Opis:
We prove existence of weak solutions to nonlinear parabolic systems with p-Laplacians terms in the principal part. Next, in the case of diagonal systems an $L_∞$-estimate for weak solutions is shown under additional restrictive growth conditions. Finally, $L_∞$-estimates for weakly nondiagonal systems (where nondiagonal elements are absorbed by diagonal ones) are proved. The $L_∞$-estimates are obtained by the Di Benedetto methods.

Existence of weak solutions and an $L_∞$-estimate are shown for nonlinear nondegenerate parabolic systems with linear growth conditions with respect to the gradient. The $L_∞$-estimate is proved for equations with coefficients continuous with respect to x and t in the general main part, and for diagonal systems with coefficients satisfying the Carathéodory condition.

For a class of semi-abstract evolution equations for sections on vector bundles on a three-dimensional compact manifold we prove that for initial values with certain symmetries strong solutions exist for all times. In case these solutions become small after some time, strong solutions exist also for small perturbations of these initial values. Many systems from fluid mechanics are included in this class.

W artykule przedstawiono krótką historię działalności byłej już Katedry Górnictwa Odkrywkowego, ważniejsze etapy rozwoju, w okresie od jej powstania do roku 2019 – czyli roku obchodów Jubileuszu 100-lecia Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej im St. Staszica w Krakowie. Rok ten jest dla Katedry Górnictwa Odkrywkowego rokiem historycznym. W wyniku połączenia dwóch katedr – Katedry Górnictwa Odkrywkowego oraz Katedry Górnictwa Podziemnego powstała nowa Katedra Inżynierii Górniczej i Bezpieczeństwa Pracy. Tym samym mająca 55 lat KGO przeszła do historii. Nowa Katedra wraz z jej kadrą naukowo- techniczną będzie kontynuować działalność dydaktyczno-naukową swojej odkrywkowej macierzystej jednostki, mierząc się z nowymi wyzwaniami jakie staną przed polskim górnictwem odkrywkowym w najbliższej, trudnej dla europejskiego górnictwa przyszłości.
This article presents a brief history of the activities of the former Department of Surface Mining, major development stages, from its beginning to 2019 - the year of the 100th anniversary of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. This year is a historic year for the Department of Surface Mining. As a result of the merger of two departments - the Department of Surface Mining and the Department of Underground Mining, a new Department of Mining Engineering and Health Safety was created. Thus, the 55-year-old department has gone down in history. The new Department, together with its scientific and technical staff, will continue the educational and scientific activities of its former surface department. It will be facing new challenges that Polish surface mining industry will meet shortly.

The article is devoted to exchange rates of foreign currencies used in VAT for the determination of tax base of taxable activities and due tax, according to the regulations binding in 2012 and amendments to the act planned for 2013. The study concentrates on the analysis of the opinions of the Ministry of Finance expressed in individual tax interpretations concerning exchange rates of foreign currencies in Intra-community acquisition of goods and delivery of goods or services, where goods or services are acquired by domestic taxpayers, in the context of theses resulting from the judicature of administrative courts and the doctrine. The attention has also been paid to the incompatibility of some regulations of the act on VAT with regulations of Directive 2006/112/EC, including the ones concerning exchange rates of foreign currencies.

Opis:
The local existence and the uniqueness of solutions for equations describing the motion of viscous compressible heat-conducting fluids in a domain bounded by a free surface is proved. First, we prove the existence of solutions of some auxiliary problems by the Galerkin method and by regularization techniques. Next, we use the method of successive approximations to prove the local existence for the main problem.

Opis:
Existence and uniqueness of local solutions for the initial-boundary value problem for the equations of an ideal relativistic fluid are proved. Both barotropic and nonbarotropic motions are considered. Existence for the linearized problem is shown by transforming the equations to a symmetric system and showing the existence of weak solutions; next, the appropriate regularity is obtained by applying Friedrich's mollifiers technique. Finally, existence for the nonlinear problem is proved by the method of successive approximations.
