Stronnictwo Ludowe w powiecie łańcuckim w latach 1931-1939 było główną siłą polityczną. Jego przywódcy: Antoni Dec, Józef Burda, Jan Tepper i Stefan Kozakiewicz należeli do czołowych działaczy ruchu ludowego nie tylko w powiecie, ale także w strukturach okręgowych i centralnych. Powiat łańcucki był odwiedzany przez liderów Stronnictwa. W Rakszawie w 1933 roku ludowcy zorganizowali Wincentemu Witosowi jubileusz 25-lecia pracy politycznej i parlamentarnej. Rok później do Wierzawic na poświęcenie sztandaru koła SL przyjechał czołowy działacz Stronnictwa, były marszałek Sejmu Maciej Rataj. W czerwcu 1933 roku w powiecie łańcuckim doszło do tragicznych zajść w Grodzisku Dolnym, których skutkiem była śmierć dwóch policjantów i sześciu osób cywilnych. W 1938 roku struktury Stronnictwa Ludowego w powiecie łańcuckim należały do najlepiej zorganizowanych w kraju. Według źródeł policyjnych, SL posiadało tu 56 kół i był to szósty wynik na 22 powiaty województwa lwowskiego. Natomiast pod względem liczby członków powiat łańcucki znajdował się na trzecim miejscu.
People’s Party in Łańcut county was the main political party in the years 1931– 1939. Its leaders: Antoni Dec, Józef Burda, Jan Tepper and Stefan Kozakiewicz were not only the leading members in the county, but also among the district and even in the headquarters. The leaders of People’s Party visited Łańcut. In 1933 in Rakszawa the party members from Łańcut county organized a 25-years jubilee for Wincenty Witos for his time spent in politics and parliament. A year after, Maciej Rataj, a former Marshall of the Seym and a leading member of People’s Party, came to commemorate the consecration of the Party’s banner in Wierzawice. A tragedy occured in June 1933 in Grodzisko Dolne in Łańcut county. Two intervening policemen and five civilians died, while another civilian with severe wounds died in the hospital. People’s Party in Łańcut county was one of the best when it came to organization in 1938. According to police sources, the party had 56 associations in the district in Lviv province, and it was the 6th result out of 22 districts. When it came to the number of members, the district took third place.

Opis:
In this paper, the possibility of use of a DEC type air conditioning system, using solar energy, in Polish climatic conditions Polish, as an alternative to traditional systems based on compressor refrigeration equipment, was analyzed. At the beginning of the work, attention was paid to how important it is for users to maintain thermal comfort conditions and how these conditions can be determined. It also shows why the DEC system can be a good solution for the cases under consideration. In the next part of the paper, the analyzed system is described, presenting the individual processes of humid air transformation taking place in it, in which devices these processes can take place and how they were modeled in further calculations. Modeling the operation of the DEC system was based mainly on determining the efficiency of individual devices, i.e. the effectiveness of the processes taking place in them and the use of a psychometric graph. Similarly, the method of calculating the useful heat that can be obtained from solar collectors under known conditions is presented. For this purpose, meteorological data and the theory of similarity in heat transfer were used. In the next part of the work, an example of a calculation cycle was presented, along with the next steps of applying to the psychometric graph points corresponding to the states of moist air at individual points of the DEC system. On the basis of such calculation cycles, performed for different values of outdoor air parameters, the relationships of the obtained cooling power, the power supplied for adsorber regeneration, EER, temperature and relative humidity of the supply air to rooms, from the temperature and relative humidity of the outside air. Next, the calculation process for determining the useful heat obtained from solar collectors is presented. On the basis of several such processes, the average conditions of heat collection from the collector were determined, on the basis of which the amount of energy obtained from solar radiation was determined on the scale of the entire summer period. On the basis of this analysis, surpluses and shortages of energy obtained from collectors on individual days of the considered period were determined. In conclusion, it was stated that despite the fairly good cooperation of the system with solar collectors and its simple construction, the DEC system cannot be an alternative to compressor refrigeration equipment. This is mainly due to the unfavorable level of relative humidity in Polish climatic conditions, which does not allow the device to achieve the appropriate temperature of the air supplied to the rooms.

The paper presents the application of the pulse plasma consolidation (PPC) method in the field of diamond composites sintered under conditions of thermodynamic instability of diamond for the manufacture of tools intended for the cutting of different stones. Diamond enhanced carbides (DEC) are a composite material containing 30 vol of diamond particles and were produced using a mixture of submicron WC6Co (wt ). Due to PPC sintering conditions, dense sinters with a strong bond between the diamond particles and the sintered carbide matrix were obtained. The values of the specific cutting energy and the apparent friction coefficient of DEC cutter were investigated in comparison with the similar devices from PCD and ordinary tungsten carbide. DEC materials sintered in GeniCore confirmed the good market prospects for these materials in both cutting and mining applications.
W pracy przedstawiono zastosowanie metody spiekania impulsowo-plazmowego (PPC) w dziedzinie spiekanych kompozytów diamentowych w warunkach termodynamicznej niestabilności diamentu do wytwarzania narzędzi przeznaczonych do cięcia i urabiania różnych kamieni. Węgliki wzmocnione diamentem (DEC – ang. Diamond Enchanced Carbide), w dalszej części tekstu nazywane skrótowo DEC, jako materiał kompozytowy zawierający 30 obj. cząstek diamentu wytworzono, stosując mieszaninę submikronową WC6Co [ wag.]. Dzięki warunkom spiekania PPC uzyskano spieki o wysokiej gęstości z silnym wiązaniem pomiędzy cząstkami diamentu a osnową węglika spiekanego. Badano wartości energii właściwej skrawania i współczynnika tarcia pozornego frezu DEC w porównaniu z podobnymi narzędziami z PCD i zwykłego węglika wolframu. Wyniki badań materiałów DEC spiekanych przez GeniCore potwierdziły dobre perspektywy rynkowe dla tych materiałów do zastosowań w cięciu i górnictwie.

Opis:
This paper presents application of HEC-HMS model that was used to calculate a pick flow for a small, non-urban catchment. The Debina catchment with 47.8 km2 area is located in a central part of Gnieznienskie Lakeland region. In this area Luvisol made from moraine materials (50%) and Brunic Arenosol (23%) under forest predominates. The rest of the catchment is covered by Histic Glyesol and Histosol. Obtained data from Corine Land Cover was used to quantify landuse structure in the studied catchment. The results showed that 77% of area is used as an arable land and around 20% as a belt of woodland with greens. Calculations of the effective rainfall were performed using four methods: SCS curve number (CN), Green and Ampt, initial and constant and deficit and constant method. The scale of the effective rainfall calculated by these four methods implemented in HEC-HMS hydrologic model showed a large divergence. Significant differences of the effective rainfall values translate into discharges values which are calculated on their basis. The peak flow of probability of exceedance of 10% in the Debina stream may have values which oscillate between 4.1 m3.s-1 and 0.6 m3.s-1 depending on the effective rainfall determination method. In case of 1% rainfall, peak discharges oscillate between 11.9 m 3.s-1 and 0.8 m 3.s-1. Flows calculated using SCS CN method are comparable to the values of maximum flow calculated using empirical formulas (Stachy and Fal and Debski and Stachy) which amount Q(1%) = 6.6 m3.s-1 and Q(10%) = 3.8 m3.s-1. Calculations of the peak flows in the Debina catchment indicate that the selection of methods that determine effective rainfall as a component of rainfall-runoff model has a significant influence on the maximum flow values.
