Opis:
Novel zinc tetranitro-phthalocyanine (ZnTNPc) supported by multi-walled carbon nanotubes hybrid composites were facilely prepared by a method of ultrasonic impregnation and their photocatalysis behavior was studied. The as-prepared ZnTNPc-MWCNTs composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, diffuse reflectance spectra, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and the Fourier transform infrared spectra. The results showed that the ZnTNPc was not only grown on the multi-walled carbon nanotubes but also uniformly disturbed without aggregation. Compared with pure ZnTNPc and MWCNTs, ZnTNPc-MWCNTs nanocomposites presented a significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of rhodamine B under visible-light irradiation. Furthermore, a possible mechanism for the photodegradation of rhodamine B was also proposed.

Opis:
Novel CdS/BiOI heterojunction photocatalysts were successfully prepared by facile method. The as-prepared samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, the Raman spectroscopy, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra, the Fourier transform infrared spectra, and photoluminescence. It was found that CdS nanoparticles were uniformly distributed on the surface of BiOI microspheres. The photodegradation tests showed that the photocatalytic efficiency was increased at first and then decreased when further increasing CdS content in the nanocomposites. The highest activity was obtained by 3%-CdS/BiOI nanocomposites. The enhanced photocatalytic performances were attributed to the matched band potentials of CdS and BiOI, which resulted in the efficient separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. Based on the experimental results, a reasonable photocatalytic mechanism of CdS/BiOI photocatalysts was also proposed.

Opis:
The use of neural networks in control systems can be seen as a natural step in the evolution of control methodology to meet new challenges. Many attempts have been made to apply the neural networks to deal with non-linearities and uncertainties of the control systems. Research in neural network applications to control can be classified according to the major methods depending on structures of the control system, such as NN-based NON-linear System Identification, NN-based Supervised Control, NN-based Direct Control, NN-based Indirect Control, NN-based Adaptive Control, NN-based Self-learning Control, NN-based Fuzzy Control, and NN Variable Structure Control. All these control methods cannot, however, effectively guarantee system stability, i.e. none of these neural network controls, except for NN-based Variable Structure Control, is based on system stability. This also limits the application and development of the neural networks in control theory. The paper shows the effort to solve this difficulty and give a way for the design method of the stability based neural networks controller using Lyapunov second stability theorem. This kind of controller can not only guarantee system stability, but also fully compensate for the influence of system uncertainties and non-linearities.Simulation results also show the effectiveness of the controller.

Opis:
The morphology and taxonomy of two new and two poorly known ciliate species of Ancistrum, found in the mantle cavity (mainly on gills) of marine molluscs from culture beds and pools along the Chinese coast of the Yellow Sea, were investigated using living observation and silver impregnation. Ancistrum haliotis n. sp. was isolated from the abalone Haliotis discus hannai Ino, A. crassum Fenchel, 1965 from the purple clam Saxidomus purpuratus (Sowerby), A. acutum n. sp. from the surf clam Mactra veneriformis Reeve, and A. japonicum Uyemura, 1937 from both the venus clam Cyclina sinensis (Gmelin) and from Dosinia japonica (Reeve). Ancistrum haliotis differs from its most similar relative A. mytili (Quennerstedt, 1867) by the body outline (anterior portion narrower vs. wider than the posterior portion), the macronuclear shape (broadly ellipsoidal vs. reniform or sausage-like), and by having fewer somatic kineties (28–32 vs. usually more than >40). Ancistrum crassum is characterized by the naked area at the apical end of the cell, the relatively short buccal field occupying about two thirds of the body length, and the posterior-dorsal cone-shaped prolongation. Ancistrum acutum n. sp. and A. japonicum are almost identical in morphometry, but differ distinctly in the live morphology (anterior end pointed and posterior end rounded vs. anterior end narrowly rounded and posterior-dorsal end protruded) and ciliary pattern (all right-side kineties extend to posterior body end vs. all right-side kineties excluding somatic kinety 1 distinctly shortened posteriad, forming a glabrous zone). We neotypify Ancistrum japonicum and discuss the taxonomic status of the four species. Based on an evaluation of all nominal species of Ancistrum and Ancistrumina, we recognize nine valid species of Ancistrum and provide a tabular guide to their identification. Fenchelia Raabe, 1970 is regarded as a junior synonym of Ancistrum Maupas, 1883. We synonymize Ancistrumina nucellae Khan, 1970 with Ancistrum japonicum Uyemura, 1937 and Ancistrum edajimanum Oishi, 1978 with A. crassum Fenchel, 1965.

When cameras are used in aerial photography, satellite imaging or other scenes, the motion of the observational target causes image blur. The corresponding motion compensation systems often present some response delay. Thus, we introduce effective and fast motion prediction for the target to achieve steady real-time motion compensation. We first analyze the target motion states to propose a fast and robust prediction method based on the least square support vector machine algorithm. Then, we evaluate the performance between ours and other state-of-the-art methods through experiments. Experimental results confirm that the proposed method provides a fast and robust prediction for target motion. At last, we embed our method with dual-resolution camera system to perform high-quality motion compensation effect in real time.

