Opis:
The authors studied the managing principles for running a modern transport enterprise. In research process the experience and results of foreign scientists were analyzed and different company management tools were compared. Special focus is given to ecological approach due to crucial relevance of environmental problem. In this connection, the importance of Toyota technologies and BOST method, created by a Polish scientist Borkowski S., is emphasized. The research has been carried out for transport enterprises, which are high-demand in any country of the world. The case study is the largest Russian railway company - JSC Russian Railways. As the result, the guidelines to the improvement of management principles for JSC Russian Railways have been developed.
Autorzy badali zasady zarządzania związane z prowadzeniem nowoczesnego przedsiębiorstwa transportowego. W procesie badawczym przeanalizowano doświadczenie i wyniki zagranicznych naukowców i porównano różne narzędzia do zarządzania firmą. Szczególną uwagę poświęca się podejściu biologicznemu ze względu na kluczowe znaczenie dla problemu ochrony środowiska. W tym względzie podkreślone jest znaczenie technologii Toyota i metody BOST, stworzonej przez polskiego naukowca S. Borkowskiego. Badania przeprowadzone zostały dla przedsiębiorstw transportowych, które są dużym zapotrzebowaniem w każdym kraju na świecie. Studium przypadku to największa rosyjska firma kolejowa - JSC Rosyjskie Koleje. W efekcie, opracowane zostały wytyczne do poprawy zasad gospodarowania dla Rosyjskich Koleji JSC.

The article presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys to identify the most important areas that require improvement actions. It was made the identification and of areas requiring improvement from the fourteenth Toyota’s management principle point of view. According to this principle it is crucial to determine the causes of problem by solving technical issues. The research object is company from illumination branch. Some production workers of the company with the help of BOST questionnaire survey showed, which factors can bring the best effect after being improved. In frames of the work it was made characteristics of the research object - producer of illumination, the presentation of research methodology and content fourteenth Toyota’s management principle. Based on the survey results of carried out on the population of production workers, a series of importance areas for improvement was formulated. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. In the article were presented results of analysis with using circular charts, box-and-whisker plots and some statistical tools. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

The article presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys to identify the most important areas in the production process. It was made the identification of areas from the second Toyota’s management principle point of view. This principle is based on the conviction that appropriate process leads to appropriate results. If the process is designed properly, then good results will come automatically. The research object is company producing the mineral water and carbonated drinks. In frames of the work it was made short characteristics of the research object - producer of mineral water, the presentation of research methodology and content second Toyota’s management principle. Based on the survey results of carried out on the population of production workers, a series of importance areas for improvement was formulated. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. In the article were presented results of analysis with using some statistical tools. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

The article presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance of safety in the workplace in the production processes of enterprise from metal products industry. Toyota's management principles by Jeffrey Liker were pointed out, which refers to elements of Toyota’s house roof. An innovative BOST questionnaire survey was characterized as a tool for transformation of Toyota's management principles into questions. Research group which participated in BOST study from the metal product industry was characterized. Research results were subjected to statistical analysis with a use of basic statistical parameters. Research results showed that safety in the workplace is important factor in the company.

The article presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance in visual control usage in the production processes of enterprises from automotive industry. The significance of visual control in a production process was characterized. An innovative BOST questionnaire survey was described as a tool for transformation of Toyota's management principles into questions. The survey questions from BOST study were described, which is used in evaluation of the visual control importance with reference to the second Toyota's management principle (question E3). The analysis of respondents preference in ranging factors of the second Toyota's management principle was conducted using comparative evaluation of Thurstone’s method, as well as the degree of similarity between these factors was indicated. A subjective factor was assessed by employees of automotive industry as one of less significant in the production process.

In the article a risk analysis of the production process of selected products in a plant producing votive candles was conducted. The Pareto-Lorenz diagram and FMEA method were used which indicated the most important areas affecting the production of selected elements of candles. The synthesis of intangible factors affecting production in the audited company was also carried out with particular emphasis on the operation of the production system. The factors determining the validity of studies was examined, describing the principle of BOST 14 Toyota management. The most important areas of the company were identified, positively affecting the production process.

In the article analysis of the discrepancies in the production process for selected products in a company producing candles was carried out. Using the Pareto-Lorenz diagram and the FMEA method the most essential areas having influence on the production of candles were shown. Apart from factors connected with the manufacturing side of the process, factors of the labour organization and requirements concerning the quality of material were also noted. An appropriate quality of equipment constitutes one of the essential conditions of production process functioning and this directly influences manufacturing possibilities of the enterprise. A synthesis of immaterial factors that influence the production of the enterprise, taking into consideration conditions of functioning the production system, was also carried out. The set of factors selected for description was the fourteenth Toyota management principle. Respondents were asked to provide answers which could bring the best improvements.

W rozdziale została przedstawiona charakterystyka cech respondentów, charakterystyka rozmieszczenia ocen na mapie kierowania i podziału (%) ocen na strefy mapy kierowania z uwzględnieniem optimum Toyoty, prezentacja w układzie 3D wyników badań dla liczby i struktury ocen, a także zestawienie w układzie 3D wyników analizy korelacyjnej wpływu cech respondentów na ocenę ważności czynników obszaru E9b dla różnych poziomów α. Z przeprowadzonego badania wynika, że dla respondentów najważniejsze są sprawy ludzkie (SP).
