International Logistic Centre in Wrocław - Opis:
- Wroclaw agglomeration is presented in the structure of the national and international transport system as well as directions of development of basic transport modes in Wroclaw. The situation of intermodal transport in Poland against the background of Europe and other countries was presented. Attention was drawn to the technical and technological problems of existing intermodal transport terminals in the Wroclaw agglomeration. The economic premises of the International Logistic Centre in Wrocław and the concepts of the Centre’s construction are discussed. The PKP PLK Wroclaw Osobowice station was proposed as the location of the Logistic Centre, whose main technological element is the intermodal transport terminal.
