- The article includes an overview of works devoted to the study of multidimensional name-vocabulary, as well as the analysis of regional informal anthroponyms. The author has developed and proved the multidimensional research method for investigating the residents’ names forms who live in certain regions, the concept of “informal anthroponym-spectrum” has been introduced, the formation of this concept has been based on the involvement of intra- and extralinguistic data. The features of denotative and signifying aspect of the informal names forms have been analyzed, the schematic representation of the of cognitive space and social realities effects on the actualization of informal personal names in the regional communication and the author’s speech have been introduced. The advantages of implementing a multidimensional approach to the study of regional informal anthroponyms of Slavic languages, which possess a wide morphogenetic potential have been shown.
