There is a vast scientific literature on psychiatric pathologies but research on the sexual problems that secondarily accompany them is still lacking. Among the few issues which in this area still manage to overcome an evident generalized resistance of patients to treating the subject and which can be the purpose of further study, beyond the sexual dysfunctions caused by drugs and the greater risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) we have focused in our bibliographical research on problematic sexual behaviors (PSBs). In particular, we have examined PSBs that complicate axis 2 disorders, usually the field of dynamic psychotherapy, while with reference to axis 1 only those present in bipolar disorder, because of the fact that this last, in its “ultra-rapid” cycles, is located by some authors in the symptom spectrum of borderline personality disorders. Lastly, our in-depth analysis, with the exclusion of paraphilic disorders already nosologically well classified in the DSM-5 with code F65, focused on the still poorly defined legal implications of PSBs secondary to personality disorders (PDs), with the purpose of contributing to a greater consideration of the argument in favor of adequate legal protection of patients and health professionals involved in this particular aspect of psycho-behavioral pathologies.

The “right to truth” relates to the obligation of the state to provide information about the circumstances surrounding serious violations of human rights. Despite its increasing recognition, the concept raises questions as to its scope and implementation as well as its existence as a free-standing right. Similarly, “memory laws” relate to the way states deal with their past. However, there are certain „memory laws” that, while officially serving as a guarantee for accessing historical truth, lead to its deformation. As a result, an “alternative” truth, based on the will of the legislators, is being imposed. In this article, the authors elaborate on the general nature of the new legal phenomenon of the „right to truth”, as a tool of transitional justice, in particular in the context of both providing and abusing historical truth by the legislators, through the instrument of “memory laws”.

The article is an attempt to analyse the rhetorical ways of constructing the scientific qualities of three publications in the field of marketing communication: Scientific Advertising from 1923 (author: Claude C. Hopkins), 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing from 1994 (authors: Al Ries and Jack Trout), and How Brands Grow from 2010 (author: Byron Sharp). Scientific qualities of the general approach and specific findings are built primarily on the basis of the concept of marketing laws: exact, universal and unchanging principles/patterns (as reconstructed in the chapter What are the laws of marketing?), derived from a wide range of data and appropriate methodological procedures (What should marketing be based on?), ensuring business effectiveness for market entities (What are the effects of relying on the laws of marketing?). Authors define their perspective in opposition to the lack of empirical grounding of marketing principles and false premises they are derived from (What shouldn’t marketing be?). The approaches presenting marketing as a science are thus opposed to the alternative approaches, which are describing marketing (and in particular: advertising and the process of its creation) as an art.

Opis:
The Church and the Catholic community during the Great Novena (1956–1966) contested the liberal abortion laws introduced by the Communists, arguing that it led to the depopulation of Poland. Formed of pronatalist attitudes based on the experiences of the previous epoch: Catholic parish counseling was developed, spouses were trained on natural family planning methods. Poles were integrated around the Millenium program proclamation of Card. Wyszyński, in which conscience of women through prayer, pilgrimage and preaching. Particular attention has been paid to single mothers and to large families, offering them social and organizational assistance in their parenting. The program of reception of church teaching in the field of marriage and the family was transferred to the forum of the council debate, actively developing the content of the document “Humanae vitae”. In this regard, the effect of the Church and the Catholic community was to strengthen the image of Poland as a country in which it struggled in defense of life and effectively countered the government’s reproductive policy.

Opis:
The legislation of crimes against sexual integrity was initially aimed at safeguarding specific interests such as the honour of the father, the family, virginity, and the social security of women. Accordingly, the extent of rape victims was for a long time limited only to women (e.g. under Article 100 of the Criminal Code of the Socialist Republic of Slovenia from 1977, the execution of rape was only possible as immission penis in vaginam). In modern society, legislators seek to protect the self-determination of the individual, sexual and physical integrity, and sexual autonomy. This reversal demonstrates that modern criminal law revolves around the essential question of whether sexual intercourse is engaged in through free choice, that is, autonomously. Domestic legislators have been put under the pressure of media campaigns and controversial case law to modernise criminal law accordingly. In the spirit of the reforms, the Republic of Slovenia in 2021 adopted the amendments of Rape and Sexual Assault in the Criminal Code (KZ-1H) consistent with the affirmative consent model (“yes means yes”).

