    Opis:
    Celem artykułu jest próba ukazania tego, w jaki sposób Duch Święty kształtuje osobowość chrześcijanina. Pojęcie „osobowości” zostało wybrane nieprzypadkowo, ponieważ posługuje się nim wiele współczesnych nauk o człowieku. Dlatego też bardzo dobrze nadaje się do multidyscyplinarnego dyskursu o osobie ludzkiej. Oczywiście fenomen osobowości ma nieco inne pole semantyczne w psychologii, socjologii, etyce czy pedagogice. W niniejszym opracowaniu terminy: „osobowość” oraz „osobowość chrześcijańska” będą rozumiane personalistycznie, zgodnie z intuicjami zaczerpniętymi od Wincentego Granata. Próba odpowiedzi na pytanie o to, w jaki sposób Duch Święty kształtuje osobowość człowieka, będzie prowadzona zgodnie z zaproponowaną przez Granata hermeneutyką osoby przez osobowość. Zdaniem lubelskiego personalisty można mówić o trzech płaszczyznach (rodzajach) osobowości ludzkiej: psychicznej, etycznej i społecznej. Jednakże należy pamiętać o tym, że za każdym razem chodzi o „osobę integralną”, ujmowaną wszakże w perspektywie pewnego wyodrębnionego spektrum jej bytowania i działania.
    The article discusses the issue forming the personality of the Christian by the Holy Spirit. The initial intuition located at the base of the text is belief that the Christian personality is the result of divine influence of the Holy Spirit on the process of forming thehuman personality so that it becomes a reflection of the personality of Jesus of Nazareth. A more detailed analysis of how the Third Person of the Trinity creates the personality in this document are organized according to the three levels of personality (psychological, ethical and social), which singled out and characterized Wincenty Granat.

    Niewątpliwie dla życia Kościoła istotnym jest kult świętych – inspirujących wiernych, by wieść życie prawe i uczulających na możliwości angażowania swych talentów dla życia Kościoła. Jeden z najważniejszych pomorskich myślicieli okresu międzywojnia – ks. Franciszek Sawicki (1877–1952) rozumie świętość jako aktualizujący się wciąż proces kształtowania ludzkiej osobowości w duchu chrześcijańskiej aksjologii. Osobowość chrześcijańska to najistotniejszy motor kształtowania i rozwoju dziejów. W wartościach chrześcijańskich widzi czynniki, mające wpływ na kształtowanie ludzkiej osobowości w taki sposób, że mają one niebagatelny wpływ dla rozwoju kultury ludzkiej i dziejów cywilizacji. Tym samym swoją personalistyczną, chrześcijańską wizją włącza się w dyskusję między skrajnie indywidualistyczną koncepcją Thomasa Caryle’a czy Maxa Stirnera a kolektywizmem Gustawa Le Bon’a, Karola Marksa i José Ortegi y Gassset’a.
    Undoubtedly, a veneration of the saints is essential for the life of the Church – inspiring the faithful to live a righteous life and making them aware of a given opportunities to turn their talents for the life of the Church. One of the most important Pomeranian thinkers of the interwar period, Father Franciszek Sawicki (1877 – 1952), understands holiness as constantly updating process of shaping human personality in the spirit of Christian axiology. Christian personality is the most important driving force behind the shaping and development of history. He considers Christian values as the factors affecting the development of human personality in such a way that they have a considerable impact on the development of human culture and the history of civilization. Thus, his personalistic, Christian vision turns into discussion between the extremely individualistic conception of Thomas Carlyle, Max Stirner and Gustave Le Bon, Karl Marx and José Ortega y Gasset, proponents of collectivism.

    The subject of this article is the presentation of the research results on connection between Christian character and religiosity as well as personality of man. True Christian character manifests itself in the permanent personal qualities of mind and will, emotions, imagination, and actions formed in the process of upbringing and self-formation, which determine persistent ethical conduct inspired by the values empowered in biblical faith activated especially in unexpected challenging and difficult circumstances. The aim of the research was also to identify the empirical linkages between Christian character and a number of religious and personality characteristics. For diagnosis of Christian character the Scale for Christian Character Assessment is used. Religiosity was examined using the following test methods: Centrality of Religiosity Scale, Post-Critical Belief Scale, Scale of Coherence of Religious Convictions - 2, Religious Identity Scale, Biblical Conservatism Scale, Village Biblical Literalism Scale, faith assessment and religious practices scales (personal prayer, Bible, attending Mass). Personality however was examined with following methods: Francis’ Psychological Type and Emotional Temperament Scales, Learning and Thinking Styles (SUM-1), IPIP-Big Factors Model-20, Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire, Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale. Participants of the research were adults attending Sunday Mass, high school students, and students of the University of Applied Sciences. It was found a number of correlation between dimensions of Christian character and the vast majority dimensions of religiosity tests, in particular with centrality of religiosity, religious cognitive styles, acceptance of Catholic doctrine, biblical conservatism and literalism, Bible reading, faith self-assessment, and to a lesser extent with religious identity. It has been found correlations between dimensions of character and some aspects of psychological preferences, personality dimensions, as well as learning and thinking styles. The three profiles (types) of Christian character obtained using factor analysis method were compared with the level achieved in religiosity and personality test results. Observed statistically significant differences between character profiles are consistent with the results obtained via the correlation coefficients. The groups compared in the area of personality generally differ statistically significant only with regard to the personality factors. On the basis of the survey can be stated that Christian character, religiosity and personality are different characteristics of the person, which are in the interaction, although the quality of different dimensions of religious life play a decisive role for the formation of the character. At the end of the article the author points pastoral value of generated psychological-pastoral knowledge.

    Opis:
    The article presents the spiritual development of personality according to the Russian philosopher Nikolai Lossky, who emigrated after the Communists came to power in Russia and lived in Czechoslovakia between the world wars. The main sources of this study are his texts published there at that time. Lossky incorporated the spiritual development of personality into his worldview, revealing an analogy between it and the evolution of nature. Novels of the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, among others, contributed to his knowledge of the human heart. He also confronted his conclusions with medical and therapeutic practice, taking advantage of his acquaintance with the Czech founder of psychosomatic medicine Ctibor Bezděk. Although he was a non-conformist thinker in many respects, his views of the spiritual development of personality were heavily influenced by traditional Christian theology.
