Research background: Inflation has always been the core issue of economic research and there are many academic research achievements in this field. In recent years, global inflation has intensified, and many scholars focus on research in this field again, providing certain reference value for countries around the world to formulate corresponding macro policies. Purpose of the article: The five-year impact factors are used as the evaluation criteria in this paper, and 1,637 high-quality documents on inflation from 1906 to 2022 are collected from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Using bibliometrics, a comprehensive review of influential literature in the field of inflation is conducted to reveal the evolution and trends of the field. Methods: First, we focus on these high-quality documents about the descriptive statistical characteristics, high cited documents and high impact factor journals. Then, based on the visualization tool, the cooperative network of countries/regions, authors and institutions is depicted and the cooperative relationship between them is determined. At the same time, the most influential countries/regions, authors and institutions are identified by analyzing the citation structure. In addition, through thematic and keyword analysis, the topic hotspots and future research trends of high-quality literature in the field of inflation are deduced. Findings & value added: On the whole, the research on inflation in the United States is relatively mature, and has produced a large number of influential academic cooperation results. Finally, we have a series of discussions on the history of inflation in the United States and policy suggestions. In the future, governments of various countries, especially the United States, will still face certain challenges in how to formulate policies and measures to mitigate the impact of inflation.

Analiza bibliometryczna artykułów naukowych dostarcza cennych informacji o strukturze zarówno nauki, jak i jej wybranych obszarów (np. zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw). Autorzy artykułu dokonali przeglądu publikacji w "Gospodarce Materiałowej i Logistyce" za lata 2010-2012 z zastosowaniem narzędzi analizy bibliometrycznej. Celem przeglądu była identyfikacja obszarów badawczych w zakresie zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw oraz ustalenie zawartości i struktury. Cel badań został zrealizowany poprzez analizę bibliometryczną bazy opublikowanych w latach 2010-2012 artykułów (ich anglojęzycznych abstraktów). Rezultaty analizy posłużyły do sformułowania wniosków dotyczących kluczowych, newralgicznych kierunków rozwojowych badań zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw w polskim obszarze badawczym na najbliższe lata.
Bibliometric analysis of scientific articles provides valuable information on the structure of both science and the selec- lod areas (eg. supply chain management). The authors reviewed the publication in „Materials Management and Logistics” for the years 2010-2012 using bibliometric analysis tools. The purpose of the review was to identify areas of research in the field of supply chain management and to determine the content and structure. Aim of the study was carried out by analyzing the bibliometric database for 2010-2012 published articles (the English-language abstracts). Bibliometric analysis confirmed the high performance potential of supply chain management as an area of scientific and research activities. Despite the narrow time frame of the analysis in the study area was observed high variability subjects of articles (as well as research projects, the underlying). Some research areas have remained unchanged, and the number of published articles confirmed the continued interest of researchers defined issues (eg. transport processes within the supply chain). In some of the analyzed periods occurred more than average interest in part of the problem areas.

