    Cognition is a domain of thinking creatures, isn't it? Based on that computers cannot learn anything more than was in the initial data feed. In this article, I just want to defend that nowadays technical solutions can break this rule. The aim of this article is to provide a short technical overview what Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Neural Networks (NN) were before in the area of standalone gigantic servers, and how do they look now in Cloud Computing (CC) times. The ML paradigm is not any more reserved for big enterprises only but now is available for single internet user. I just want to present AWS and Azure, as the biggest CC providers, functionalities and potential usage of such Cognitive Services (CS) in current internet services. The great example is for instance bot usage instead of diving deep in the FAQ on the company website or digging into the corporate wiki. Another big area is graphics analysis and sound or text recognition. Those are only examples of predefined CC functions ready for use right now in the public cloud.

    Opis:
    According to the statistics, there are currently 36 million people with dementia of the Alzheimer type in the world. The incidence of disease increases with the age. According to the Slovak Alzheimer’s Society in 2010, Slovakia had approximately 60,000 patients with Alzheimer’s disease and some other related diseases. Estimated number in 2030 is 180 000 patients. The disease also applies to the other ten thousand of nursemaids and family members who care for the disabled. For these reasons, it is necessary that the society should respond to the situation. And also providers of social services are professionally prepared to work with this type of client.

    Opis:
    The article elaborates upon causes staying behind the involvement of the Division II of the Polish Army in the cooperation with the so called MOCR-Trust, i.e. a provocative organization established and managed by the Soviet counterintelligence. The author puts forward the hypothesis that there was no one reason for the above-mentioned intelligence failure, but a conglomerate of synergistically acting causes. The author divides these causes into two groups: external ones to the Division II, to which he includes political conditions and activities of Soviet spy-rings in the Polish Army and internal ones, which he groups into psycho-social causes resulting from cognitive processes and human interactions and structural causes, related to the functioning of the Division II as an hierarchical organization. Describing and explaining the second group of causes, the author reaches for explanations to the achievements of social and organization psychology, combined with a thorough historical research.
    W artykule omówiono przyczyny uwikłania się Oddziału II SG WP we współpracę z MOCR-Trustem – prowokacyjną organizacją kierowaną przez sowiecki kontrwywiad. Autor stawia tezę, że brakowało jednej, możliwej do wyabstrahowania przyczyny tego, a za wywiadowczą klęską stał z kolei konglomerat przyczyn działających synergicznie. Do przyczyn zewnętrznych wobec Oddziału II, autor zalicza uwarunkowania polityczne oraz działalność sowieckiej agentury w Wojsku Polskim. Przyczyny wewnętrzne – to przyczyny psychospołeczne, wynikające z procesów poznawczych i ludzkich interakcji, oraz strukturalne, związane z funkcjonowaniem Oddziału II jako organizacji hierarchicznej. Omawiając i wyjaśniając tę drugą grupę przyczyn, autor sięgnął do dorobku psychologii społecznej i psychologii organizacji, które łączy z badaniami historycznymi.
