    It might be concluded from the obtained results that no significant serological differences exist between the T. spirails antigens prepared from larvae deriving from muscles of rabbits, rats or pigs, when the methods applied in this study were used. All the three antigens showed the simillar ability of the complement fixation when tested against the rabbit immune sera as well as against those of persons suffering from trichinellosis. The antigens behaved also in the simillar way towards sera of normal persons and towards Ascaris, Echinococcus and Cysticercus immune sera. The results of present experiments do not confirm Gaase's opinion, who suggested that antigen prepared from. T. spiralis larvae isolated from muscles of swine are superior to these obtained from muscles of rats (2). Studies on larger material using other serological methods should be needed to drow out some more detailed conclusions.

    Opis:
    The paper gives a brief review of the results of EPR temperature studies of RbIn(MoO4)2 crystal. A sequence of several structural phase transitions has been found in this crystal in the temperature region 84–163 K. The transition at T1 = 163 K leads to an incommensurate triply modulated state, whereas ferroelastic phases start below T2 = 143 K. All the low temperature phases in the temperature region 84–143 K are examples of simultaneously ferroelastic and incommensurate ones. The transition observed at T5 = 84 K seems to suppress the ferroelastic properties of the crystal.

    A homogenate prepared from dried T. spiralis larvae was fractionated by means of paper electrophoresis on a starch block in borate buffer at pH of 8.6. The immunologie activity of fractions was examined by diffusion and gel inmmunoelectrophoresis using complement fixation, ring precipitation tests, as well as determinining protein, saccharides and enzyme levels. It was found that the fractions obtained possess the properties of protein antigens. Among 26 fractions, those from 9 to 14 proved to be serologically active. The antigens were found to contain acide phosphatase and hvaluronidases.
