    The article presents an overview of some recent developments in the area of mathematical modelling of maintenance decisions with the use of time-delay and time-delay analysis. Thus, the literature overview in the investigated area is provided. The problem of time relations occurred in supply chain performance process is investigated. Later, there are presented obtained reliability analysis results in comparison with the knowledge about the case company present con-dition. The article investigates the possibilities of basic time delay model implementation in the area of logistic sys-tem of sixteen forklifts performance analysis.

    The paper focuses on basic time relations within the range of a supply chain. Relations occuring between effective, constant realization of operation task and logistics are determined. Fundamental time delays affecting added value of logistics chain are discussed. On the example of a particular production system evaluation capabilities of particular time parameters are pointed out.

    Authors define the main elements affecting the right logistic system performance level and investigate the possible connections between demand process planning quality and logistic system reliability. Thus, known in the literature definitions of logistic system reliability are characterized. Later, an overview of some recent developments in the analyzed research area is provided. In the next point, authors present the main elements affecting the reliable and available logistic system performance. Finally, the paper is ended by the presentation of the obtained analysis results in comparison with the knowledge about the case companies’ present condition.

    Many authors have highlighted the importance of physical assets maintenance management in relation to resilience engineering, especially for systems operating under significant uncertainty. Thus, the authors presented a new approach to system maintenance based on resilience concept implementation. They introduced Maintenance Support Potentials (MSP) as a measure of an organization's maintenance support capacity. Moreover, based on the MSP definition, they developed a fuzzy-based organization's maintenance support potential level assessment method. The proposed approach takes into account two main MSP parameters – potential readiness level and process regency. It followed four main steps, including organization's MSP identification/evaluation, MSP weights assessment, Maintenance Support Capacity assessment, and final reasoning. A case study of a global manufacturer from the automotive industry is presented to illustrate the method's applicability. The authors also indicated further research directions to optimize the maintenance strategy based on Resilience-Based Maintenance concept.

    This paper outlines the main challenges faced by the supply chain in the wood-based materials sector in the context of building resilience. The research work carried out made it possible to identify the main problems in the selected supply chain from the wood-based industry. They are associated with the occurrence of negative effects, including the destruction of the pallet, aging of goods in the warehouse, high packaging costs, and inefficient transport processes realization, including the processes of handling pallet units. In the context of external risks, a particular challenge is the shortage of raw materials on the market. The analyzed case study is based on the supply chain resilience assessment with regard to resilience potentials evaluation.
    W artykule zostały przedstawione główne wyzwania z jakimi mierzy się łańcuch dostaw w sektorze materiałów drewnopochodnych w kontekście budowania odporności na zagrożenia. Przeprowadzone prace badawcze pozwoliły na zidentyfikowanie podstawowych problemów w wybranym łańcuchu dostaw z branży drewnopochodnej. Związane są one z występowaniem negatywnych skutków, obejmujących m.in. zniszczenie palety, zaleganie towaru w magazynie, wysokie koszty opakowania, nie efektywną realizację procesów transportowych, w tym procesów manipulacji jednostkami paletowymi. Jednocześnie, w kontekście zagrożeń zewnętrznych szczególnym wyzwaniem jest obecnie brak surowca drewna na rynku. W analizowanym studium przypadku skupiono się na analizie odporności na zagrożenia łańcucha dostaw w odniesieniu do oceny potencjałów odporności na zagrożenia.

    Maintenance issues in mines are particularly important due to the type and complexity of equipment in operation or working in hostile (even extreme) conditions. In this context, the need to ensure continuous/regular maintenance of machinery, identify potential hazards and ensure operational safety seems to be a challenge. Moreover, selecting an appropriate maintenance method is crucial for a mine, both economically and in technical/organizational terms. This study aims to present the preliminary results of diagnostic tests for pumps performing operational tasks in a mine shaft dewatering system. In addition, this study focused on a detailed discussion of the basic elements of the mine shaft dewatering system and the technical objects studied. A preliminary operational test plan for the investigated pumps operating in the mine shaft dewatering system is also presented. This enabled a discussion of the results obtained from the tests of the first quarter of 2023. The tests used three basic diagnostic methods: vibration analysis, thermal imaging and acoustic testing. Potential directions for further research in the analyzed area were also indicated.
    Problematyka utrzymania ruchu w kopalniach jest szczególnie istotna ze względu na typ i złożoność eksploatowanych urządzeń czy pracę w nieprzyjaznych (wręcz ekstremalnych) warunkach operacyjnych. Wyzwaniem w tym kontekście jest konieczność zapewnienia ciągłych/regularnych napraw maszyn, identyfikacji potencjalnych zagrożeń oraz zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa pracy. W tym kontekście, dobór odpowiedniej metody utrzymania ruchu ma kluczowe znaczenie dla kopalni, zarówno w kontekście ekonomicznym jak i techniczno-organizacyjnym. Celem pracy jest więc przedstawienie wstępnych wyników badań diagnostycznych przeprowadzonych dla pomp realizujących zadania operacyjne w systemie odwodnienia szybu kopalni. W ramach realizacji celu pracy skupiono się na szczegółowym omówieniu podstawowych elementów systemu odwodnienia szybu kopalni oraz badanych obiektów technicznych. Przedstawiono również wstępny plan badań eksploatacyjnych dla badanych pomp, funkcjonujących w systemie odwodnienia szybu kopalni. Pozwoliło to na omówienie uzyskanych wyników badań, przeprowadzonych w pierwszym kwartale 2023 roku. Badania zostały opracowane z wykorzystaniem trzech podstawowych metod diagnostycznych: analizy drgań, termowizji oraz badań akustycznych. Wskazano również potencjalne kierunki dalszych prac badawczych w analizowanym obszarze.
