Opis:
Seafaring is one of the world's most difficult professions. Seafarers have to face with many negative factors while they are at sea. These negative factors, makes the seafaring profession difficult to be preferred. Fatigue, stress, heavy weather conditions and lack of communication are some of these factors that affect seafarer’s occupational continuity and also make contribution to occurrence of marine accidents. Cadet is one of the seafarers who will be a navigation officer and captain in the near future. That’s why cadets have a significant role in maritime industry. Theoretical and practical training of cadets is very important. Purpose of this study was to examine deck cadets’ training conditions and difficulties they have to face with during their training period. In order to identify these difficulties, render their lives during trainings easier, and establish their expectations, questionnaire conducted with 618 deck cadets. Interviews were carried out with 3 trainers and 10 maritime companies that have substantial shares in Turkey’s maritime trade. As a result of this study identified factors that increase fatigue mostly, reduction measures have been exposed and have tried to offer solutions. This study is an advisory to improve the occupational continuity of cadets in the profession.

Szkoła Rycerska to jeden z ważniejszych projektów modernizacyjnych przeprowadzonych w połowie lat 60. XVIII wieku przez Stanisława Augusta i jego współpracowników, tuż po wstąpieniu na tron Polski. Projekt edukacyjny wyprzedzający o kilka lat powołanie Komisji Edukacji Narodowej, pierwszej w Polsce i w Europie władzy oświatowej o charakterze współczesnego ministerstwa oświaty publicznej, świeckiej. Aby inicjatywa nowoczesnej szkoły się powiodła, potrzebna była dobrze przygotowana kadra, także kierownicza (duża jej część to cudzoziemcy), odpowiednio skonstruowany edukacyjno-wychowawczy program (początkowo oparty na zachodnich wzorcach) i podręczniki. Formującą rolę odegrał w wypadku udowany rytuał wspomagany przez teksty: katechizmy, dialogi, formularze, które traktować trzeba jako narzędzia mnemotechniczne, ale też budujące tożsamość absolwenta Szkoły, w założeniu kuźni elity wojskowej i administracyjnej państwa. Nie można w jej opisie pominąć warstwy obyczajowej wymykającej się programom wychowawczym i kadeckiej codzienności, w której nie brakowało też pojedynków czy wstydliwych chorób.
The School of Chivalry is one of the most signifi cant modernisation projects carried out in the mid-1760s by Stanisław August and his collaborators shortly after he ascended to the Polish throne. It was an educational project implemented a few years before the establishment of the Commission of National Education, the fi rst educational authority in Poland and in Europe, the function of which corresponded to the present ministry of public, secular education. For the initiative of a modern school to be successful, it needed a well-qualified personnel, including the management staff (a high number of them were foreigners), an appropriately structured educational programme (initially based on Western models), and textbooks. What played a forming role in the case of the Corps of Cadets was an complex ritual supported by the following texts: catechism books, dialogues, forms, which should be treated as mnemotechnical tools, but also as ones building the identity of a graduate from the School, which was intended to be a breeding ground for the military and administrative elite of the state. Its description cannot ignore the moral layer that escaped the educational programmes and the cadets’ everyday life, which was not devoid of duels and embarrassing diseases.

Szczególnym przedmiotem badań empirycznych są stażyści w dziedzinie nauk wojskowych, specjalizujący się w organizacji i zarządzaniu jednostkami wojskowymi na poziomie taktycznym w Narodo wym Uniwersytecie Wojskowym w Bułgarii.
The article presents the impact of military organizational culture on the individual performance of learners. Its aim is to identify some components of military organizational cul ture that influence individual performance in the training process, which is especially related to motivation for training and military activity. Specific subjects of empirical research are trainees in the Military Science professional field, specialising in Organisation and Management of Military Units at a Tactical Level at the National Military University in Bulgaria.

Objectives: The aim of the present study was to determine the physical activity levels of active duty police officers and police academy cadets in different life domains and intensities. These parameters were treated as potential quantifiers that could be used when assessing individuals preparing for work as future police officers. Material and Methods: The study recruited 153 active police officers and 176 cadets attending a police academy and administered a diagnostic survey, the long-form version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, while in the statistical analysis the Student's t-test for independent groups was applied. Results: It was determined that police officers present high physical activity levels within the work domain, which are developed from initial training at a police academy and then throughout their police career. Conclusions: Such data are important in the light of the role police officers play in public safety as well as the prominence of physical activity within a particular profession and how it can be targeted and tailored to their needs.

Proces kształcenia studentów uczelni wojskowych oraz potrzeba ukształtowania właściwej sylwetki osobowo – zawodowej jej absolwentów, nie może funkcjonować bez wymogu aktywnego wspierania jego ludzkiego czynnika. Stanowi on główny cel pracy dydaktycznej podlegającej czynnikom kierowania tym procesom. Świadome motywowanie to jedynie wycinek wieloaspektowego oddziaływania na studentów uczelni wojskowych, a na podstawie analizy literatury można uznać, iż proces motywowania funkcjonujący w uczelni wojskowej jest silnym motorem napędzającym wszelkie działania jej członków. Traktowanie zagadnień zjawiska motywacji w organizacji o charakterze zhierarchizowanym w sposób pobieżny może doprowadzić do zaburzeń w wykształceniu oficera – profesjonalisty.
The process of educating students at military schools, as well as a need to shape the proper personal and professional profile of their graduates, will not work if to actively support its human factor is not required. It constitutes the main goal of educational activity that is subject to the factors of directing these processes. Conscious motivation is only part of a multifaceted influence on students at military schools, and following an analysis of literature one may conclude that the process of motivation existing in a military school is a strong force driving all the actions undertaken by its members. Dealing with the issues of motivation in an extremely hierarchical organization in a cursory way may pervert the education of an officer-a professional.