The aim of the article is to identify and analyze the main concentrations in research on innovations in the low technology sectors in terms of important research centers, researchers and journals. A set of three research questions was adopted according to the ranges of concentration specified in the article’s aim. The method of bibliometric analysis was used to search for a set of questions. The analytical data come from the Scopus database from 1977-2015. The center in which the most research in the analyzed area is conducted is the Spanish Universitat Politècnica de València. Hartmut Hirsch-Kreinsen published the most research, which was obtained by a relatively high total citations index. Regarding the most important journals focused on innovations in the low technology sectors, “Research Policy” and “Technovation” deserve attention. These are the titles where the most articles were published, they were relatively high quoted and the journals have a high impact factor. The general conclusion is that this research area is niche and unattractive to researchers and thus seems somewhat neglected.
Celem artykułu jest zidentyfikowanie i przeanalizowanie głównych koncentracji w badaniach nad innowacjami w sektorach niskich technologii w zakresie istotnych ośrodków naukowo – badawczych, badaczy i czasopism. Przyjęto zestaw trzech pytań badawczych odpowiadających zakresom koncentracji określonym w celu artykułu. Do poszukiwania odpowiedzi na zestaw pytań zastosowano metodę analizy bibliometrycznej. Dane analityczne pochodzą z bazy Scopus z okresu 1977-2015. Okazało się, że ośrodkiem, w którym prowadzi się najwięcej badań z analizowanego zakresu jest hiszpański Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. Najwięcej badań, które uzyskały relatywnie wysoki sumaryczny indeks cytowań opublikował Hartmut Hirsch-Kreinsen. Jeżeli chodzi o najistotniejsze czasopisma skoncentrowane na innowacjach w sektorach niskich technologii to na szczególną uwagę zasługuje „Research Policy” i „Technovation”. Są to tytuły, gdzie opublikowano najwięcej artykułów, były one relatywnie wysoko cytowane a same czasopisma mają wysoki impact factor. Ogólny wniosek jest jednak taki, że ten obszar badawczy jest niszowy i mało atrakcyjny dla badaczy a tym samym wydaje się nieco zaniedbany.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wyników metaanalizy prac naukowych z zakresu międzynarodowej konkurencyjności, opublikowanych w ciągu ostatnich siedemdziesięciu lat w bazach ISI Web of Science oraz EconLit. W analizie wykorzystane zostały podstawowe metody bibliometryczne przy wsparciu oprogramowania HistCite. Przeprowadzona analiza umożliwiła ocenę w czasie rozwoju badań nad międzynarodową konkurencyjnością oraz identyfikację głównych autorów i publikacji mających kluczowe znaczenie dla tego obszaru badań. Zidentyfikowana różnorodność podejść do definiowania i podnoszenia międzynarodowej konkurencyjności gospodarki/sektora/przedsiębiorstwa potwierdza tezę o braku spójnych ram teoretycznych umożliwiających jednoznaczną odpowiedź, czym naprawdę jest międzynarodowa konkurencyjność.
This paper has as main objectives to consolidate the state of the art of academic research of international competitiveness, based on bibliometric study of literature published over the past 40 years. Citation data was collected from ISI WEB of Science Website from Thompson's Scientific Data and analyzed using the HistCite and CitNetExpolrer software. A new method of analyzing literature related to international competitiveness may help improve one's understanding of complex research topic and may help to suggest new research directions or alternative research priorities. The results are discussed under following perspectives: general results, chronological distributions, authors, articles and cited references relevance. The analysis shows the lack of a coherent theoretical framework, which makes it impossible to clearly answer to the question what international competitiveness is.

Cel, jaki postawiła sobie autorka artykułu, zakładał scharakteryzowanie pod względem ilościowym piśmiennictwa polskiego tematycznie związanego z problematyką komputeryzacji bibliotek w Polsce, określenie dynamiki jego wzrostu na przestrzeni ostatniego półwiecza oraz przedstawienie charakterystyki ilościowej – szczegółowych zagadnień, które były przedmiotem publikacji do końca 2017 r. Zastosowana została metoda bibliometryczna, a źródłem danych do analiz bibliometrycznych była „Polska Bibliografia Bibliologiczna” (PBB). Badanie pozwoliło określić, kiedy w polskim piśmiennictwie bibliologicznym i informatologicznym zaczęły pojawiać się pierwsze publikacje na temat automatyzacji bibliotek oraz jak kształtowała się dynamika wzrostu piśmiennictwa w tym obszarze w latach 1970–2009. Z zagadnień szczegółowych oznaczono jedynie publikacje nt. katalogów online, bibliotek cyfrowych i Internetu w bibliotekarstwie. Badanie pozwoliło również zidentyfikować czynniki, które utrudniały lub wręcz uniemożliwiały przeprowadzenie – niezbędnych dla otrzymania wiarygodnych wyników – analiz bibliometrycznych. Praca została wzbogacona o elementy analizy „Polskiej Bibliografii Bibliologicznej” pod kątem jej przydatności jako źródła do badań bibliometrycznych omawianej problematyki.
One planned to present a quantitative description of the Polish literature which is thematically associated with the problems of the computerisation of libraries in Poland; to define the dynamics of its growth across the span of the last fifty years and to identify – and to provide a quantitative description thereof – of the particular problems which were the subject of the publication until the end of 2017. One applied a bibliometrical method, and the source of data for the bibliometrical analyses was constituted by the “Polish Bibliological Bibliography” (PBB). The study enabled one to determine the time when the bibliological and informatological literature saw the emergence of the first publications which are thematically associated with the problems of the automatisation of libraries and how the dynamics of the growth of the literature in this field occurred in the years 1970–2009. As far as the particular problems are concerned, one indicated only the publications devoted to online catalogues, digital libraries and the Internet in library science. The study also facilitated the identification of factors which hindered or even precluded bibliometrical analyses – the latter were necessary for the obtaining of reliable results. The work was enhanced by the elements of the analysis of the “Polish Bibliological Bibliography” in terms of its utility as a source for bibliometrical research in the problems which are discussed.