We study the decay in time of the spatial $L^p$-norm (1 ≤ p ≤ ∞) of solutions to parabolic conservation laws with dispersive and dissipative terms added uₜ - uₓₓₜ - νuₓₓ + buₓ = f(u)ₓ or uₜ + uₓₓₓ - νuₓₓ + buₓ = f(u)ₓ, and we show that under general assumptions about the nonlinearity, solutions of the nonlinear equations have the same long time behavior as their linearizations at the zero solution.

Opis:
Social media are used on a daily basis by public administration agencies in interactions with the public. The benefits of this form of contact have also been recognized by the Police, which maintains fan pages on the most popular social media sites. However, to date there has been no deeper reflection neither about the legal grounds for public authorities’ social media presence, nor about principles which they should obey while running their social media profiles. Using the Police as an example, this article discusses the legal basis for maintaining profiles of public administration agencies in social media. Authors analyze the issue within the framework of existing law and the views of scholars and commentators, confronting them with the legal basis provided by the Police departments. The article presents de lege ferenda conclusions regarding the so-called soft law.

Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja podstawowych źródeł słabości ekonomii jako dyscypliny nauki w skutecznej diagnozie oraz przewidywaniu przyszłego przebiegu zdarzeń ekonomicznych i ich konsekwencji. Inaczej ujmując – przyczyn tytułowej niemocy ekonomistów, a także typowej dla tej dyscypliny mnogości opinii, stanowisk, wreszcie teorii, występujących paralelnie, w tym samym czasie w odniesieniu do tych samych okresów oraz zdarzeń gospodarczych i rynkowych. Główna teza artykułu przyjmuje, iż podstawową przyczyną niemożności ekonomistów do zgodnego zdiagnozowania przeszłych zdarzeń ekonomicznych oraz trafnego opowiedzenia się co do przyszłego ich przebiegu jest sama natura zjawisk i procesów gospodarczych, implikująca wieloznaczność i nieostrość głoszonych poglądów, zaś równoległa wielość poglądów to prosta konsekwencja charakteru ekonomii jako ze swej istoty dyscypliny heterogenicznej, co wymaga współpracy środowiska i akceptacji różnych poglądów, a nie dzielenia ich na te słuszne i te negowane, czyli niezasługujące na uznanie. W związku z tak nakreślonym celem badawczym oraz sformułowaną tezą główną prowadzone analizy mają charakter badań niereaktywnych, w ramach których wykorzystano takie metody, jak analiza treści (content analysis) oraz badania historyczno-porównawcze (historical-comparative research).
The aim of the article is to identify the basic sources ofweakness in economics as a scientific discipline in the effective diagnosisand prediction of the future course of economic events andtheir consequences. In other words, the causes of the titular infirmityof economists, as well as the multitude of opinions, positions, and finallytheories typical of this discipline, occurring in parallel, at thesame time, in relation to the same periods and economic and marketevents. The main thesis of the article assumes that the basic reason forthe inability of economists to unanimously diagnose past economicevents and accurately decide on their future course is the very natureof economic phenomena and processes, implying the ambiguity andvagueness of the views expressed, while the parallel multiplicity of viewsis a simple consequence of the nature of economics. as an inherentlyheterogeneous discipline, which requires the cooperation of the communityand the acceptance of different views, and not dividing theminto the right ones and the negated ones, i.e. those that do not deserverecognition. In connection with the research objective outlined in thisway and the main thesis formulated, the conducted analyzes are ofa non-reactive nature, in which methods such as content analysis andhistorical-comparative research were used.

