Opis:
Aim/purpose – The study aims to understand the contribution of the experiential events how to influence the brand loyalty while the consumer synchronized with brand under the brand resonance. Design/methodology/approach – The study combines Schmitt’s five distinct experience ‘modules’ with the SEM method to explore the relationship among these five experience dimensions and brand experience, and applies the Keller’s CBBE model to explore whether the experiential events that consumer participated could help the company build brand resonance through the brand experience delivering in the event. The study applies convenient sampling method and collects data through online questionnaire platform from April 12 to April 26, 2015. Deleting invalid or incomplete questionnaires, the study gets 204 valid samples from the total 229 respondents. Findings – The findings indicate that these five strategic experiences dimensions are positively related to the brand experience; the positive relationships among brand experience, brand resonance, and brand loyalty also exist. Research implications/limitations – The results of the study have some strategic implications for marketing practice. The findings point out that event marketing could be considered as an effective tool to enlarge customer base and to build brand loyalty. In the real world, the more event marketing adopts; the stronger brand experience is and the higher the effect on brand loyalty will be. Nevertheless, the study cannot provide specific constructive suggestion: how to design events to stimulate and create a strong, memorable brand experience. Originality/value/contribution – Few studies examine the effect of each brand experience dimensions on brand relationship, and this study fills this gap.

Opis:
The purpose of this study is to identify the social, epistemic and conditional values associated with automobiles and to examine their impact on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. A sample size of 198 respondents was chosen from various locations near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia using convenient sampling techniques. A multi-factor customer perceived value questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1 to 5 was used to collect the data to determine the social, epistemic and conditional perceived values associated with automobiles and their impact on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. AMOS was used to generate the result and to analyse the collected data. 5 items were reduced from the original construct to meet the standard loading during the confirmatory factor analysis. Then structural modelling was conducted on a full model and satisfaction as a mediator model. The findings were that epistemic value and conditional value have a positive and signifi cant impact on satisfaction. Also epistemic value and satisfaction have a positive and signifi cant impact on loyalty. However, social value has a negative impact on satisfaction and loyalty in the full model and the mediator model as well. Therefore, epistemic value and conditional value are important dimensions or values associated with automobile brands in Saudi Arabia and they affect customer satisfactions and loyalty.

Opis:
The aim of this research was to examine the nature of the relationship between price strategy and brand loyalty in case of a high involvement product (i.e. the car). A consumer may perceive the price of a product as an implication of its quality or as an implication of the value of a purchase in comparison with other goods of the same type. On the basis of the above assumptions, two price strategies were proposed: „price is not significant – the best product” and „price is significant – a cheaper product”. Two separate studies were carried out. The first sample consisted of 126 subjects, 55 males and 71 females aged 24-46. Brand loyalty behaviour was determined according to repeated measure of attitude toward brands in a specified period of time. Binary Logit Regression Analysis was applied and it revealed that the relationship between brand loyal behaviour towards a car make and price strategy is significant. The more important the strategy „price is not significant – the best product” is for the purchasers, the less likely brand loyal behaviour is to occur. The other sample consisted of 172 subjects, 79 males and 93 females aged 25-50. Brand loyalty was determined according to brand awareness measurement. Multinomial Logit Regression Analysis was applied and it revealed that the relationship between brand loyal behaviour and price strategy is significant. The more important price strategy is for purchasers, the less likely brand loyal behaviour is to occur. Both studies led to the conclusion that the purchaser’s price strategy „price is not significant – the best product” may decrease the likelihood of brand loyal behaviour towards a car make.

Opis:
Corporate Social Responsibility is based on voluntary business practice taking into account the environmental and social issues, while also forming partnerships, responsible relationships with all stakeholders of company, i.e. customers, investors, employees, suppliers, the media, public administration and the local community. This responsible approach to the wider environment – becomes a standard, imposed enterprises, which changes the functioning of companies. Despite some backlog compared to the more developed economies of Western European countries, among others, in society's attitude towards environmental issues and engage the business sector in the social sphere, this concept is applied in enterprises operating in Poland and relatively well evaluated by potentially interested in its implementation – the consumers. CSR is noticed among others and in advertising and activities at points of sale. In this area, however, there is a deficiency, as respondents in their answers stressed that “do not see” practices of CSR in the market activities of enterprises. Unfortunately, they are not take into account the company's activities in the field of CSR when shopping also. This means that on the one hand, Polish consumers are convinced of the benefits that may give an undertaking after implement CSR, on the other hand – do not choose products (services) socially responsible companies. The aim of this article is to present the perception of Corporate Social Responsibility by Polish consumers and its impact on brand loyalty.

Purpose: Drawing on self-determination theory (SDT), this article aims to examine the impact of customers’ intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity on purchase intentions for luxury brands. Moreover, this study delves into the moderating effect of customer brand loyalty in these relationships. Methodology: To this end, we tested our hypotheses with a student sample (N = 169) from Pakistan. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), and moderation analysis techniques were used to analyze the data using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. Findings: The results of data analysis indicated that a customer’s purchase intention for luxury brands is significantly influenced by extrinsic religiosity, while intrinsic religiosity has trivial influence in boosting purchase intention for a luxury brand. Our results for moderation analysis further show that customer purchase intention for a luxury brand is reinforced by intrinsic religiosity when customer brand loyalty is high but not when customer brand loyalty is low, whereas purchase intention for a luxury brand is fortified more by extrinsic religiosity when customer brand loyalty is low than when customer brand loyalty is high. Research Limitations: As with any set of cross-sectional studies, our research is not without limitations. For instance, the sample size in the current study is purposefully small. This limits the generalizability of findings across a wider population. Implications/originality/value: This study has provided a framework to explain how customers’ intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity affected the purchase intentions of luxury brands in the emerging market.

Faced with increased competition, business schools seem to have realized that having the strongest brands, hence, a distinct image, is vital to strengthening their presence in the education market. It is in this context that the presented paper focuses on assessing the dimensions of brand equity of business schools from the MBA-enrolled student’s perspective, with a specific reference to the Peruvian market. In this regard, it builds an instrument around five dimensions of brand equity, namely, brand loyalty, brand association, brand awareness, perceived quality, and overall brand perception. Additionally, it furnishes a snapshot of the Peruvian business schools sector by means of providing the order of dimensions pertaining to each business school. The analysis suggests that perceived quality seems to be the most important dimension of brand equity, while the overall brand perception is almost always ranked last. Conceptualizing brand equity from the MBA-enrolled student’s perspective can prove to be useful as this framework could assist business schools in designing marketing strategies to improve their brand equity and gain a higher student share.
