Opis:: Jesus, speaking with the Sarnacitan woman, and next with the inhabitants of Samaria, fulfills the "work" which he received from his Father to accomplish. In its essence it is a work of revelation and is done giving people "the gift of God" on which are based the gift of the Gospel (Truth) and gift ofthe Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth). Accepting these two gifts of God from Jesus changes the person and life of the Samaritan woman and the inhabitants of Samaria. Jesus fulfills the, work of revelation, on which the salvation of the world depends, not only in Judea and Galilee, but also among Samaritans, the inheritants of the old kingdom of Israel, who due to difficult histoncal experiences became the followers of a syncretic religion. In reality they did not cease to follow the patriarch Jacob and worship the only God on mount Garizim, however through orthodox believers of Judaism they were considered separated from God and His blessings heralding finał salvation due to their mingling of the revealed religion with cults brought in over the ages from Babylon. Jesus Himself challenged them to hecorne followers of the authentic, new religion - "in the Spirit and in Truth."The author of the fourth Gospel teaches that Jesus "had to" go through Samaria, because in the saving plan of God it was to be that He first meet with the Samaritan woman, and next with the town's inhabitants. They are also called by God to be able to discover in Jesus the "Savior of the world." God, who sent Jesus into the world, is not only God of Israel, although ,,salvation has its beginning fromthe Jews." God, the Father of Jesus, is also Father of all peoples, beginning with orthodox Israel upholding forages faith in Him as the Only God. Turning to all the nations of the earth with His gifts, God, the Father ofJesus, begins with those who not only geographically but prlmarily through salvation history are closest to Israel - from the Samaritans.

Opis:: The dialogue between Jesus and the woman of Samaria, which is related in detail by the author of the fourth gospel, focuses on the sign of Jacob’s well and the living water in its first part (4:7b–15). The climax of this section combines the well, the gift of God and the identity of Jesus. By way of allusion, Jesus leads the woman to the recognition of His person’s mystery. If readers wish to comprehend the meaning of this conduct, they cannot limit themselves only to the biblical story of the patriarch Jacob. They must consider the Targum traditions. Only thus is it possible to understand how a woman of Samaria could recognize the mystery of Jesus, a Jew. Setting the story in the cultural context sheds light on the author’s intentions behind the inclusion of the narrative of 4:1–42 in Corpus Johanneum. This is important in relation to the land of Samaria which was then inhabited by people who varied in terms of ethnicity and religion. The woman whom Jesus met at Jacob’s well is described in such a way as to represent all Samaritans: descendants of proto-Samaritans and immigrant heathens. All of them were invited to draw from the source of salvation opened up by Jesus Christ.

Opis:: This paper provides a critical edition and philological analysis of Isa 42:1–44:5, which were worked out on the basis of the Coptic manuscript sa 52.2 and other available manuscripts of the Sahidic dialect. The first part presents general information on the fragment of codex sa 52 (M 568) that includes the discussed text. The next part gives a list and brief characteristics of the other manuscripts containing at least some verses of Isa 42:1–44:5. The focal section of the paper is a presentation of the Sahidic text and its translation into English. The differences between the Sahidic text and the Septuagint, on which the Coptic translation is based, have been presented in tables. They include additions and omissions in the Coptic translation, lexical changes and semantic differences. Finally, the paper examines difficult philological questions observed in the Coptic text. Of special attention are the verses of Isa 42:1–44:5, which occur only in manuscript sa 52.2, and so far have not been published.

Opis:: Artykuł przedstawia zagadnienie nowego przestępstwa kanonicznego z art. 42 ust. 2–4 dekretu ogólnego KEP z 13 marca 2018 roku w sprawie ochrony osób fizycznych w związku z przetwarzaniem danych osobowych w Kościele katolickim. Autor analizuje problem na tle kan. 1389 § 1–2 CIC/83 oraz kan. 1464 § 1–2 CCEO, a także analogicznego dekretu włoskiego z 2018 roku. Wskazuje na wiele błędów komentowanej regulacji. De lege ferenda postuluje zmianę komentowanych przepisów, proponując zwłaszcza podkreślenie odpowiedzialności dyscyplinarnej, a dopiero potem karnej.
The article presents the issue of a new canonical delict under Article 42 section 2–4 of the General decree by the Polish Bishops’ Conference of 13 March 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data in the Catholic Church. The author analyzes the problem against the background of can. 1389 §§ 1–2 of the 1983 Code and can. 1464 §§ 1–2 of the Oriental Code, as well as the corresponding Italian decree of 2018. He indicates many errors in the commented regulation. De lege ferenda, he postulates a change in the provisions discussed, proposing in particular to emphasize disciplinary and then criminal liability.

Opis:: Sir 43:1-12 constitutes the first section of the major part of the hymn celebrating the Creator (42:15 – 43:33). It is a poetic commentary on the fourth day of creation as depicted in the Book of Genesis (Gen 1:14-19). In his depiction of the firmament, sun, moon, stars and rainbow, Sirach emphasizes their beauty in a manner unparalleled in the whole Bible. This does not serve cosmological aims (the sage’s motive is not the transmission of knowledge about the structure and functioning of the cosmos – celestial bodies) but has clear theological precepts and message. The pericope’s aim is to present and glorify God as the Creator. The firmament, celestial bodies and rainbow are tools through which the sage conveys knowledge of God’s might, greatness, wisdom and beauty. All of these entities derive from God (cf. 43:33) and lead to him. Sir 43:1-12 has a clear polemical character, visible in questioning the beliefs of other cultures and religions – which posited celestial bodies as deities or realities that could exert substantial influence on human beings (astrology) – or of some Jewish groups which did not use lunar calendar.
