Opis:
This paper describes the numerical method for the solution to the problem of propagation of dynamic waves in elastic media - the bicharacteristics method with the usage of the ideas of the splitting method. The bicharacteristics method is one of the most convenient methods for software creating. In this research paper we have worked on the solution for non-stationary problem of the homogeneous isotropic elastic body dynamics using the bicharacteristics method, based on which the "ProgWave" software was designed. With this software, we have obtained the plots of isolines of normal and tangent tensions, which are very important for the studies of non-stationary dynamic waves propagation in flat elastic bodies, in engineering practice at construction designs calculation, in problems of mechanical engineering, etc.

Computer architects are familiar with complex processor designs. A tiny performance improvement may need involvement of numerous experts and months of tedious work. But sometimes without adding lots of extra hardware or inventing complex hardware algorithms, it is still possible to accelerate a design substantially by doing minor alterations in the data path. This paper presents how an ARM compatible processor's clock rate became 1.285 times faster by changing IO pads, employing multiplexers, and improving the ALU design. The processor has been implemented in Verilog HDL and the performance improvements have been verified by simulation using the Design Compiler tool of Synopsys.

This paper addresses the pragmatic and semantic meaning of the term privacy by establishing a new method methodology of proceeding pragmatic, semantic and conceptual or combinations instances of privacy in relation to technology. The analysis of construct definition based on information published in the literature, for example Dictionaries are investigated under various conditions, for example semiotics. The new hybrid-privacy method is lexica-technical that investigates chronological definition of terms in relation to technology in distributed systems (DS); the method also looks at the impact of technological advancement on a particular innovation, polythematic or progress in pragmatic, semantic and conceptual characteristics of perception of privacy. The method's use is verified in an analysis of the unique meanings that underlie the term's usage both as a single word and in combination such as privacy law, privacy attack, privacy breach, and so forth. Literal (denotative) definitions and metaphoric (connotative) associations are examined to explain the use of privacy to refer to a physical entity and/or a mental representation, conceptual and perception. The method is also tentatively grounded in the disciplines of philology, cognition, information technology, and the philosophy of science. The lexica-technical analysis method is applied to the meanings of privacy starting with its original usage in the twenty first century and culminating with the definitions used by authors, IT developers and peoples in this paper. Finally, the paper aims at proposing a pragmatic, semantic and conceptual framework for measuring privacy. In this, technically introducing an extra button on the keyboard to indicate; whatever typed next is private to establish new link between cognition and neuron-computation systems.

Opis:
Tsallis definition of non-extensive entropy introduced in 1988 has been considered to obtain new possibilities to construct generalized thermodynamical basis for statistical physics expanding classical Boltzmann-Gibbs thermodynamics for nonequilibrium states. During the last two decades this q-generalized theory has been successfully applied to considerable number of physically interesting complex phenomena. In the paper the possible thermodynamical basis of processes will be presented in nowadays computer systems in the case of memory behaviour.

Opis:
Today, computer systems become one of the most important systems in technology and our life. They have a plenty of possible applications but most of them can be described as a transformation of (electrical) energy into useful work = calculations. This process is not so simple as it seems to be because the structure of computers hardware is very complicated and processed tasks are also very complex. Because the expectations of computer users are very high, a lot of computer resources are used only for operating systems normal work. Some existing solutions, especially in the memory system, guarantee that computer systems have acceptable performance but this parameter depends on many important system features. In this paper we will focus on one parameter, namely average disk time s/ transfer, in order to show the complex behavior of this memory system part during man-computer interaction. This is one of the most important counters in computer systems that works under Windows family operating systems and describes measurement related to hard drive based on the complete roundtrip time of any request.
