Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the innovations in Industry 4.0 conditions. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Analysis of international literature from main databases and polish literature and legal acts connecting with researched topic. Findings: The publication concentrate on problems connected with various aspects of relations between Industry 4.0 and innovativeness. In the paper we presented the main presumptions of Industry 4.0 concept and it’s nowadays usage. In the second part of the paper there is an analysis of main trends of today Industry 4.0 implementation approaches and innovativeness. Especially there is an description of main innovative trends of 2021 described from Industry 4.0 relations point of view. Also the paper deals with the social innovation aspect of Industry 4.0. There are very interesting and innovative concepts that can be used in today business environment and also governments. Some of them like universal basic income are a bit controversial but it needs to further more detailed analysis if it is possible and could benefit to the society. Other trends can be for example: new forms of employment or new types of organizational culture. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of all subjects related to the problems connected with the innovations in Industry 4.0 conditions.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the team innovation processes in industrial enterprise. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Analysis of international literature from main databases and polish literature and legal acts connecting with researched topic. Findings: The publication concentrate on problems connected with various aspects of team innovations. In the paper we presented the system of interactions which exist between negotiators in team especially from innovativeness point of view. Also we analyzed problems connected with team creativity and boasting it because team creativity is indispensable to boast innovativeness in industrial company. On the basis of the literature analysis it can be pointed out that the satisfying level of innovativeness can be achievable without appropriate level of creativity. To enhance it within company we need to give the people enough freedom and appropriate leadership adjusted to the culture of people. Also it is important to integrate creativity concepts and methods enhancing creativity into day-to-day operation of the organization. The organization should careful plan the division of the resources between innovative tasks. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of all subjects related to the problems connected with team innovation in an industrial enterprise.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the main principles of the usage of the engineering ethic in the enterprise. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Analysis of international literature from main databases and polish literature and legal acts connecting with researched topic. Findings: Engineering students should learn the concepts of engineering ethics in much the same way as they learn technical topics. As they build awareness of ethical issues related to engineering and learn about the tools available to deal with ethical dilemmas, such as codes of ethics, they should be able to extrapolate this knowledge and anticipate some of the problems that may arise. We believe that every engineer should be familiar with the basic concepts of engineering ethics in order to make proper use of ethical codes in their country and their organisation. An ethical approach to engineering can achieve better working conditions and better outcomes for all people and stakeholders of the organisation Originality/value: Detailed analysis of all subjects related to the problems connected with main principles of engineering ethic.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the methods of management in the case of engineering teams. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Findings: The considerations presented in the publication made it possible to analyses the most important aspects of managing engineering teams. The publication draws attention to the specificity of managing engineering teams and the features that distinguish it from management in other types of organizations. In particular, it points out how to develop engineering teams in subsequent stages. The paper presents soft skills that should characterize people managing engineering teams, such as: dependability, work ethic, communication skills, community and teamwork, time management skills, goal setting, mental ability and takes direction well. The paper has a special focus on the best practices that should be followed to effectively manage engineering teams. Especially nowadays, in the era of Industry 4.0, there is a need for team management in industrial companies as well as more and more cooperation between people and machines. This kind of approach requires careful planning and management of engineering teams. The best practices presented in the publication can provide assistance to engineering teams in today's industrial enterprises wherever teamwork is necessary. Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the methods of management in the case of project management of engineering teams. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Findings: The considerations presented in the publication made it possible to analyses the most important aspects of project management. The paper concentrate on the analysis of basic principles of project management especially in the condition of Industry 4.0. In the analysis we were concentrated on industrial organization and tried to characterize main benefits of using the project approach in those enterprises. We distinguished the main benefits of using project management in industrial enterprise in Industry 4.0 conditions. It is especially important to use this approach to handle complex, costly and risky projects which are not easy to manage in traditional way. In Industry 4.0 we can spot many those type indyscyplinary projects linking the technical and social knowledge. In those situation using of project management approach can lead to the success of organization activities. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of all subjects related to the problems connected with project management in engineering organizations.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the role of the engineer in the process of implementing sustainable development principles in the industrial enterprise. The theoretical aim of the paper is to analyses the main function and concept of production control in operation management. The empirical aim of the paper is to investigate polish production firm opinion about factors affecting production planning and control and also functions of production planning and control. Production control is very important in every factory, and every aspect of operation and production management especially in times of Industry 4.0 conditions. In the paper we presented all classical seven task of production management control. Also there is in the paper an analysis of main factors affecting production control in industrial organization. In the paper we analysed the problems connected with production control. Nowadays in the conditions of Industry 4.0 this is very important concept because the increasing level of digitalization of all industrial processes leads to possibility of detailed analysis of all processes and better level of control. Operation managers should have good level of knowledge about production control and especially quality control. They can use in this many new information tools like statistical methods and artificial intelligence. Especially we think that in the future many function of production control would be assisted by artificial intelligence. We also in the paper give results of research conducted on example of 30 polish production organizations located in Silesia region.

