Opis:
To this novel type of statistical causality Bohr gave the name complementarity; the two mutually exclusive modes of description where said to be complementary, and they then conditioned each other in a statistical way. This relation of complementarity, expressing the limitations of the classical concepts, made it possible to give a complete and consistent account of the atomic phenomena in terms of such classical concepts of physics. According to N. Bohr, there is effort to achieving a more and more precise formulation of the complementarity idea, and to developing its wider ontological or gnoseological implications as soon as possible the phenomenological applications to others sciences, on this article, by the Quantum Mechanics.

Opis:
Quantitative solutions involving classical methods indicated that the numbers of quantum foci within the human cerebrum are the same order of magnitude as the numbers of synapses in the cerebral cortices. The Bohr frequency for the magnitude of the quantum associated with the removal of one nucleus from another is within the range of the width of synapse (~1 μm) while the recoil energy from a rest mass photon is equivalent to the energy produced by the entire field of dynamic neurons per second. The intrinsic energy (10-20 J) associated with each action potential is similar to the gravitational potential energy from Planck’s mass applied across 1 μm. Both the endogenous cerebral magnetic field strength which is similar in magnitude to intergalactic intensities and the interaction between weak geomagnetic variations and the cerebrum’s electric dipole current are associated with photon flux densities in the order (10-11 W∙m-2) that have been measured in the laboratory. The perspective of the human cerebral volume as a field of foci of photon quanta offers different perspectives for the intrinsic nature of consciousness and cognition and their influence by phenomena from astronomical origins.

Opis:
Let G be a maximally almost periodic (MAP) Abelian group and let ℬ be a boundedness on G in the sense of Vilenkin. We study the relations between ℬ and the Bohr topology of G for some well known groups with boundedness (G,ℬ). As an application, we prove that the Bohr topology of a topological group which is topologically isomorphic to the direct product of a locally convex space and an $ℒ_∞$-group, contains "many" discrete C-embedded subsets which are C*-embedded in their Bohr compactification. This result generalizes an analogous theorem of van Douwen for the discrete case and some other ones due to Hartman and Ryll-Nardzewski concerning the existence of $I_0$-sets. We also obtain some results on preservation of compactness for the Bohr topology of several types of MAP Abelian groups, like $ℒ_∞$-groups, locally convex vector spaces and free Abelian topological groups.

Opis:
It is a long standing open problem whether Sidon subsets of ℤ can be dense in the Bohr compactification of ℤ ([LR]). Yitzhak Katznelson came closest to resolving the issue with a random process in which almost all sets were Sidon and and almost all sets failed to be dense in the Bohr compactification [K]. This note, which does not resolve this open problem, supplies additional evidence that the problem is delicate: it is proved here that if one has a Sidon set which clusters at even one member of ℤ, one can construct from it another Sidon set which is dense in the Bohr compactification of ℤ. A weaker result holds for quasi-independent and dissociate subsets of ℤ.
