    The definitions of pathogen and opportunistic infections by different invaders have been presented. Psychogenic and organic factors responsible for the immunological deficiency have been defined. New found cases of the opportunistic parasitoses have been described. Special attention has been paid to the different course of parasitoses accompanied by immunological deficiency.

    Celem głównym pracy jest próba usystematyzowania dotychczasowego dorobku naukowo-badawczego dotyczącego współpracy przedsiębiorstw z podmiotami poszczególnych sektorów poczwórnej helisy oraz opracowanie implikacji dla teorii i praktyki. Publikacja skierowana jest do szerokiego grona odbiorców, zarówno do osób działających w sferze naukowej współczesnej rzeczywistości, zajmujących się poruszanymi zagadnieniami, jak i praktyków oraz decydentów kreujących obecną rzeczywistość gospodarczą. Nie ulega wątpliwości, że z racji bogatej warstwy teoretycznej książka ta może się stać również interesującą pozycją dla studentów zgłębiających zagadnienia współpracy i zaufania międzyorganizacyjnego.
    Inter-organizational cooperation has been the subject of many areas of management and quality sciences for years since it is a complex and difficult issue. Despite entrepreneurs’ awareness of its role and importance, the relations between cooperating entities are often weak and unstable. The essence and principles of cooperation using knowledge, mutual learning and the synergy of resources in innovative processes are brought closer, among others, by the quadruple helix model, in which cooperation takes place between four participants in innovative processes – the sectors of science, business, power and civil society. This model, compared to the triple helix, describes the new economic environment and shows that the whole society is engaged in continuous innovation that results from the co-creation between the four helixes connected by networks, partnerships and symbiotic relationships. Cooperation with entities from each of the above-mentioned spheres has a slightly different character and significance for the enterprise. Undoubtedly, the premises that guide entities when establishing such relationships are important. In the literature on the subject, this issue remains mainly in the area of theoretical considerations. Relatively few empirical works deal with the issues of the motives of involvement of enterprises in relations with selected subjects of individual helixes, i.e. research institutions, other enterprises, power, society. However, there are still no comprehensive studies that contain an analysis of the motives and problems of cooperation with various types of partners. The main goal of the work is an attempt to systematize the scientific and research achievements to date regarding the cooperation of enterprises with entities from individual sectors of the quadruple helix and to develop implications for theory and practice. The publication is addressed to a wide audience, both to people active in the scientific sphere of contemporary reality, dealing with the issues discussed and to practitioners and decision-makers creating the current economic reality. There is no doubt that due to the rich theoretical layer, this book may also become interesting for students exploring the issues of cooperation and inter-organizational trust.
