- The literature lacks descriptions of how the wills were drown up. Information is usually ended with citation that the last will was made “on one’s deathbed” or “in disease”. Testimony made by Michał Stanisław Pastwicki on June 25, 1711 regarding wills of Anna nee Chodorowska Dolska primo voto Wiśniowiecka (ca. 1661–1711) allowed one to glimse behind the scenes of drawing up this kind of records. It proved that Anna nee Chodorowska Dolska dictated the last of her wills between 8 and 13 May 1711. The testimony drew attention to hurry and consistency in action and that adjustments were made in the document until the death of Anna Dolska, and were being hidden under the date of the earlier wills. Analysis of this “testimony” leads to the conclusion that the date of death of Anna nee Chodorowska Dolska should be shifted from May 6 – as stated in a book by Ilona Czamańska – on the night of 13 to 14 May 1711.
