The study concluded that increase in foreign direct investment (F.D.I.) is optimistic move for the future of Indian Life Insurance Sector, since this sector need huge amount of capital investment which can be done effectively only through increase in FDI and it enhance overall performance of insurance sector. Innovative insurance product and services, better use of technology, increase in employment and competition etc. are by-product of increase in F.D.I in insurance Sector. Government of India through Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (I.R.D.A.I.) and Reserve Bank of India (R.B.I.) need to keep regular check on the outflow of India currency. India is growing economy and many consider it an attractive country for investment in mainly to its fast growing and changing insurance market. Indian insurance industry is still less penetrated and has huge growth potential. Foreign direct investment (F.D.I.) plays significant role in the economic development of the country. This study is based on secondary data collected from I.R.D.A and research papers from various journals.

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana was introduced on 1st June 2015, under the promising Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana with the aim to provide financial support through cheaper term insurance to all the citizen of India with motto of “Jan-Dhan se Jan Surakhsha”. Accidental insurance is a type of general insurance under which insurance coverage is provided for fixed term (period) and amount, on the payment of the pre-decide premium. This fixed amount is only paid in case of happening of any unfortunate accident only. The study is based on secondary data collected from different websites and IRDA Journals.

Customers and employees of the SBI Life come up with a viewpoint that initiation of CSR activities can create a good brand image of the company and thus can be a contributing factor towards the profitability factor of the company. Employees have opined that the performance of CSR activities is not mostly considered as a base for selecting insurance providers. This research study aims to find out customers and employees perception towards CSR activities performed by one of the leading insurance provider SBI Life limited to Bhopal region. The primary data of the study is collected through questionnaire designed for employees and customers separately. The findings of the study suggest that there is a significant rise in the business performances and a very positive customer perception towards SBI Life through the conduction of CSR activities. With the boom of international trade and outsourcing business, their CSR conduct is the sine quo non for building a more powerful brand that customers’ perceive enthusiastically.

CSR activities refer to the initiatives an individual corporate entity undertakes as an extra effort for the welfare of the society, environment as a whole. This initiative is a kind of gratitude shown by the corporates towards the society from whom they earn wholesome profits. This study aims in finding out how significant CSR activities are in making the customers’ perception towards a company. This study also intends to seek how companies can change customers’ perception towards it s products and services by widening the scope of their CSR activities. Interview of Human Resource senior Official and 100 other employees was undertaken to complete this study. Last decade has seen a remarkable change and upgrade in the way companies look and invest in corporate social responsibilities that they owe towards the society and the nation as a whole. CSR activities are those efforts undertaken by corporates to give back to the society as a whole from which they earn and become successful. This study aims in finding out how significant CSR activities are in making the customers’ perception towards a company with the overview of customers of Reliance Life Insurance. This study also intends to seek and show how a company can change customers’ perception towards its products and services by widening the scope of their CSR activities. Interview of Human Resource senior Official and 80 other customers were undertaken to complete this study. The findings of the study suggest that there is a significant rise in the business performances and a very positive customer perception towards Reliance Life Insurance through the conduction of CSR activities. Customers being aware are assertively looking forward to deal with companies that are active in CSR actions.

The retail market in India is transforming due to flourishing of organised and online retailing. In the organized retail market in India the role of supply chain is very important for the Indian customer demands at affordable prices and a variety of product mix. It is the supply chain that ensures to the customer in all the various offerings that a company decide for its customers, be it cost, service, or the quickness in responding to ever changing tastes of the customer. Effective supply chain management has become a potential way nowadays to improve organisational performance through matching supply chain practices and competitive advantages in the competitive world. Organisations focus on better supply chain management practices to gain competitive advantage for better organisational performance. This paper focus on study the impact that manufacturers and suppliers of grocery retail that has due to growing organised retail market. The study was carried out in Indore market and 70 responses of manufacturers and suppliers were collected. Multivariate statistical techniques were used to analyze the data collected with the help of a structured questionnaire. Manufacturers and suppliers are getting benefitted and expanded their business as they have better coordination with organized retailer. Supply chain is a broader business function of retail and Manufacturers and suppliers are only covered in this paper.

The growth and transformation of retail market in India, on one side creating a better shopping experience and other side it is creating a lot of pressure on unorganised retailers. The first objective of this study is to understand the perception of small kirana shops in relation to the impact they can have and the second is find the effect on their employment with the increasing number of corporate retail chain stores in the form of organised retail stores in corresponding grocery segment. The study was carried out in the market of Indore region and responses were collected from small neighbourhood kirana shops. Multivariate statistical techniques were used to analyze the data collected with the help of a structured questionnaire The result of the study shows that small neighbourhood kirana shop owner perceived that their profit is negatively affected, their operational cost is increased to meet the higher service quality expectation of the customer but the result do not show significant negative impact on their employment due to growth of corporate retail stores. The implication of the research is that kirana shops have to implement new strategies to face the competition from retail giants and meet the customer expectations to remain profitable in the long run.

This study aims in finding out how significant corporate governance is in building a brand for a company with the overview of customers and employees of PNB MetLife. As last decade has seen a remarkable change and upgrade in the way companies look for its corporate governance processes and procedures as this involves balancing the interests of all the stakeholders- shareholders, management, customers, suppliers, financiers government and the community. This study also intends to seek and show how a company can build its brand of the products and services by having a good control over its internal and external processes and procedures for work. Interview of senior officials at PNB MetLife has been undertaken, and also the data of 80 employees were undertaken to complete this study. The findings of the study suggest that the company has prospered and has been able to deliver good performances with regards to its corporate governance. Customers and employees are being aware and are assertively looking forward to deal with companies that are following corporate governance religiously.
