    The beginning of the 21st century was in Poland a period of intense investment activity in the development of infrastructure for higher education. University campuses have the potential to become an excellent model of architecture and urban planning with ideal symbiosis of learning and working, residence and recreation. Ecology issues must have value of moral imperative and are an expression of social responsibility for politicians, teachers and the media, as opinion-forming centres. By virtue of this mission, universities should therefore be interested in promoting sustainable architecture to minimize adverse effects on the environment and to shape ecological society. But many campuses of polish universities do not develop perfectly. Developed on the city suburbs they do not support the idea of compact city and the process of re-urbanization. Often there is a lack of application of the principles of sustainable development. We see ad hoc method of developing campuses, tendency to suburbanization, waste of space and public funds, too little concern for the environment and not enough renewable energy. Institution of higher education must develop in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. This is the direction specified, as a priority, in the European economy and it’s profitablity to private companies. Universities as institutions that use public funds for its functioning and development, are obliged to the rational management, with attention to Social Affairs and future generations.

    The article presents the methodology for selecting the optimal variant of the road on a regional level. The suggested methodology is based on a combination of criteria value normalization method and the variant assessment method. Based on survey studies conducted using the Delphi method, a starting list of criteria was designed and the significance of the individual groups of main criteria and sub-criteria was determined. The final assessments of the analysed variants are calculated based on the aggregation of the marks obtained for the normalization and assessment methods. The methodology can be divided into six stages: determining the variants for analysis, selecting the variant assessment criteria, creating the assessment matrix, normalizing criteria value, using the variant assessment method, variant ranking. The methodology was tested on the examples of planning a bypass of Mazury and Księżyno towns as a part of Regional Road 678 in Poland.

    The article presents the criteria taken into account in determining the alignment of regional roads, with particular reference to bypasses of towns located along regional roads. To determine the criteria for the evaluation of variants and their hierarchy, the surveys were conducted using the Delphi method in two rounds, with electronic surveys (the CAWI method). Based on survey studies, an entry list of criteria was set up as a proposal for determining the alignment of regional roads.

    Analiza wielokryterialna to metoda wspomagania procesu decyzyjnego w sytuacji gdy analizowanych jest wiele wariantów przebiegu tras drogowych na etapie przygotowywania dokumentacji projektowych autostrad, dróg ekspresowych czy obwodnic miejscowości. Polega ona na odpowiednim doborze kryteriów oceny oraz wag im przypisanych. Celem analizy wielokryterialnej jest wybór wariantu najkorzystniejszego najczęściej z punktu widzenia kryteriów o charakterze transportowym, środowiskowym, ekonomicznym i społecznym. Kryteria przyjęte do analizy wielokryterialnej mogą być wyrażone za pomocą parametrów mierzalnych bądź niemierzalnych. Aby możliwe było porównanie i ocena wariantów wszystkim kryteriom należy nadać wartości liczbowe niemianowane. Proces zastąpienia wartości mianowanej na niemianowaną nazywa się normalizacją. Normalizacja może przebiegać w oparciu o maksymalizację zmiennych (stymulanty) lub minimalizację zmiennych (destymulanty). W analizach prezentowanych w artykule zbadano wpływ przyjętej metody normalizacji kryteriów oraz zastosowanych wag poszczególnych kryteriów na wybór wariantu przebiegu trasy drogowej.
    Multicriteria analysis is a method for supporting the decision process in a situation where there are many variants of road alignments analyzed during the preparation of project documentation of motorways, expressways and bypasses. It is based on an appropriate choice of assessment criteria and weights assigned to them. The aim of the multicriteria analysis is choose the most beneficial variant for road alignment from the point of view of transport, environmental, economic and social criteria. The criteria adopted for the multicriteria analysis can be expressed by using measurable or immeasurable parameters. In order to be able to compare and assess the variants, dimensionless quantities must be assigned to the all criteria. The process of replacing a dimension quantity with a dimensionless one is called normalization. Normalization may be performed on the basis of maximizing the variables (stimulants) or to minimize the variables (destimulants). The analyses presented in the article examine the impact of the adopted method of criteria normalization and the weights of the criteria used for the selection of a road variant.

    Analiza wielokryterialna to metoda wspomagania procesu decyzyjnego w sytuacji gdy analizowanych jest wiele wariantów przebiegu tras drogowych. W artykule przedstawiono dwa przykłady wyboru najkorzystniejszego wariantu obejścia miejscowości, położonych w ciągu dróg wojewódzkich. Analizę przeprowadzono w oparciu o normalizację Van Delfta i Nijkampa, Weitendorfa, Peldschusa oraz przyjęte wagi rozpatrywanych kryteriów. Rozważane kryteria opisujące analizowane warianty wyrażone są w różnych jednostkach. Zastosowanie normalizacji ma na celu uzyskanie porównywalności kryteriów.
    The multicriteria analysis is a method of supporting the decision process in a situation where there are many road alignment variants analyzed. The paper presents two examples of choosing the most beneficial variant for bypassing a town, located in the course of regional roads. The analysis was conducted basing on normalization methods by Van Delft and Nijkamp, Weitendorf, Peldschus and the weight of the considered criteria. The considered criteria describing the analyzed variants are usually expressed in different units. The use of normalization is necessary to achieve the comparability of the criteria.

    The Arabidopsis CDKG;2 gene encodes a putative cyclin-dependent Ser/Thr protein kinase of unknown biological function. This gene shows structural similarity to animal and human cyclin-dependent (PITSLRE) kinases. This study used the homozygous knockout cdkg;2 mutant based on T-DNA insertional line SALK_090262 to study the effect of mutation of the CDKG;2 gene on explant response and in vitro plant regeneration. For callus induction and proliferation, hypocotyls and cotyledons of 3-day-old seedlings of cdkg;2 and A. thaliana ecotype Col-0 were cultured on solid MS medium supplemented with 2,4-D (2 mg l-1). Organogenesis was induced after callus transfer on MS + TDZ (0.5 mg l-1). The initiation time of callus and shoot induction differed between the mutant and control cultures. Shoot regeneration after callus transfer on MS + TDZ was delayed in cdkg;2 (31 days versus 7 days in Col- 0). Shoots formed on callus derived from Col-0 hypocotyls but not on cotyledon-derived callus; in cdkg;2, shoots developed on both callus types. Mutant shoots did not form roots, regenerants were dwarfed, and inflorescences had small bud-like flowers with a reduced corolla and generative organs. Abnormalities observed during cdkg;2 organogenesis suggest a role of CDKG;2 as a regulator of adventitious root initiation.