Moses Firkowicz (1846–1918) descended from the famous Karaite family of Abraham Firkowicz. His ineage granted him access to many Karaite manuscripts and a natural disposition towards araite literature eventually leading to his appointment as the first director of the first Karaite National Library (Karai Bitikligi). In 1915 he published The Karaite Catechism in Brief (Rus. Караимский катихизис вкратце), a text written in the form of questions and answers which presumably had been used as a resource guide for Karaite life in the Melitopol community. It presents differences found between Karaites and Rabbanite Jews, discusses issues related to the concepts of prayer, worship, calendar of holidays and provides unique insight on Karaite rites of death. This paper will analyze The Karaite Catechism in Brief by Moses Firkowicz in the light of the theoretical laws of ’Adderet ’Eliyyahu by Elijah Bashyatchi and Royal Attire by Mordecai ben Nisan, as well as through cases in the journal The Karaite Life (Rus. Караимская жизнь) and in the archives of the Karaite Spiritual Consistory.

Opis:
Physical sense and practical significance of major measurements of tribological wear are analysed here. Definitions and methods of assessing these measurements are proposed on the basis of the laws of energy and mass conservation. Contributions of energy and displacement of particular friction forces corresponding to each element of a friction couple are addressed. Energy expenditure that causes wear is introduced into the definition of wear resistance. Planning and thermodynamic analysis of a tribological experiment and the application of thermodynamic concepts and quantities to the description and the interpretation of results are recommended. The author believes application of wear measures that have an unequivocal physical interpretation will limit problems with the incomparability and the irreproducibility of tribological results and issues with transferring them to real objects.
W niniejszej pracy zanalizowano senes fizyczny i praktyczne znaczenie ważniejszych miar zużycia tribologicznego. Zaproponowano definicje i sposoby oceny tych miar w oparciu o zasady zachowania energii i masy. Uwzględniono w nich udział energii i przemieszczenia poszczególnych sił tarcia, które przypadają na każdy z elementów pary ciernej. Do definicji odporności na zużycie wprowadzono nakład energii, który je spowodował. Zalecono zaplanowanie eksperymentu tribologicznego z jego analizą termodynamiczną oraz wykorzystanie pojęć i wielkości termodynamicznych do opisu i interpretacji uzyskanych wyników. Zdaniem autora stosowanie miar zużycia mających jednoznaczną interpretację fizyczną ograniczy problemy nieporównywalności i nie odtwarzalności wyników badań tribologicznych oraz trudności ich przenoszenia na obiekty rzeczywiste.

This paper presents a proposal for the formulation of a mathematical model of a fire resistance testing process for steel beams subject to bending, carried out experimentally in a test furnace. The model for the formulation was created with a balance method by describing with the fundamental laws of thermomechanics the phenomena occurring during the experiment analysed for the formulation. The viscoplastic behave our of steel at high temperatures was described with constitutive relationships proposed by Perzyna (which form the so-called “overload model”). The general mathematical model of the experiment analysed, obtained in the form of a system of differential equations, is discussed. The authors considered the impact of known physical properties of the test material and the impact of the results of the observations made during the research on the behaviour of individual terms of the model’s equations. Based on these considerations, simplifications were proposed which optimized the mathematical description and facilitated its adaptation to a special case. As a result of the investigation, a system of equation was obtained which described the processes present during the fire resistance test. It is postulated here to accept the system of equations as the mathematical model.
W artykule przedstawiono propozycję sformułowania modelu matematycznego procesu badania nośności ogniowej stalowych belek zginanych, przeprowadzanego w piecu ogniowym. W celu opracowania tego modelu posłużono się metodą bilansową, opisując zjawiska zachodzące w trakcie analizowanego eksperymentu za pomocą podstawowych praw termomechaniki. Zachowanie lepkoplastyczne stali w wysokich temperaturach zmiennych w czasie opisano, używając związków konstytutywnych zaproponowanych przez Perzynę (tzw. model „przeciążeniowy”). Uzyskany w postaci układu równań różniczkowych ogólny model matematyczny analizowanego eksperymentu poddano dyskusji. Rozważono wpływ znanych właściwości fizycznych materiału i wyników obserwacji dokonanych w czasie badań na zachowania poszczególnych składników równań modelu. W efekcie zaproponowano uproszczenia umożliwiające zoptymalizowanie opisu matematycznego i jego dostosowanie do rozważanego przypadku szczególnego. Jako rezultat przeprowadzonych dociekań uzyskano układ równań opisujący procesy zachodzące w badaniu ogniowym, który postuluje się przyjąć jako jego model matematyczny.