Opis:
The structure and load characteristics of the roadway are simplified, and the experimental model of the roadway deformation and damage under compression-shear load is established. The experimental data acquisition system is built with a CCD camera. The digital speckle correlation method is used to calculate the image data of the experimental model. The correspondence between the evolution law of the deformation field, the interlayer displacement and deformation evolution are analysed, including the dynamic characteristic of the roadway surrounding the rock. Research results indicate: (1) The damage peak load of the weak layer structure shows a decreasing trend as the interlayer shear stress increases. As the initially applied shear stress increases, the value of interlayer sliding displacement increases, and the dynamic characteristics become more apparent. (2) In the sub-instability phase of the loading curve, when the surrounding rock slides along the layers under compression-shear load, the stress is re-distributed and transmitted to the deep part of the surrounding rock. Then the surrounding rock of the roadway forms the characteristic of alternating change, between tension to compression. (3) According to the state of dynamic and static mechanics, the deformation evolution of the roadway before the peak load belongs to the static process. Zonal fracturing is part of the transition phase from the static process to the slow dynamic process, and the rockburst damage is a high-speed dynamic process. (4) Under the compression-shear load, due to the weak layer structure of the coal and rock mass, the local fracture, damage, instability and sliding of the surrounding rock of the roadway are the mechanical causes of rockburst. (5) Even if the coal and rock mass does not have the condition of impact tendency, under stress load of the horizontal direction, distribution of large shear stress is formed between layers, and the dynamic damage of the rockburst may occur.

The Pb(II)-resistant bacterium was isolated from heavy metal-contained soils and used as a biosorbent to remove Pb(II). The strain was identified as Enterobacter sp. based on the 16S rRNA sequence analysis. The effect of biosorption properties (pH value, Pb(II) concentration, bacterial concentration and temperature) on Pb(II) was investigated by batch experiments. Results of FTIR and XPS showed that the biosorption process mainly involved some oxygen-containing groups (-OH and -COOH groups). The experimental results and equilibrium data were fitted by pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir model, respectively. The experimental biosorption isotherms fitted the Langmuir model, and the maximum biosorption capacity was 40.75 mg/g at 298 K. The calculated ΔGо and ΔHо were –4.06 and 14.91(kJ/mol), respectively, which indicated that biosorption process was spontaneous and endothermic. Results show that Enterobacter sp. will be an efficient biosorbent for Pb(II) removal.

Opis:
The interferogram containing the noises often affects the accuracy of phase retrieval, leading to the degradation of the phase imaging quality. To address this issue, a new interferogram blind denoising (IBD) method based on deep residual learning is proposed. In the presence of unknown noise levels, during the training, the deep residual convolutional neural networks (DRCNN) in the IBD approach is able to remove the latent clean interferogram implicitly, and then gradually establish the residual mapping relation in the pixel-level between the interferogram and the noises. With a well-trained DRCNN model, this algorithm can deal not only with the single-frame interferogram efficiently but also with the multi-frame phase-shifted interferograms collaboratively, while effectively retaining interferogram features related to phase retrieval. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and applicability of the proposed IBD method.

Opis:
Autonomous vehicles are the most advanced intelligent vehicles and will play an important role in reducing traffic accidents, saving energy and reducing emission. Motion control for trajectory tracking is one of the core issues in the field of autonomous vehicle research. According to the characteristics of strong nonlinearity, uncertainty and changing longitudinal velocity for autonomous vehicles at high speed steering condition, the robust trajectory tracking control is studied. Firstly, the vehicle system models are established and the novel target longitudinal velocity planning is carried out. This velocity planning method can not only ensure that the autonomous vehicle operates in a strong nonlinear coupling state in bend, but also easy to be constructed. Then, taking the lateral location deviation minimizing to zero as the lateral control objective, a robust active disturbance rejection control path tracking controller is designed along with an extended state observer which can deal with the varying velocity and uncertain lateral disturbance effectively. Additionally, the feed for ward-feedback control method is adopted to control the total tire torque, which is distributed according to the steering characteristics of the vehicle for additional yaw moment to enhance vehicle handing stability. Finally, the robustness of the proposed controller is evaluated under velocity-varying condition and sudden lateral disturbance. The single-lane change maneuver and double-lane change maneuver under vary longitudinal velocity and different road adhesions are both simulated. The simulation results based on Matlab/Simulink show that the proposed controller can accurately observe the external disturbances and have good performance in trajectory tracking and handing stability. The maximum lateral error reduces by 0.18 meters compared with a vehicle that controlled by a feedback-feedforward path tracking controller in the single-lane change maneuver. The lateral deviation is still very small even in the double lane change case of abrupt curvature. It should be noted that our proposed control algorithm is simple and robust, thus provide great potential for engineering application.

ObjectivesExposure to light at night (LAN) can disturb circadian endocrine and metabolic rhythms. Hyperuricemia (HUA) is an early-onset metabolic disorder. However, it is still not clear whether LAN exposure increases the prevalence of HUA.Material and MethodsThe authors used crosssectional data on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei occupational populations cohort from March–July 2017. A total of 7664 steel workers were finally selected to investigate the relationship between LAN exposure and the prevalence of HUA among steel workers. The authors collected demographic and socio-economic data, as well as information on lifestyle factors, anthropometric measures, and laboratory tests. The restricted cubic spline method was used to analyze the dose-response relationship between cumulative LAN exposure and the prevalence of HUA. Logistic regression analyses were used to fit the relationship between them.ResultsThe average age of the participants was 43.5±8.6 years; 7051 (91.7%) of them were males, 2749 (35.9%) reported to suffer from HUA, and 1241 (16.2%) were not exposed to LAN. There was a significant non-linear dose-response relationship between them. After adjustment for the confounding factors, including demographic data, lifestyle factors, etc., the lower LAN exposure was significantly associated with HUA (0–1931.7 days, OR = 1.180, and the 95% CI: 1.000–1.394; 1931.7–4343 days, OR = 1.215, 95% CI: 1.035–1.426).ConclusionsThis study revealed that a certain amount of exposure to LAN is independently related to the prevalence of HUA in steel workers in China.
