    The ecological aspect of catholic moral theology should not evoke astonishment, as it is not a strange hybrid created by means of artificial manipulations aiming at bestowing authority of Christian tradition on ecology. Popes' statements concerning natural environment conservation seem to testify against such claims and only show the importance and need of implementing responsible and moderate using the Earth's resources into Christian awareness. Practical ethical problems in the ecological aspect I started to present from the natural law, which determines divine moral order in the world, also in the ecological dimension. Then I undertook the problem of an ecological conscience, which is a kind of a "watchman" of our morality, also as far as human actions in the natural environment are concerned, and it tries to protect the human being from committing an ecological sin, which is one of the forms of disobedience to God. These ecological aspects of moral theology will remain just hot air if we do not spread them by means of ecological education. It is also very important to shape proper and fixed attitudes towards other people and nature that can be described in terms of love, prudence, and moderation as aretology (field of science concerning virtues) teach us. At the end of this paragraph, I put Ecological Decalogue, whose rules Christians should obey in everyday life.

    Opis:
    The aim of this study is to look at the problem of contraception in the ecumenical context. A special occasion for such reflection is the fiftieth anniversary of the publication by Pope Paul VI the Humanae vitae encyclical on the regulation of birth (1968). It is known that the Catholic Church in its official statements completely differently evaluates the use of contraceptives than the Evangelical Churches. Evangelicals, like other Protestant communities, already in the 1930s accepted contraception as a form of responsible spouses’ approach to parenthood. In the Catholic Church, contraceptive methods are treated as wicked, opposed to the morality of a marriage act. The subject of contraception is therefore still a controversial area of ecumenical dialogue. Nevertheless, the statements of some theologians or Catholic bishops referring to the teaching of Pope Francis may perhaps change something in this matter.
    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest spojrzenie na problematykę antykoncepcji w kontekście ekumenicznym. Szczególną okazją ku takiej refleksji jest przypadająca w 2018 r. pięćdziesiąta rocznica opublikowania przez papieża Pawła VI encykliki Humanae vitae o zasadach moralnych w dziedzinie przekazywania życia ludzkiego. Wiadomo, iż Kościół katolicki w swych oficjalnych wypowiedziach zupełnie inaczej ocenia stosowanie środków antykoncepcyjnych niż Kościoły ewangelickie. Te ostatnie bowiem, podobnie jak inne Wspólnoty protestanckie, już w latach trzydziestych XX w. zaakceptowały antykoncepcję jako formę odpowiedzialnego podejścia małżonków do rodzicielstwa. W Kościele katolickim metody antykoncepcyjne traktowane są natomiast jako niegodziwe, sprzeciwiające się moralności aktu małżeńskiego. Temat antykoncepcji stanowi więc ciągle sporny obszar dialogu ekumenicznego. Niemniej jednak wypowiedzi niektórych teologów lub biskupów katolickich, powołujących się na nauczanie papieża Franciszka, być może zmienią coś w tej kwestii.

    Refleksję teologiczną sprzeciwu sumienia farmaceutów można podejmować na wielu płaszczyznach. W niniejszym opracowaniu rozpoczynamy ją od zdefiniowania samego zakresu sprzeciwu poprzez omówienie środków farmakologicznych; których dystrybucja rodzi poważne zastrzeżenia moralne. Analiza ta dotyczy nie tyle sposobu ich działania; ale głównie skutków jakie za sobą niesie ich używanie nie tylko w aspekcie zdrowotnym; społecznym czy psychologicznym; ale także duchowym. Wiąże się to z oceną moralną dopuszczalności praktyk; w których są stosowane etycznie kontrowersyjne środki (dotyczy to głównie aborcji; antykoncepcji; eutanazji i wspomaganego samobójstwa).; Obiekcje sumienia farmaceutów zostały również rozpatrzone w kontekście katolickiej nauki o współdziałaniu w czynach złych oraz zagrożeń z wynikających z takiej współpracy ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem możliwości wywołania zgorszenia.; Poza tym podjęto próbę rozstrzygnięcia kwestii godziwości i obowiązywalności w sumieniu prawa dopuszczającego do obrotu i nakazującego dystrybucję środków; które nie mają innego celu jak grzech. Sprzeciw sumienia farmaceutów jest wyrazem poszanowania godności każdego człowieka; jak też przeciwstawienia się łamaniu podstawowych praw; jakimi są: prawo do życia oraz prawo do działania zgodnie z wewnętrznym przekonaniem. Na koniec zwrócono uwagę na obowiązujący także farmaceutę wymóg dawania świadectwa o prawdzie moralnej w odniesieniu do ostatecznego celu życia człowieka; jakim jest zjednoczenie z Bogiem.; Dopiero takie kompleksowe spojrzenie daje rzeczywisty obraz konfliktu moralnego farmaceuty wynikającego z; zobowiązywania go do sprzedaży środków; których stosowanie jest sprzeczne z jego sumieniem.
    In modern society, many health care practitioners (including pharmacists) are called through the voice of conscience to defend the fundamental human right to life, as well as to protect the dignity of women. Christian pharmacists are forced to act against their personal beliefs, because to fulfill their obligation they have to distribute products which may influence the early stages of the developing human embryo by inhibiting its implantation in the uterus. Some pharmacists refuse to fill prescriptions for such products using the so called "conscience clause" even when there is a lack of legal protection. Often such difficult situations give rise to serious moral questions. Certainly,  Christian  pharmacists  can  help  moral  reflection,  but  the  theological  aspects of a pharmacist's conscientious objection have not been sufficiently studied yet. Therefore, the discussion of this matter is not only necessary but urgent. First, the medical, psychological, social, and spiritual implications of the use of ethically questionable products are underlined. Subsequently, a pharmacist's conscientious objections are considered in the context of the Catholic doctrine of cooperation in evil with particular reference to the evoking of scandal. Furthermore, the conflict between obeying God's law and human law is presented. The conscientious objection of pharmacists is not only a mere gesture but an outstanding act of great value. Objection is raised by conscience in those situations where human dignity and human life are at risk. The importance of the requirement of testimony to moral truth as well as a spiritual union with God, the ultimate goal of human existence, is also emphasized. Additionally, pharmacists as medical specialists, have a professional and ethical responsibility toward their patients for what they dispense to them.