В статті вивчаються погляди науковців щодо сутності поняття “Дидактичні принципи“ та застосування їх у  навчально-виховному процесі освітніх закладів. Говориться про структуру змісту навчання льотчиків і  знання, якими повинен оволодіти майбутній авіафахівець під час професійної підготовки у  вищій школі. Розглядається питання застосування дидактичних принців у  процесі професійної підготовки курсантів льотних навчальних закладів. Проведений огляд загально дидактичних принців і  специфічних процесуальних принципів, що застосовуються під час професійної підготовки майбутніх авіаційних спеціалістів.
W artykule analizowane się poglądy uczonych na temat definicji pojęcia zasady dydaktyczne i ich zastosowanie w procesie kształcenia w іnstytucjach edukacyjnych. Dotyczy on struktury i  zawartości szkolenia pilotów podczas treningu w  szkole wyższej w  procesie przygotowania zawodowego studentów lotniczych instytucji edukacyjnych. Jest to przegląd ogólnych zasad dydaktycznych i szczególnych zasad proceduralnych stosowanych w procesie kształcenia zawodowego przyszłych specjalistów w dziedzinie lotnictwa.
The article studies the points of view of different scientists concerning the main point of the notion “Deductive principles“ and its applying in training processes of educational institutions. It is indicated the structure of the pilots’ training and knowledge that must be mastered by future aviation specialist while studying in high school. It is also considered the issue of applying deductive principles in professional training process of flight academy cadets. It was made the review of general deductive and specific procedural principles which are applied in professional training of future aviation specialist.

Opis:
Purpose: The purpose of the article is a presentation and an analysis of research on motivational salience and satisfaction with training in the field of security and defense that was carried out with the assistance of a number of universities and academies in Europe. Method: Survey research and statistical analysis including, and certain statistical methods were applied for processing of the grouped statistical data, their interpretation and offering of the relevant decisions. Results: The study attempts to outline the foundation of the methodology for conducting research on motivational salience and its relation with satisfaction in security and defense training, following the example of higher education institutions in Europe. The research findings are characterized by the scale of scientific and practical research and covering 19 educational institutions in the field of security and defense in Europe. The research is distinguished by the presence of a scientific subject not only at the national level but also at the international level. The results are in the area of interest to the academic staff of the military universities and academies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, and others. Conlusion/findings: The study was discussed at the extended scientific board of the Logistics of the Security Department at the Vasil Levski National Military University in Bulgaria. The thesis that has been elaborated as a result of carried out works was the subject of the defense in the Security and Defence area of higher education in Bulgaria.

Purpose: The purpose of the article is to search and presenting methods of supporting education in the field of security and defense using the opportunities for implementing integrated educational and scientific fields, where one of these is the motivation salience area. Method: Survey-based on the questionnaire that included 24 points, helping achieve the scientific goals and allow testing the validity of the research hypothesis formulated and made scientific assumptions. The representative sample has been made up of 156 people. Results: The main part of the study was conducted in the period 2013-2017 and aims to analyze the motivational performance in the training process of four consecutive classes of learners in order to develop models for linear prognosis of trends on certain dimensions: 1) Personal effort, 2) Perceptions and attitudes towards equity 3) Achieved results and performance, 4) Positive and negative reinforcements, awards and sanctions, 5) Relation expected effort - prize probability - degree of satisfaction. Conlusion/findings: Protecting and promoting the development of Bulgarian education in the field of security and defense could not be achieved without stepping up cooperation in a bilateral format and without using the opportunities for implementing integrated educational and scientific projects in the EU Encouraging and motivating young people to continue their education in these areas is an important milestone in overcoming social and demographic problems through the production of security and defense specialists without neglecting the need to develop and strengthen the scientific and research activities for their training needs and the process of acquiring appropriate education.

On the basis of an approved request by the Head of National Military University it is conducting research on motivation in military formations of the example of Vasil Levski National Military University in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Subject of the study is motivation for training and military activities of the cadets and the objects of the study are students in professional military direction in „Organization and management of military units at the tactical level”, Land forces faculty at the National Military University of Bulgaria. The article presents the results of study at third item – „How does the strictly program in university affect your academic performance?”. The interviewees were cadets who graduated through the following academic years - 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016.
Na podstawie wniosku zatwierdzonego przez szefa Narodowego Uniwersytetu Wojskowego zostały przeprowadzone badania na temat motywacji w formacjach wojskowych na przykładzie Narodowego Wojskowego Uniwersytetu im. Vasila Levskiego w Wielkim Tyrnowie w Bułgarii. Przedmiotem badania była motywacja do szkolenia i działań wojskowych kadetów, a obiektami badań byli studenci przygotowywani do zawodowej służby wojskowej na kierunku organizacja i zarządzanie jednostkami wojskowymi na poziomie taktycznym na Wydziale Wojsk Lądowych Narodowego Uniwersytetu Wojskowego Bułgarii. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań na temat: Jak ścisły program uniwersytetu może wpływać na wyniki w nauce? Badaniu zostali poddani podchorążowie, którzy kończyli uczelnię w kolejnych latach akademickich - 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016.
