Opis:
This paper presents the development of the structure of the integrated ON-LINE information system for collective use of renewable energy. Information about each installation including its location identification and capacity which is potentially available for external users is accessible via internet. Structure of each installation will include an intellectual control and registration module (ICRM) for electric energy available to external users. Where necessary any consumer can request reserve energy generated in near-by located free standing istallations for external use and make a decision to approach to any of those installation.

This is a brief description of how to protect quantum states from dissipation and decoherence that arise due to uncontrolled interactions with the environment. We discuss recoherence and stabilization of quantum states based on two techniques known as "symmetrization" and "quantum error correction". We illustrate our considerations with the most popular quantum-optical model of the system-environment interaction, commonly used to describe spontaneous emission, and show the benefits of quantum error correction in this case.

Opis:
The premises of the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen argument for their claim that quantum mechanics is an incomplete theory are inconsistent when applied to three-particle systems in entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states. However, thus far there is no experimental confirmation for existence of such states. We propose a technique to obtain Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states which rests upon an observation that when a single particle from two independent entangled pairs is detected in a manner such that it is impossible to determine from which pair the single came, the remaining three particles become entangled.

Opis:
The insider trading phenomenon is based on the situation when traders use material information not publicly available to make their investment decisions. In most countries of the world, insider trading is illegal and is punishable by fine or imprisonment. Insider trading has many economic effects, which in the light of available scientific research can be both positive and negative. Insider traders can be divided into primary and secondary traders depending on whether their contact with insider information is direct or indirect. Primary insider trading has been discussed in many research studies and scientific descriptions, while secondary insider trading has not been investigated yet. This paper's aim is to fill this gap. Since the empirical data for secondary insider trading is in practice impossible to obtain, the research analysis is based on simulations of two probabilistic models. The first one concerns the use of insider information for an infinite long period of time after its acquisition, while the second one on the day of its receipt. The results of the simulation are related to three basic models of financial market functioning: the efficient market hypothesis, the fractal market hypothesis, and the coherent market hypothesis.

We show how random matrix theory can be applied to develop new algorithms to extract dynamic factors from macroeconomic time series. In particular, we consider a limit where the number of random variables N and the number of consecutive time measurements T are large but the ratio N/T is fixed. In this regime the underlying random matrices are asymptotically equivalent to Free Random Variables (FRV).Application of these methods for macroeconomic indicators for Poland economy is also presented.

Opis:
The paper describes the behavior of financial markets as functions of the variables ``price return'' and ``time'' based on the net difference between ask and bid volumes over a unit period, thereby suggesting that at least a negative non-trivial price return extreme exists for a unit period. This admittedly heuristic approach also offers a method for approximating these negative price return extremes for a specific unit period. Limitations and applications are discussed.

Opis:
The paper presents a design of aircraft integrated positioning system, composed of INS, TACAN and altimeter (ALT). This paper describes a modified, closed-loop version of INS/TACAN/ALT system and compares it to the previous design. The system is integrated according to the scheme of compensation with feed-backward INS correction and it employs a complementary extended Kalman filter. The paper includes chosen results of simulations obtained for the open-loop and closed-loop INS/TACAN/ALT systems and discusses advantages of the new design.

Opis:
The purpose of this study is to obtain the dynamic model of an electrical powered wheelchair and to estimate the state variables of right and left DC motor currents with the designed observer. First, the dynamic equations are written and then discrete-time state space model of the electrical powered wheelchair is directly obtained from this dynamic equations. Discrete time state space model of the electrical powered wheelchair is verified with the transfer function obtained using the dynamic equations. In addition, the accuracy of the estimated left and right DC motor current values are validated in the simulation results.
