    Opis:
    The originality of the subject is the usage of the category of a concept as a conceptual metaphor which is an attempt to approach the reality and a part of the author’s vision of the world. In the article the author actualizes semantic gradations of concept being in the lyrics of Alexander Kushner. The analysis shows that this concept is realized in different images and motifs, becoming the dominant of Kushner’s poetics. The semantic field of the concept includes such meanings as things/objects of the surrounding world, the artifacts of culture, (everyday) life.

    Opis:
    Alexander Kushner’s poetry is an endless and timeless dialogue with his predecessors. Alexander Pushkin has a special place among them. Overt and covert references to the author of “Eugene Onegin” are present at various levels of Kushner’s texts – in themes, images, ideas, as well as at the level of formal organization: in language and metrics. The present article deals with the modes of reception and interpretation of Pushkin’s lyrics in the oeuvre of the contemporary poet from St. Petersburg. The analysis focuses on the varied forms of Kushner’s intertextual dialogue with the Romantic poet (quotations, allusions, reminiscences, references both of literary and biographical character). The sources and nature of reminiscences from Pushkin are indicated, such as accepting dialogue, polemics, assimilation, rejection and partial redefinition.

    Статья посвящена феномену сверхтекста, его характеристике и классификациям. Осо- бое внимание уделяется Петербургскому тексту Александра Кушнера. Рассматриваются клю- чевые для данного сверхтекста образы и их репрезентации в лирике Кушнера, а также делает- ся попытка определить характер диалога со сложившейся литературной традицией.
    The paper is devoted to the phenomenon of a supertext, its characteristics and typology. Particular attention is paid to the ‘Petersburg text’ in the oeuvre of Alexander Kushner. The author analyzes key images of the ‘Petersburg text’ in Russian literature and their representations in the poetry of Kushner, trying to determine the nature of his dialogue with the earlier literary tradition.

    The topos of the dacha – like the topos of the city (St. Petersburg) and that of the garden – is an important element of the spatial dimension of Alexander Kushner’s poetic world. The article attempts to trace the productivity and functionality of the topos in selected texts of this contemporary poet. Attention is drawn to the characteristics of the categories of time and space, the constituents of the life on the dacha , as well as connections with the literary tradition. When taking up the subject, Kushner updates the rich semantics of the topos: the dacha as a place of retreat for a poet, a place of rest and work, the little homeland, a paradise on Earth.
    Топос дачи – наравне с топосом города (Петербурга) и сада – является существенным элементом пространственной картины мира А. С. Кушнера. В статье рассматривается функционирование топоса в выбранных стихотворениях поэта, выявляется своеобразие пространственно-временной характеристики дачи и ее бытовых составляющих, а также указываются связи с литературной традицией. Обращаясь к дачной теме, поэт актуализирует богатую семантику топоса: дача как место уединения, приют поэта, место отдыха и труда, малая родина, (земной) рай.

    В статье исследуются поэтические отражения образа сада в лирике Александра Кушнера. На материале избранных стихотворений поэта прослеживается как связь с литературной традицией, так и модификации универсального образа. Применяется семиотический подход, в котором пространство рассматривается как самостоятельная миромоделирующая категория (В. Н. Топоров и Ю. М. Лотман). В поэтической картине мира Кушнера сад – ценностно значимый образ, он многолик и полифункционален. Его трансформации связаны с индивидуальным восприятием сада/садов, а именно с новым типом взаимоотношений лирического героя и изображаемого пространства. Для поэта сад – один из главных героев его городского (и дачного) пейзажа. Многообразие его поэтических воплощений позволяет констатировать, что это место с исключительной атмосферой, оазис поэтического воображения, метафора творческого сознания, пространство воспоминаний – личных, исторических, культурных, зона контакта двух пространств – реального и воображаемого, место встречи с любимой, с поэтами-предшественниками, пространство, где совмещаются прошлое и настоящее, жизнь и творчество. Независимо от тематики, пафоса, интонации (лирической, драматической, иронической) в лирике Кушнера сад становится «входом» в иное пространство, пространство вечности.
    The article surveys how the European topos of the garden is reflected in Alexander Kushner’s poetry, in the form of both continuations and modifications. The analysis of the poet’s selected lyrical pieces reveals, on the one hand, a maintained relation with the tradition, while on the other, the emergence of certain new features – the latter connected with axiological transformations. The semiotic approach is applied, in which space is seen as an independent world-modelling category (V. N. Toporov and Yu. M. Lotman). In Kushner’s poetic picture of the world, the garden is a valuable image; it is multifaceted and multifunctional. The new features and meanings result from an individual reception of the garden(s), i.e. a new type of relationship between the subject and the presented space. For the poet, the garden is one of the main protagonists of his urban (and dacha) landscape. The diversity of his poetic incarnations allows us to state that it is a place with an exceptional atmosphere; an oasis of poetic imagination; a metaphor of creative consciousness; a space of memories – personal, historical, cultural; a contact zone of two spaces – real and imaginary; a meeting place with his beloved and with the poets predecessors; a space where past and present, life and creativity are combined. Regardless of the themes, pathos, and intonation (lyrical, dramatic, ironic) in Kushner’s lyrics, the garden becomes an “entrance” to another space, the space of eternity.