The article presents essential reservations about the proposal and the adopted Act 2.0 vel Constitution for Science. It focuses on the analysis of two topics: model of university and model of evaluation of journals and books. Our analysis is made in the light of knowledge of integrated sciences of science (containing, i.a., history of science, history of organization of higher education system and science, scientometrics and bibliometrics) and a model of university of new humanism.The article calls for introduction of series of vital modifications in the analyzed Act 2.0 and implementing regulations to remedy their fundamental drawbacks.
Artykuł przedstawia zasadnicze zastrzeżenia wobec projektu i uchwalonej Ustawy 2.0 vel Konstytucji dla nauki i skupia się na analizie dwóch zagadnień: modelu uniwersytetu oraz modelu ewaluacji czasopism i książek. Analiza ta jest rozwijana w świetle wiedzy z zakresu zintegrowanego naukoznawstwa (w skład którego wchodzi m.in. historia nauki, historia organizacji szkolnictwa wyższego i nauki oraz naukometria i bibliometria) i modelu uniwersytetu nowego humanizmu.Artykuł postuluje wprowadzenie szeregu istotnych modyfikacji treści Ustawy 2.0 i rozporządzeń wykonawczych, aby zaradzić ich podstawowym wadom.

Przedstawiono wybór bibliografii z zakresu naukometrii, bibliometrii oraz informetrii. Bibliografia została wyselekcjonowana w ramach autorskich badań prowadzonych w zakresie: a) aktualnej debaty na temat naukometrii, bibliometrii oraz informetrii w Polsce, b) historii tych dyscyplin oraz c) historii naukoznawstwa. Zaletą takiego wyboru jest uwzględnienie wielu publikacji, które: a) przedstawiają poglądy zarówno polskich, jak i zagranicznych autorów; b) omawiają poważne ograniczenia metodyczne naukometrii, bibliometrii oraz informetrii; c) ukazują nierozerwalny związek tych dyscyplin z naukoznawstwem. Prezentowaną niżej bibliografię autor wykorzystał także w dwóch artykułach opublikowanych w tomie 14. Prac Komisji Historii Nauki PAU (rok 2015).
The text presents a selection of bibliography on scientometrics, bibliometrics and informetrics. The bibliography was chosen in the context of the author’s research of: a) the current debate on scientometrics, bibliometrics and informetrics in Poland, b) the history of these disciplines, and c) the history of the science of science. This selection has an important advantage because it includes many publications that a) represent the views both of Polish and foreign authors, b) discuss serious methodological limitations of scientometrics, bibliometrics and informetrics and c) show the inseparable connection between the disciplines and the science of science. This bibliography was already used in two of the author’s articles published in Prace Komisji Historii Nauki PAU, volume 14 (2015).

The article aims to identify scientific research areas within which the subject matter of binge drinking in relation to services is addressed, based on bibliometric data analysis characterising scientific publications indexed by the Scopus database. To achieve the aim, authors use different techniques of the bibliometric analysis with the support of the VOSviewer software. Results of the literature review on binge drinking show that harmful binge drinking behaviour is a subject of intervention services, which are undertaken by governmental and non-governmental institutions. As a theoretical contribution of the research part of the paper, it was proposed to qualify five categories containing the issue of binge drinking in relation to services, such as binge drinking consequences, the culture of alcohol consumption, alcohol versus risky sexual behaviours, alcohol intoxication and binge drinking, and the use of other substance among young people.

