Opis:
Entropy properties of the superposed photon-subtracted two-mode coherent states are quite different from that of the single state. Tsallis entropies of the superposed states have extreme values, while that of the single state change monotonously. Further, it is found that the positions of the maxima of the entropies are independent of the entropic index. Around the maxima of the entropies, the entanglement transfer from the superposed states to two initially separable qubits is nearly complete.

Opis:
With the development of microprocessors, actuators and structural micro-components, new concepts of micro-electro-mechanical systems/machines are constantly being introduced. One of the consequences of this tendency is seeking for best techniques to connect metal micro-components. Because of tools simplicity, no additional fastening parts and the undisturbed structure of the material, clinching appears to be a promising method for joining in micro-scale. A procedure for the analysis of micro-clinching process is proposed in the paper, and unique, support flexible tooling system designed. This system allows to easily change key parameters of the process. With the use of flexible micro-tooling, a successful micro-clinching of silver sheets of thickness 0.18 mm has been conducted. An effective numerical method - Rapid Numerical Strength Test - for modelling the process of tearing the joints has been presented. Compliance of key phenomena recognized in modelling with experimental results was obtained.
Przedstawiono skuteczną metodę numeryczną - Rapid Numerical Strength Test - do modelowania procesu rozrywania złączy. Uzyskano zgodność kluczowych zjawisk rozpoznanych w modelowaniu z wynikami eksperymentalnymi.

Opis:
The effect of ultrasonic vibration on the microstructure, elimination of casting defects and distribution of alloyed elements at macro-scale during solidification of 35CrMo steel has been investigated. Results show that ultrasonic treatment has a significant effect on the grain refinement, especially the fragmentation of the secondary dendritic arms of the studied steel. Density of the casting defects decreases and the alloyed elements are seen more even distribution at macro-scale with the introduction of ultrasonic vibration. Meanwhile, the ultrasonic vibration works more efficiently in the longitudinal direction than in the radial, and its efficiency declines with the distance from the radiator increasing.

Opis:
Aim/purpose – Not only have micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) been regarded as a driving force of the national economy, but they have also become important in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. In general, today’s MSMEs face problems, such as high business costs, insufficient innovation, and inadequate management capabilities, that have all forced the digital transformation of MSMEs. However, in existing studies, the impact of digital transformation on performance is controversial, and the subjects are generally listed companies. In this paper, we have decided to use micro business survey data and analyze them from a spatial perspective to explore how MSMEs’ digital transformation plays a role in influencing performance and the path of its effect. Design/methodology/approach – We use a sampling method with a dual directory-regional sampling frame to investigate MSMEs in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China and then delve into the impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance from a spatial perspective by the spatial weighted logit model. Findings – Hierarchical analysis shows that there is a large room for improvement in the Digital transformation of enterprises. The digitalization level of an enterprise has a positive impact on performance. While from a spatial perspective, the digitalization level of neighboring enterprises has a negative impact on the performance of the enterprise. Path analysis shows that the digital transformation of enterprises can increase innovation, reduce costs, and improve the performance of enterprises. Originality/value – We provide an empirical basis for vigorously promoting the digital transformation of enterprises, jointly building digital parks, and improving enterprise performance by reducing costs and improving efficiency. At the same time, it provides relevant suggestions for digital transformation for manufacturing MSMEs that are hesitant to see or are at a loss in the digital transformation and helps manufacturing MSMEs to achieve cost reduction and increase efficiency.

Opis:
The paraceratheriid Pappaceras is the earliest unequivocal rhinocerotoid genus to date, for which the osteological morphology is relatively unique compared to other perissodactyls. Due to the poor preservation condition, paleobiological aspects of Pappaceras (or forstercooperiines), such as chewing and feeding behavior, still remain unknown. Under the Extant Phylogenetic Bracket, the cranial musculature of the newly erected Pappaceras meiomenus has been reconstructed using two-dimensional illustrations, drawings and interpretations of the position and general morphology of cranial muscles for which origins and insertions on the skull are visible. In this study, eight muscles are reconstructed, described and compared to the corresponding muscles known or inferred in other perissodactyls, including the m. levator nasolabialis, the m. levator labii superior, the m. caninus, the m. zygomaticus, the m. masseter, the m. temporalis, the m. buccinator and the m. pterygoid. The reconstruction of the masticatory muscles suggests that Pappaceras meiomenus is strictly herbivorous, probably folivorous, with a primary component of vertical biting. The relatively well-developed m. pterygoid (particularly the m. pterygoideus medialis) indicates that Pappaceras meiomenus is similar to hyracodontids, having more advantages in rotary chewing than other non hyracodontid rhinocerotoids. The configuration of basicranial features shows differentiation between non-hyracodontids and hyracodontids, demonstrating that the well-developed, specialized postglenoid process and the wide glenoid fossa, along with the postcotyloid process of the mandible, serve as a strong fulcrum during the power stroke in non-hyracodontids. Based on its rostral morphology, we suggest that Pappaceras meiomenus was a general browser. The morphology of its incisors and canines further indicate the ability to feed on hard plants, using the postulated puncture-crushing and grinding function.
