesized. In hybrid seeds, embryos and endosperms were observed. The endosperm was mostly well developed but the embryo varied from almost normal to poorly developed. Hybrids were generated directly from cultured in vitro immature embryos. The total of thirty-eight F1 plants were obtained. Crossability of Aegilops spp. as female with Triticum spp. was about seven times higher (15.30% on average) than in reciprocal crosses (1.99% on average).

Artykuł prezentuje filozoficzną koncepcję zła moralnego w myśli Martina Bubera (†1965) jako braku ukierunkowania życia. Źródłem inspiracji dla koncepcji Bubera były mity biblijne i perskie. Artykuł ma cztery części: 1) pojęcie mitu (świadectwo spotkania z Absolutem i narzędzie w odkryciu prawdy egzystencjalnej); 2) przesłanie mitów biblijnych (przeciwieństwa wpisane w naturę ludzką oraz wezwanie do ukierunkowania swego życia na Boga); 3) przekaz mitów perskich (niebezpieczeństwo kłamstwa egzystencjalnego oraz braku decyzji); 4) filozoficzne ujęcie zła (zło jako życie człowieka w chaosie możliwości i braku ukierunkowania swego życia na Boga).
The paper presents the philosophical idea of moral evil in the thought of Martin Buber (†1965) as the lack of direction in the life of a man. The source of inspiration were for the concept of Buber biblical and Persian myths. The paper has four parts: 1) idea of myth (testimony of the meeting with the Absolute and instrument in searching for the existential truth); 2) message of the biblical myths (contradiction in the human nature and appeal to the direction of the life); 3) Persian myths (danger of existential lie and lack of decision); 4) philosophical idea of evil (existance in the chaos of possibilities and lack of the direction in the life to God).

The paper deals with sub-evaporite Badenian deposits (Middle Miocene, Paratethys) that display a sudden appearance of globorotaliid taxa showing preferences in the taxonomic set and coiling direction. An interval of sinistrally coiled Jenkinsella mayeri with proportionally coiled Globoconella bykovae is at the bottom of the studied sequence. It is followed by an interval of proportionally coiled Jenkinsella transsylvanica. Proportionally coiled Globoconella bykovae with a small number of proportionally coiled Jenkinsella transsylvanica are at the top of the Moravian (CPN 7) substage (Orbulina suturalis alias Lagenidae Zone). The sub-evaporite part of the Wielician (CPN 8) substage (Uvigerina costai alias Spiroplectammina Zone) began with a globorotaliid-barren interval (IIC biozone). It is followed by biozone IID displaying three globorotallid peaks amongst globorotallid-barren deposits. Only globoconellas are present in all these three events. Proportionally coiled Globoconella bykovae appeared first. It is followed by proportionally coiled Globoconella minoritesta and sinistrally coiled Globoconella bykovae at the end of the biozone IID. Coiling preferences of globorotaliids have been compared to changes in the hydrographic regime unfolding during the CPN 7 and CPN 8 in the studied area of the Paratethys. The study discovers that the coiling of globorotaliids responded selectively to the hydrographic changes. Globoconella bykovae is highly opportunistic and can tolerate considerable temperature changes. Specimens of this taxon persist to coil proportionally during the sub-evaporite Badenian, except for the shift to sinistral coiling just prior to the Wielician evaporites. Sinistrally coiled Jenkinsella mayeri is the most sensitive to hydrographic changes. This taxon retreated at the onset of the temperature drop during the mid-Moravian cryptic cooling. This cooling is marked by the new jenkinsellid occurrence – proportionally coiled Jenkinsella transsylvanica. Proportionally coiled Globoconella minoritesta is present in the middle of the IID globorotaliid peaks. The globorotaliid coiling data, presented in this paper, has been calibrated to the global stratigraphy. The integrated data (foraminifera, nannofossils, oxygen and carbon stable isotopes, radiometric measurements) supports the view that the CPN 7/CPN 8 boundary is coeval to the Langhian/Serravalian one. In the Polish part of the Carpathian Foredeep, the boundary runs within the Skawina Formation.

Opis:
People make different choices depending on which decision is the default option. In intertemporal choices, the default option is typically imposed externally. For example, people expect more for delaying the gain (default in the present) than are willing to pay for accelerating the future gain over the same period (default in the future). We claim that apart from the external default, people’s choices are also influenced by the internal (natural) default such as the time perspective resulting in the reference point in the present. By manipulating the congruency between the internal and external defaults, we show that incongruence between defaults decreases the strength of discounting of gains, but not of losses.