The aim of the article is to identify research areas that are relevant from the perspective of management in the field of cross-border tourism. The analysis is based on bibliometric information included in the Web of Science and Scopus database. The main task of the analysis is to identify current problems in the field of cross-border tourism management, taking into account regional characteristics as well as forms and content of tourism services. The authors use bibliometric analysis supported by the VOSviewer software. In addition, the case study method is used to identify the most common features and tendencies in the study of cross-border tourism management. A review of the literature in the field shows that the management of tourism services in border regions is currently a new branch of management sciences, which has seen a dynamic growth as evidenced by the number of studies published since the middle of the first decade of the 21st century. Most of them analyse problems of cross-border tourism management in Europe, in the border regions of Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal. The objectives of cross-border tourism management in this region are the background for sustainable development, harmonization of relationships at the regional level, concern for the state of the environment. One of the urgent problems is the management of health-related or medical cross-border tourism. A number of issues require more in-depth research, such as the management of transnational tourism services and products at the borders of the EU; European and world trends in the development of the tourism services market in the border regions; and the impact of cross-border tourism on local communities. The article’s contribution consists in providing a list of current problems in the study of cross-border tourism management and identifying research gaps in this field.

W notatce przedstawiono analizę cytowań polskich czasopism i serii z zakresu geografii i badań regionalnych opublikowanych w latach 1991–2010, opracowaną na podstawie serwisu naukowo-informacyjnego Google Scholar według stanu na kwiecień 2012 r. Analizy bibliometryczne wykazały generalnie słabe, choć zróżnicowane oddziaływanie publikacji. Wykazano dominującą rolę kilku tytułów, w tym Geographia Polonica i Studia Regionalne i Lokalne. Szczególnie ten ostatni kwartalnik odnotowuje szybki wzrost cytowań w ostatniej dekadzie.
The article presents an analysis of citations of the Polish scientific journals and series of geography and spatial economy in 1991–2010 years, developed on the basis of information service Google Scholar. Bibliometric analyzes showed generally weak, but the variation impact on the publication. Demonstrated the dominant role of several titles, including Geographia Polonicaand Regional and Local Studies. The latter title has grown rapidly in the last decade citations.

Opis:
Prezentujemy dzieje socjologii polskiej w okresie 1860–1939. Stosujemy metodę bibliometryczną, pragnąc ocenić jej walory poznawcze. Stworzony został w tym celu indeks cytowań (podstawę stanowią wszystkie książki wydane w tym okresie) oraz ukazano dynamikę rozwoju piśmiennictwa socjologicznego w Polsce, porównując liczby wydawnictw prac autorów polskich z przekładami z literatury obcej. Pozwoliło to na pokazania procesu indywidualizacji socjologii w Polsce w latach 1918–1939 oraz na wskazanie charakteru powiązań socjologii polskiej z nauką na świecie. Zastosowana metoda wydaje się mieć cenny walor poznawczy, pozwala na dopełnienie obrazu dziejów o pewne istotne fakty.
This article has two aims. One is to present the history of Polish Sociology 1860–1939, and the other is to estimate the cognitive value of bibliometrics in presenting a history of the discipline. In order to do so, (1) a citation index was built on a base of published sociological books in that period (2) the development of sociological writing in Poland was traced and compared with a number of foreign sociological books which were translated into the Polish language. These procedures enabled the process of individualisation in the field of Polish Sociology in the years 1918–1939 to be presented, with particular emphasis being given to the ties between Polish and world Sociology. Bibliometrics appears to have a crucial cognitive value and allows the history of the discipline to be supported with vital facts.

Model norweski stanowi próbę całościowego ujęcia recenzowanych publikacji naukowych we wszystkich obszarach wiedzy – z uwzględnieniem preferowanych typów publikacji i języków publikacji w naukach humanistycznych – za pomocą jednego ważonego wskaźnika, pozwalającego porównywać efekty badań naukowych wewnątrz różnych instytutów i wydziałów oraz pomiędzy instytucjami badawczymi. W artykule opisano główne składniki Modelu, metodę jego wdrożenia oraz efekty i doświadczenia trzech krajów wykorzystujących go, w których przeprowadzono jego ewaluację: Belgii (Flandrii), Danii i Norwegii. Zakończenie zawiera analizę Modelu z perspektywy nauk humanistycznych.
The ‘Norwegian Model’ attempts to comprehensively cover all the peer reviewed scholarly literatures in all areas of research – including the preferred formats and languages of scholarly publishing in the humanities – in one single weighted indicator which makes the research efforts comparable across departments and faculties within and between research institutions. This article describes the main components of the model and how it has been implemented, as well as the effects and experiences in three of the countries that are making use of the model, and where it has been evaluated: Belgium (Flanders), Denmark and Norway. The article concludes with a discussion of the model from the perspective of the humanities.