    This article presents the issue of moral upbringing in families based on a mixed Catholic-Lutheran marriage in a synthetic way. In the time of the crisis of upbringing as such, it becomes essential to pay attention to moral upbringing, which is the foundation of all education, and should be passed on by parents, as the first educators. They take actions that, despite a difference in religion, guide children to form a moral conscience, proper interpersonal relations, and educate them about love, that should be based on truth. In mixed denominational families, the transmission of moral upbringing takes place in the spirit of ecumenism, which means that, despite the threats that may arise, the testimony of Christian love and unity speaks out even stronger.

    The goal of this article is recollection of traditional forms of penance often called; Three Good Deeds: fasting, almsgiving and prayer. Looking at the main object of these reflections from the point of view of social moral theology allows one to see how influential are these three good deeds on one’s life, in the fulfillment of oneself, in the relationship with God as well as in the relationship with others. Apart from the above and through the use of Biblical tradition, teaching of the Fathers and the rich teaching of the Church, it also reflects on their source of vitality from antiquity to modern times. The final part of the research focuses on threats in practicing these three good deeds, which includes: secularism, lost sense of sin, consumerism, and permissivism. It is worth mentioning that this refection gains an additional value during this “year of faith,” especially if interpreted in the context of living faith. Often due to the lack of faith fasting, almsgiving and prayer are forgotten and misunderstood.

    The Catholic Church’s Social Teaching dealing with mankind is interested in the person and their way of progressing in the world. As John Paul II stated, Catholic Social Teaching “belongs [...] to the field [...] of theology, particularly moral theology” (SRS 41; CA 55). Polish moralists in the area of social moral theological studies undertake the issue of economic-social life, and in particular its anthropological dimension. Moral reflections from the theological point of view allow for an integral grasping of the involvement of the person in the life of society. The goal of the presented report is to show an integral concept of the person as the fundamental dimension of social-economic life. The principle source of this work is comprised of views presented on the given topic by the nation’s moralists during over a dozen lately held yearly meetings of the Section of Polish Moral Theologians. The contents of the report are divided into three parts: (1) the integrated vision of the person as the principle element of evaluating the social-economic order; (2) threats to the human person in the context of contemporary social-political life and (3) pointing to ways of overcoming these threats.

    The beginning of each pontificate indicates the important topics that take the new pope. In the case of Francis, we see that the problem of the poor and the suffering has become a particular point in preaching and pastoral activity of the Church. It is therefore important to look at this issue from the perspective of biblical, patristic and theological. This is the substance of interest in Catholic social ethics and moral theology, which show solidarity and subsidiarity as a principle of building the common good and moral order.
    Początek każdego pontyfikatu wskazuje na ważne tematy, które podejmuje nowy papież. W przypadku Franciszka dostrzegamy, że problem ludzi ubogich i cierpiących ma się stać szczególnym punktem w przepowiadaniu i działalności pasterskiej Kościoła. Dlatego warto spojrzeć na tę kwestię z perspektywy biblijnej, patrystycznej oraz teologicznej. Stanowi to meritum zainteresowań katolickiej etyki społecznej oraz teologii moralnej, które wskazują na solidarność i pomocniczość jako zasady budowania dobra wspólnego i ładu moralnego.
    Am Beginn jedes neuen Pontifikates wird mit Spannung erwartet, welche thematischen Schwerpunkte der neue Pontifex herausstellt. Schon sehr schnell machte Papst Franziskus deutlich, dass die Armen und Notleidenden neu ins Zentrum der kirchlichen Praxis und der Verkündigung gerückt werden müssen. Seine Namenswahl sollte dabei also Programm sein. Der Bezug zu Franz von Assisi und damit dem Ideal der Armut ist unübersehbar wiederum ins Zentrum der Weltkirche gerückt. Dass sich die Kirche besonders gegenüber den Armen solidarisch zeigen muss, war dabei selbstverständlich nie in Vergessenheit geraten. Jene Solidarität stellt nach wie vor eine Hauptintention der katholischen Soziallehre und der Sozialethik dar. Jene Sozialethik hat sich in einem langen Prozess zu einem sich weiterhin wandelnden Korpus entwickelt, der uns heute vor Augen steht.
