    Opis:
    The article opposes the main thesis of W. Pikor who argues against the existence and crucial importance of the Israelite Diaspora in Assyria and against viewing it as an important factor seriously influencing the message of the prophet Ezekiel and his book. In the first part of the article its author scrutinizes the Ezechielian texts questioned by W. Pikor as direct or indirect arguments for the existence of the Assyrian Diaspora. In the second part the possible existence of the Assyrian Diaspora is examined, taking that the Book of Ezekiel bears witness to the Babylonian Diaspora of the Judean exiles, who in the first decades of the sixth century B.C. met the descendants of the Israelites exiled to Assyria at the end of the eight century B.C. The message of Ezekiel, as it may be known from his book, answers the questions and challenges which resulted from an unprecedented meeting of two different, but at the same time cognate groups, namely the Israelites and Judeans, preparing thus the ground for the idea of the renewed “new Israel”.

    Opis:
    Problematyka podjęta w artykule dotyczy zagadnienia założenia Kościoła. Najnowsze badania egzegetyczne i teologiczne potwierdzają, że jest ono wieloaspektowe i wielowymiarowe. Współcześnie nie mówi się już o jednym akcie fundacji Kościoła, lecz o szeregu wydarzeń eklezjotwórczych. Zostały one opisane i wyróżnione przez teologów, jak również w dokumentach Urzędu Nauczycielskiego Kościoła. Założycielem Kościoła jest Jezus Chrystus. Chrystus i Kościół są nierozłączni. Nie ma Eklezji bez Jezusa. Całe Jego życie, słowa i czyny, posiadają wyraźny charakter eklezjotwórczy. Podobnie, nie znamy Jezusa bez Kościoła, bez wspólnoty którą zebrał wokół siebie i w której się wciąż udziela. W procesie eklezjogenezy wyróżniono wydarzenie ustanowienia przez Jezusa Dwunastu. Zostają oni powołani z większej grupy uczniów, aby być z Mistrzem, naśladować styl Jego życia i kontynuować Jego posłannictwo. Reprezentują oni dwanaście pokoleń Izraela i stają się znakiem ludu Bożego czasów ostatecznych. W dziele „stworzenia” Dwunastu rozpoczyna się realizacja zamysłu „stworzenia” Izraela czasów ostatecznych, czyli początek królestwa Bożego już tu na ziemi. Dwunastu, jako zalążek Kościoła, stają się pierwszymi głosicielami królowania Boga, czyli dobrej nowiny o zbawieniu. Czynią to z polecenia i z mocą Jezusa, a także w Jego zastępstwie. Ustanowienie przez Jezusa Dwunastu było działaniem instytucjonalnym. Jako posłani do całego Izraela, stali się nosicielami urzędu, który na zasadzie sukcesji będzie następnie kontynuowany w Kościele. Dwunastu tworzą podstawową strukturę Kościoła, należą do jego konstytutywnych elementów.
    The subject matter of the article is the foundation of the Church. The latest exegetical and theological research proves that it was multi-faceted and multidimensional. Presently, one no longer refers to a single act of foundation but rather a number of such events. They have been described and outlined by theologians as well as the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. The founder of the Church is Jesus Christ. Christ and the Church are inseparable.There is no Ecclesia without Christ. His whole life, words and deeds display a distinctive Church-creating trait. Similarly, we do not know Christ without the Church, without the community he created around himself and in which he still manifests Himself.The commissioning of the Twelve Apostles by Christ has been highlighted in the process of ecclesiogenesis. The Apostles are called from a greater number of followers in order to bewith the Master, copy His way of life and continue His mission. They represent the twelve generations of Israel and become the sign of the People of God of End Times. The „creation”of the Twelve begins the realization of the concept of the „creation” of Israel of End Times, that is the beginning of the Kingdom of God on Earth. The Twelve, as the seed of the Church,become the first preachers of the reign of God or the Good News of salvation. They do it on the orders and with the power of Christ, and also in His stead. The Commissioning of the Twelve by Jesus was an institutionalised operation. By being sent all over Israel they became the bearers of the office which would in turn be continued within the Church. The twelve form the basic structure of the Church and belong to its constitutive elements.