The aim to achieve the target of a 23% share of sustainable energies in the total Indonesia’s primary energy supply requires enormous amounts of works. Indonesia’s scientific knowledge production can support a successful transition to renewables. However, policy makers struggle to determine how the transition benefits from the scientific production on renewable. A bibliometric study using scientific publication data from the Web of Science (WoS) is used to probe how Indonesian scientific knowledge production can support the policy design for transition to sustainable energy. The seven focused disciplines are geothermal, solar, wind, hydro, bio, hybrid, and energy policy and economics. Based on the data from the above-listed disciplines, a deeper analysis is conducted, and implications to the policy design are constructed. The study reveals that bio energy is the focus of the research topics produced in Indonesia, followed by solar and hydro energy. Most RE research is related to the applied sciences. The innovation capability in the form of technology modifiers and technology adapters supports the transition to sustainable energy in Indonesia. The research on bio energy, however, is characterized by higher basic knowledge than research on solar and hydro energy. This suggests low barriers to the access to the resources and to the completion of bio research in Indonesia. Designing Indonesian energy policy by comprising discriminatively specific sustainable energy sources in the main policy instruments can therefore accelerate the sustainable transition and development.
Cel polegający na osiągnięciu 23% udziału odnawialnych źródeł energii w całkowitym zaopatrzeniu Indonezji w energię pierwotną jest bardzo trudnym zadaniem. Rozwój wiedzy naukowej może pomóc w pomyślnej jego realizacji. Decydenci mają jednak trudności z ustaleniem, jak wiele w tym procesie faktycznie zależy od nauki. Badanie bibliometryczne, z wykorzystaniem danych o publikacjach naukowych z bazy Web of Science (WoS), pozwalają wykazać, w jaki sposób rozwój indonezyjskiej wiedzy naukowej może wesprzeć projekt polityki przejścia na zrównoważoną energię. Siedem ukierunkowanych dyscyplin to polityka geotermalna, słoneczna, wiatrowa, wodna, bio-, hybrydowa oraz energetyczna i ekonomiczna. Na podstawie danych z wyżej wymienionych dyscyplin przeprowadzana jest głębsza analiza i konstruowane są implikacje dla polityki. Okazuje się, że bioenergia jest głównym przedmiotem badań prowadzonych w Indonezji, a następne miejsca zajmują energia słoneczna i wodna. Większość badań nad odnawialnymi źródłami energii dotyczy nauk stosowanych. Ponadto wspieranie innowacji wspiera przejście do zrównoważonej energii. Badania naukowe nad bioenergią mają bardziej podstawowy charakter, niż badania odnoszące się do energii słonecznej i wodnej. Sugeruje to łatwy dostęp do zasobów i znaczące zaawansowanie badań nad bioenergią w Indonezji. Opracowanie indonezyjskiej polityki energetycznej, uwzględniającej odnawialne źródła energii i ich specyfikę, może zatem przyspieszyć transformację energetyczną, zgodną z ideą zrównoważonego rozwoju.

The article presents the essence of information architecture as a process of nomenclature organization, navigation design and the search systems useful in information management. The key issue is to show in what way art and science of information environments management are becoming the tool for humanizing technology and the instrument of social development, as well as the way information architecture is becoming an inseparable part of humanistic, meta-scientific and practical aspects of the 21st century informatology. The authoress discusses various aspects of culture in Web 2.0 model, the main attributes of text architecture and also its inter-media communication functionality, scrutinizing the relation between culture of the surplus and the Internet axiology, the assumptions of economics and knowledge ecology as well as information engineering.