Purpose: The goal of the paper is to analyses process of implementation and effectiveness of 5S method in an industrial enterprise. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis, questionnaire analysis, case study analysis. Findings: On the example of industrial organization that was in the presented paper an analysis of effectiveness of 5S implementation. On the basis of conducted analysis the main objectives of using 5S are: order in the workplace, maintenance of cleanliness and efficiency of machines and devices, shorter duration of activities. The main causes of problems with 5S implementation are connected with no time to do the work and lack of funds. The overall rating of efficiency of 5S method in analyzed enterprise is very good. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of main objectives of using 5S method and the main causes of problems with it in the industrial enterprise.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyse the problems connected with the design of operation processes realised within an organisation in the ISO 9001:2015 implementation process. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Analysis of international literature from main databases and Polish literature and legal acts connecting with the researched topic. Findings: Design and development planning refers to identifying the stages and controls for the stages to design and develop products. Stages that are appropriate for product development are decided by a design team. An organisation is required to plan and develop its design and development activities as a process. The goal of this process is to ensure that the realisation of the product or service will be according to their specification. The design and development processes, operations, activities and controls shall be planned in accordance to several requirements. The organisation should implement the planned arrangements at appropriate stages to verify that the product and service requirements have been met. The release of products and services to the customer shall not proceed until the planned arrangements have been satisfactory completed, unless otherwise approved by a relevant authority and as applicable by the customer. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of all subjects related to the organisation of design in ISO 9001:2015.

Opis:
Purpose: The aim of this publication is to present the methods currently in force in Poland for determining the amount of social benefits. Design/methodology/approach: Qualitative and quantitative secondary data analysis. Data were collected from governmental organization reports and analyzed using Excel. Findings: It can be stated that the social assistance system in Poland benefits from statistics on the prices of goods and services and the cost of living of households according to the number of households and their age. Thanks to these data, it is possible to determine the value of the minimum subsistence level, the minimum subsistence level, the WDR threshold and the Social Intervention Threshold. The values of these indicators are set in different time horizons - the minimum subsistence level on a monthly basis, and the GVA level once every 3 years. In this way, the state authorities determine the income criterion entitling individuals to receive social assistance benefits. Originality/value: Detailed calculations and summaries of the Income Support Threshold and Social Intervention Threshold for different social groups were made.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyse the problems connected with operations realised within an organisation in the ISO 9001:2015 implementation process. Findings: The most important first part of the building operation system in the company is build this system according to ISO 9001:2015 requirements. An organisation, in this case, should plan, implement and control the processes needed to meet the requirements for the provision of products and services. The organisation need to ensure that outputs that do not conform to their requirements are identified and controlled to prevent their unintended use or delivery. The whole organisation should take appropriate actions based on the nature of the nonconformity and its effect on the conformity of products and services. Purpose: The purpose of this publication is to investigate the linear correlation relationship between the deployment of five certified management systems (ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 45001:2018) in organizations operating within the European Union. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Analysis of secondary sources - data about number of certifications (ISO 9001; ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, ISO 27001) in EU countries in 2018. Findings: The publication focuses on the analysis of quantitative relations between the industry standards that make up the integrated management system. The focus was on the three most common systems: quality management system (ISO 9001:2015), environmental management system (ISO 14001:2015) and occupational health and safety management system (ISO 45001:2018). In addition, the analysis took into account two systems often occurring as a component of integrated systems: ISO 27001:2013 information security management system and ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system, which are industry standards that make up the integrated management system. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of relations between numbers of main ISO certificates in EU countries.