The paper presents and discusses a method of azimuth determination of ultrasonic echo arrival in air. The basis of the presented approach is the assumption that the received signal is a narrowband one. In this way, the direction of the signal arrival can be determined based on its phase shift using two receivers. When the distance between the receivers exceeds half of the wavelength of the received signal, a problem of ambiguity in determining the angle of arrival arises. To solve this, a method using multiple pairs of receivers was used. Its robustness and temperature dependence is analysed. The most import ant advantages of the presented approach are simplified computations and low hardware requirements. Experimental data made it possible to show that for strong echoes, the accuracy is higher than 0.5°. In the case of weak echos, it is reduced to about 2°. Because the method is based on phase shift measurement, the ultrasonic sonar that uses this method can be compact in size. Moreover, owing to the theoretical analysis, certain properties of the mutual location of the receivers were found and formally proved. They are crucial for determining proper receivers’ inter-distances.

The multi-direction digital moving mask method, employing the superposition of the exposure along various moving directions, is developed for fabricating continuous microstructures. The mask pattern corresponding to each moving direction is determined by projecting the target dose profile in the corresponding moving direction. All the mask patterns are dynamically exposed on the same substrate layer by layer so as to form a 3D profile of the exposure dose. The selection criterion of a quantization number and moving-direction number is discussed. For verification of the multi-direction moving method, experiments are performed to fabricate a square pyramid array and square-based microlens array by moving along two orthogonal directions, and round-based microlens array by moving along six directions.

Wind results from the air in motion. Air in motion arises from a pressure gradient. Wind direction and wind speed are two characteristics of the wind, whose inter-relationships may give us an insight into the prevailing weather condition at a particular place. This study examines the trend analysis of the wind direction and wind speed pattern of Srinagar Garhwal Valley, Uttarakhand. The average wind speed in Srinagar Valley is 2.923± 1.232 m/s. As it is seen the most frequent wind in Srinagar Garhwal has a speed from 0.50 to 2.10 m/s in the northwest direction.

Source localization problem consists of an ensemble of techniques that are used to obtain spatial information of present radiation in given medium of propagation, with a constraint of the antenna geometry and the characteristics of radiating sources. This condition gives multitude of cases to study, hence several methods were proposed in the literature. In this paper, a new algorithm for estimating the Direction of Arrival (DoA) of narrowband and far eld punctual sources is introduced. By exploiting the spectrum of covariance matrix of received data, the Lorentzian function on spectral matrix to lter the eigenvalues is applied. This ltering process eliminates the eigenvalues belonging to signal subspace. Parameters of Lorentz function are adjusted using rst and second statistics of eigenvalues. The algorithm requires the knowledge of minimum eigenvalue and is performing when the dimension of antenna is relatively large which is conrmed by several Monte Carlo simulations.

Spiritual development has been an important issue in the lives of many people since the dawn of humanity. In order to achieve their goal of greater spiritual maturity, they often asked help from a person they considered to be more spiritually advanced than themselves. With the beginnings of Christianity, this human propensity became even more pronounced and formalized, taking the shape of spiritual guidance in some form, which, over periods of both growth and decline, has recently come to resurgence in popularity. Today, there are also a significant number of people who seek professional help from therapists in resolving psychological issues and who, at the same time, would also like to use their personal spiritual resources to help them reach healing. Thus, a growing need for spiritually integrated psychological counseling has arisen. These developments require a better understanding of both the spiritual processes and the manner of helping people grow spiritually through the door of psychological counseling in some form. This article is a survey of the literature that presents a broad range of models to meet spiritual needs of modern people. Presenting such a variety of approaches is an attempt to widen the scope of what is offered as therapeutic assistance for spiritually sensitive individuals. In the conclusion, the author proposes new modalities for the inclusion of spiritual content in the counseling process.

The paper presents algorithms of automatic control of an intelligent anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) with possibility of attacking the target from the upper ceiling and with possibility of the missile flight through indicated points in space. The polynomial functions are used to designate the program trajectories. Numerical analysis of the operation of chosen algorithms is performed. The results are presented in a graphical form. As it results from the conducted tests, the proposed algorithms of automatic control of ATGM with the use of polynomial functions work properly during attack on the target from the upper ceiling, for both mobile and immobile targets.