This article presents tools used in the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) which are useful when assessing the evolution direction of technical systems. The following matters are discussed: the S-shaped curve, laws (trends and lines) of the evolution of technical systems, multi-screen diagrams, as well as analysis of evolutionary potential. Inventive laws formulated by Gienrich Altshuller as well as laws previously formulated by a Polish writer and promoter of knowledge, Aleksander Głowacki, writing under the pen name Bolesław Prus, have been presented. Finally the innovation roadmaps have been shown. The use of individual tools has been supported by practical examples taken from research performed by the authors, and the usefulness of individual methods was evaluated. All methods have been compared and evaluated.

The Theory of Relativity from Einstein starts from some everyday system of Cartesian space- coordinates plus a linear time-parameter, read from a good old grand-father’s clock. The theory then contemplates a group of certain homogeneous, linear transformations with constant coefficients, transformations which involve all four coordinates and which there is reason to interpret as going over the another inertial systems, that moves with constant translational velocity with respect to the first. In fact the very backbone of the theory is that all laws of nature shall be the same for every frame reached in this way, including the original one from which we started, there should be no difference or distinction in principle between all these inertial frames, any one of which can be reached from any other one by a transformation of that group a so called Lorentz-transformation. In short, all laws of nature are assumed to be invariant to Lorentz-transformation.

Opis:
The article shows a new approach – how to reach higher efficiency in the production from knowledge management via managing social capital through measurement, motivation and stimulation. The test in a real company on the Toyota system implementation is described. The active involvement of people is an important part of the Toyota system success. This is obvious in Japan but creates a big problem in Europe. These problems were tested in order to answer the following questions: 1. Is it possible to measure the social system level before the application of the system?, 2. Is it possible to evaluate the necessary level of the social system for successful implementation in advance?, 3. Is it possible to cultivate the social system to the desired level? We try to answer all of these questions adopting the Kopčaj Spiral Management approach. The practical results on an existing company are presented together with managerial recommendations.

Ponieważ oczekuje się, że pracownicze programy emerytalne będą odgrywały większą rolę w zapewnianiu adekwatnych dochodów na emeryturze, należy zagwarantować, by zasady funkcjonowania tych programów nie stanowiły przeszkody dla swobodnego przemieszczania się pracowników pomiędzy państwami członkowskimi Unii Europejskiej. Omawiana dyrektywa stanowi nową regulację UE w zakresie pracowniczych programów emerytalnych. Ma ona na celu ułatwienie korzystania z prawa do swobodnego przemieszczania się pracowników na terytorium UE poprzez ograniczenie przeszkód, które wynikają z niektórych zasad dotyczących dodatkowych programów emerytalnych związanych ze stosunkiem pracy. Biorąc pod uwagę okoliczności przyjęcia dyrektywy, trudno obecnie stwierdzić, czy i kiedy w ujętej w niej materii zajdą dalsze zmiany, a także w jakim kierunku miałyby one nastąpić.
Since it is expected, that occupational pension schemes will play a greater role in ensuring adequate income in retirement, it ought to be ensured, that the principles of operation of these programmes do not constitute an obstacle to the free movement of workers between Member States of the European Union. The directive in question therefore constitutes new EU regulations aimed at facilitating the exercise of the right of workers to freedom of movement between Member States by reducing the obstacles created by certain rules concerning supplementary pension schemes linked to an employment relationship. Taking into account the circumstances of the adoption of the directive, it is hard to predict if and when further changes in the matter in question will occur, as well as the direction, in which they would then be heading.
